Chapter 896: Rescue
Walk out of the dormitory, walk up the spiral staircase, into the common room, walk through the portrait, and leave along the moonlit corridor of the fat lady. Harry felt as if the fear in his heart could explode at any moment.
He wanted to run and tell Dumbledore that Mr. Weasley was bleeding when they strolled so calmly, and if something happened to Mr. Weasley...... Blood splattered all over the mask......
As they passed Mrs. Loris, its round eyes looked them up and down, and they hissed faintly.
Professor McGonagall said, "Shhhh
"Fizzinghizzbee!" said Professor McGonagall.
The monster came to life and jumped to the side, the wall cracked in either side, and a spiraling stone staircase moving upwards appeared. As the four of them stepped up the moving staircase, the wall slammed shut behind them.
They move up the narrow passage until they come to an ornate oak door decorated with brass heads. Even though it was past midnight, there was still chatter in the room, sounding as if Dumbledore had at least a dozen guests.
Professor McGonagall held the beast's head and tapped it three times, and the voice inside suddenly fell silent.
The door opened automatically, and Professor McGonagall was the first to enter, and Van Lin followed closely behind Harry to help him inside.
The room was half-lit and half-dark, with all sorts of strange silver instruments sitting quietly on the table, instead of flying around in puffs of smoke as usual, and the portraits of the old headmistress and headmistress were all napping in frames on the wall. By the door, a huge bird with magnificent red and yellow feathers rested under its wings and dozed off on its perch.
It still looks the same, Van Lin is coming to the office for the second time this semester, and it seems that Umbridge's affairs are really not taken seriously......
"Oh, it's you, Professor McGonagall and ....... Dumbledore was sitting in a high-backed chair behind his desk, leaning over to the flickering candlelight to lay a document in front of him.
He was dressed in a white nightgown and a purple and gold coat with embroidery, but he looked very conscious, his pale blue eyes staring at Professor McGonagall.
"Professor Dundeled, Harry had a nightmare," Professor McGonagall said. "He told me. ”
"It's not a dream," Harry said quickly.
Professor McGonagall looked at Harry and frowned slightly.
"Very well, then Harry, please tell the Headmaster. ”
"I'm asleep," Harry said, trying to make Dumbledore understand his horror and despair. He felt slightly irritated, and instead of looking at him, the headmaster looked at his finger. "But this is no ordinary dream. It's real. I see it happening. Harry took a deep breath," Ron's dad ...... Mr. Weasley...... Attacked with a wand. ”
After he finished speaking, the words seemed to still echo in the air, sounding a little ridiculous, like comedy. Dumbledore paused, leaning back and staring back at the ceiling. Van Lin frowned slightly, but his expression was more serious, as if he was thinking, while Ron's eyes wandered over Harry and Dumbledore, his face pale and trembling.
"How do you see that?" asked Dumbledore calmly, not glancing at Harry.
"I don't know," Harry said he was furious, what did it matter?
"In my head, I think ......" Dumbledore's tone was still very calm, "you misunderstood me"
Dumbledore said. "I mean do you remember...... Belch...... Where were you standing when you saw the attacker? You might be standing next to the victim or you might be looking down from above the scene?"
The question was so strange that Harry glared at Dumbledore as if he knew.
"I'm a bystander......" Harry said. "I saw it from the perspective of darkness. ”
"Bystanders, the attacker came out from behind you?"
"Yes......" Harry looked at Van Lin in some surprise, "but ......"
"Where?" Dumbledore asked.
"I don't know, all I see is black floor tiles and a lot of crystal balls. ”
No one spoke, and more, bewilderment appeared in Van Lin's face......
Spectator, then, what would Harry be without Nagini?
"Is Arthur seriously injured?"
"Yes," Harry emphasized!
But the ensuing anger flooded Harry's mind. Why couldn't Dumbledore look at him for polite reasons?
But Dumbledore stood up suddenly, and he moved so quickly that Harry was startled.
"Evra?" Dumbledore said quickly. "And Delis," a male wizard with a short, yellow face and a silver-curled old witch stood beside him, their eyes open, as if they had both woken up from their deepest sleep.
"Are you listening?" said Dumbledore. The wizard nodded, and the witch said, "Of course." ”
"Arthur should be on duty tonight, the Weasleys ......," Dumbledore said. "Everlad, you are an alarmist, make sure reliable people find him......"
"And Delis, you go to St. Mungo's Hospital for Witchcraft and Wizardry, I think we need to be prepared!"
The two nodded and left their original frames. He did not appear in the adjacent photograph but disappeared. All that remains in the background of the two frames is a black curtain and a beautiful leather armchair.
Harry noticed that most of the other headmasters and ladies on the walls seemed to be snoring and drooling convincingly, but they were all sneaking a peek out of his nose. He suddenly guessed who had been talking when they had already knocked on the door.
"Evra and Delis are the most famous Headmasters of Hogwarts," Dumbledore said, glancing at Van Lin, Harry, Ron, and Professor McGonagall, who were standing next to the door, a magnificent bird sleeping on a perch.
"Their fame is so great that their portraits are hung in many other important wizarding institutions. So they are free to move between their own portraits and tell us what's going on elsewhere. ”
"But Mr. Weasley could be anywhere!" said Harry.
"You three, please sit down," Dumbledore said, ignoring Harry's words, "Evra and Delis may not be back right away. Professor McGonagall, please change a few more chairs. ”
Professor McGonagall pulled her wand from the pocket of her robe and waved it, revealing four wooden straight-backed chairs in the air, somewhat different from the comfortable chintz armchair that Dumbledore had conjured up at Harry's hearing.
Harry sat down and looked over the back of his chair at Dumbledore. Dumbledore stroked Fawkes' golden head with a finger. Fox immediately woke up. It raised its beautiful head and stared at Dumbledore with bright, dark eyes.
"We need," Dumbledore whispered to the birds, "a warning." ”
