Chapter 805: Before Departure

Harry suddenly woke up at half-past five the next morning, as if someone was shouting in his ear.

For a short time he lay firmly on his bed, the scene of the disciplinary hearing filling every corner of his mind, almost unbearable for Harry, he jumped out of bed and put on his glasses.

Van Lin had left early, and he was not the only one who left today, in Van Lin's words, he would have been more than willing to accompany Harry to the hearing if possible.

Mrs. Weasley had cleaned his jeans and T-shirt and placed them at the foot of the bed. The blank painting on the wall was also eating and laughing. Ron lay on his back on all fours, mouth wide open, and soon fell asleep, not being woken as Harry walked across the room.

Harry stepped out of the bedroom, stood on the floor slab and gently closed the door behind him. Harry tried to think about it again and looked at Ron, maybe they would never be classmates at Hogwarts again.

Harry calmly descended the stairs, through the Kreacher ancestor head decoration, and then down into the kitchen.

He had wished there was no one in the kitchen now, or maybe it was just Van Lin himself...... But when Harry reached the door, he heard a low conversation on the other side.

He opened the door to see the Weasleys, Sirius, Lupin, and Tonks all sitting inside, with Van Lin and Hermione at the end of the table...... It was almost as if they were waiting for him.

Everyone but Mrs. Weasley was well-dressed, and Mrs. Weasley wore a padded purple dressing gown.

When Harry came in, she was busy with breakfast.

"Breakfast," Mrs. Weasley hastily lit the fire with her wand drawn.

"Morningโ€”morningโ€”good morning, Harry," Tonks said with a yawn. Her hair was white and slightly curly this morning, "Come and sit down." She pulled out a chair and moved the one next to her.

"What do you want, Harry?" asked Mrs. Weasley. "Cereal, muffins, pickled fish, bacon and eggs, or toast?"

"Just to- just toast, thank you," Harry said. Lupin glanced at Harry before turning to Tonks, "What did you say happened to Squim?"

"Oh... Yes... Okay, we need to be a little more careful, he's already asked Kingsley and me some weird questions..."Harry felt a vague sense of gratitude, he didn't need to be part of the conversation. His body was squirming.

Mrs. Weasley placed two slices of toast and marmalade in front of Harry, and he tried to eat them, but they tasted like chewing wax. Mrs. Weasley sat down on the other side of him and began to make a fuss about his t-shirt, flattening the tags and smoothing out the creases from the shoulders. But Harry wanted her not to.

โ€œ... And I have to tell Dumbledore that I can't work the night shift tomorrow night, I'm just too โ€” too tired," Tonks said with a big yawn.

"You've got to learn to adapt, Tonks. Van Lin laughed, "Moody said, it's a very important job, but after we're gone, only Mr. Weasley, Mrs. Weasley, and Mr. Lupin can help you, but Bill should be back in two days......"

"Oh, thank goodness, I'm not going to let him go. Tonks said, his mouth growing.

"I'll do it for you," said Mrs. Weasley, "and I'll be fine." I'm going to finish a report anyway. โ€

Instead of wearing a wizard's robes, Mr. Weasley wore pinstriped trousers and an old-fashioned bomber jacket. He turned his head away from Donx to Harry.

"How does it feel?"

Harry shrugged, he was a little numb, and the teasing of Van Lin and Tonks didn't interest him at all.

"It'll be over soon," Mr. Weasley said, cheering up, "and you'll be fine in a few hours." โ€

"The hearing was held in the office of Amira Bones, who was on the same floor as me. She's the head of the Magical Ordinance Enforcement Division, which is investigating you. โ€

"Emira Burns is a good man, Harry," Tonks said sincerely, "she is fair, and she will listen to you." โ€

Harry nodded, he still had nothing to say, in fact, he was a little out of place at this moment.

"Don't do that, Harry, it's not a big deal, and ......," Van Lin leaned over and said, "Hermione and I agreed that you would meet whoever you wanted. โ€

"Someone to meet?"

"Dumbledore, of course. Hermione glanced at Van Lin, "That's it, Harry, there's no way Dumbledore will leave you alone, and ......"

"And don't lose heart," Sirius said suddenly, "be polite and close to the facts. โ€

Harry nodded again.

"The law is on your side," Lupin said calmly, "even underage wizards are allowed to use magic in the moment of life and death. โ€

Suddenly, a cold snap came from Harry's neck to his back, and for a moment Harry thought someone had cast a spell on him, and then he realized that it was Mrs. Weasley combing his hair with a wet comb. She pressed hard against Harry's head.

"Has your hair ever been flat and fit?" asked Mrs. Weasley, disappointed.

Harry shook his head.

Mr. Weasley looked at his watch, then looked up at Harry. "I think we're leaving now," he said, "we're going a little early, but I think it's better for you to leave for the Ministry of Magic earlier than to be here like ants on a hot pan." โ€

"Okay," Harry replied subconsciously, putting down the toast in his hand and standing up.

"You'll be fine, Harry. Tonks said as he pressed Harry's shoulder like a good friend.

"Good luck," said Lupin, "I'm sure you'll be well." โ€

"If things don't go your way," Sirius said through gritted teeth, "I'll visit Amira Burns for you, and Scrimthour, the Aurors should be ......"

"Forget it, don't say it's useless, Sirius. Van Lin shook his head, "Listen, Harry, this is something that shouldn't be taken to heart, in fact, it's not against the law for them to summon the members of the Wizengamot for you to conduct a hearing......

"And ......," Hermione continued, "you are lawful by law. โ€

Harry smiled weakly.

Mrs. Weasley hugged him. "We'll all pray for you," she said

"Okay," Harry said, "yes...... Then goodbye. โ€
