Chapter 1009: Kreacher and the Black Family

Compared to Harry's troubles, it was obvious that after solving a problem, Van Lin seemed more relaxed than ever, although he was curious about why the relics of the four founders had become mutilated, but this could not affect Van Lin's current mood.

But Kreacher was always a nuisance.

As he remembers, Kreacher can be said to have been very helpful to Voldemort.

Because Sirius has no affection for home, Kreacher only reminds him of the family he hates, so he calls the house-elf "useless waste" and indifferent.

In fact, both Hermione and Dumbledore had warned him to treat Kreacher with kindness and respect, but Sirius did not do so, and Kreacher, who had been trying to escape from the house, finally seized the opportunity on Christmas Eve. When Sirius yells at him to "get out of here", Kreacher misinterprets it as "get out of that house".

This led Kreacher to the residence of Narcissa Malfoy, the only one in the Black family who had some respect, and Kreacher began to serve both masters.

However, he did not reveal to the Malfoys the location of the Order of the Phoenix or some of the secret plans of the Order of the Phoenix that he was forbidden to divulge. He was bound by the magic of the elves, which meant that he could not disobey the direct orders of his master, Sirius. However, to Sirius, it was all very inconspicuous little things, and he didn't need to think about not saying it, and Harry leaked the fact that Sirius was his parent and brother to the enemy.

Voldemort used this information to get Harry to get the Prophecy Ball. Kreacher followed Voldemort's orders to injure Buckbeak, and Sirius was upstairs tending to Buckbeak when Harry appeared in the fireplace in Grimmauld Place.

Voldemort sent false information to Harry's heart that Sirius was being tortured, and Harry immediately appeared in the fire in the fireplace of the house. Kreacher lied that his master had not returned from the Department of Mysteries. In this way, Harry was tricked into the Department of Mysteries, and Sirius followed him, and unfortunately died.

It can be said that from beginning to end, this house-elf has played a key role, and Van Lin has no doubt that if nothing unexpected happens, no matter how many times it is repeated, Kreacher will still be this choice.

But in fact, it was not Kreacher's fault alone, it can be said that Sirius's death was completely self-inflicted, as well as bad circumstances.

Kreacher lived alone in the Black family's ancestral home for more than a decade, and it also housed Voldemort's Horcruxes and even Lady Black.

A wizard of a traditional dark wizard family.

And Kreacher became dysfunctional because of the influence of Mrs. Black.

Speaking of which, Sirius is definitely the worst bear child for the Black family.

Walburga's eldest son, Sirius Black, disappointed her because he did not share the ideology of the blood component and was sorted into Gryffindor House at Hogwarts instead of the rest of Slytherin.

To make matters worse, Sirius grew up openly disagreeing with his family, especially his mother. He decorated his room with pictures of Muggle motorcycles and posters of Muggle girls in bikinis, and pasted them to the walls with a permanent paste charm.

At the age of sixteen, Sirius left home and moved in with the Potter family. As a result, he was stripped of his inheritance rights and removed from the Black family tree. Walburga personally removed his son's name from the tapestry. She seems to be in the habit of removing the names of people who upset her from the Black family tree: after Sirius ran away, for example, she removed the name of her brother Alphad from the family because he had financed Sirius after that. According to Kreacher, Walburga was heartbroken after the new departure of the little Sirius, but still got rid of his name.

However, Walburga's youngest son, Regulus, followed the family tradition and entered Slytherin House, where he became her favorite child.

During the First Wizarding War, Regulus became a member of the Death Eaters. Although neither Orion nor Walburga were followers of Voldemort, according to Sirius, they both believed that Voldemort's claims were correct, but they both were timid and flinched when they saw Voldemort do whatever it took to gain power.

Regulus, on the other hand, was killed in 1979 while attempting to destroy one of Voldemort's Horcruxes, leaving no children or heirs.

Because Regulus forbade Kreacher to tell anyone about this, Mrs. Black always believed that he had been killed because he wanted to get rid of the Death Eaters, and the disappearance was especially ridiculous for a wizard.

It can be said that Mrs. Black is stubborn enough and decisive enough, but on a different standpoint, this is just an inevitable choice, and the ideology of pure-blood aristocratic wizards cannot tolerate a cancer like Sirius.

Regulus, on the other hand, inherited this very well in the early stage, and Regulus also discovered Voldemort's badness, and Van Lin suspected that Mrs. Black did not join the Death Eaters because of this consideration.

The Black family is strong enough and has a long history, and several descendants of the Black family, whether it is Sirius, Regulus, Narcissa and Bella, are among the best in the wizarding world.

But the Black family is in a miserable state now.

Narcissa is integrated into the Malfoy family, and Bella is preoccupied with Voldemort, and as a woman, it is impossible to inherit the title of the Black family.

Sirius, on the other hand, was extremely resistant, for other wizards, the Black family was definitely synonymous with honor, and on Sirius, Van Lin felt that the probability of this being the biggest stain was as high as one hundred percent.

Otherwise, Sirius would not have left the Black family, and he would not have been chosen by Gryffindor when he was at Hogwarts.

Van Lin has always wondered why the Sorting Hat has so much magic to discern a person's heart, in Van Lin's opinion, how old a child is, at best, a matter of will, as for what he grows up to become, it depends entirely on the acquired environment.

And Sirius would be so chosen by the Sorting Hat, perhaps because Sirius's rebellious heart was at work, otherwise with Sirius's temper, how could he endure such a big conflict with the Black family until he was sixteen years old?

And before that, with the style of pure-blood wizard aristocracy, it was simply incredible that Mrs. Black did not sweep Sirius out early.

And the conclusion is that Sirius is definitely the spoiled one.

And a lot of the responsibility lies with the Black family themselves, who turned their attention to Regulus after feeling that Sirius had no hope, and it was still a pipe dream after all.

In the end, apart from an old house and dilapidated ornaments, the Black family was left with a loyal but somewhat insane fellow.

It's hard to say that this is not the choice of the times, there are always so many people who have to be eliminated, and the Black family, which has a long history and does not know how to be flexible, is undoubtedly a tragedy.
