Thank you for having you, the sword is eternal, a million words (I)
Millions of authors, thousands of new books added every day, the vast sea of online books, you must be curious to know what will happen when you first enter the online literature circle?
Now, in my own words, I will tell you.
I have read books for many years and written the beginnings of countless novels, but in the end, they are all gone.
So, years ago, I finally mustered up the courage to pick up the pen in my hand, uh no, the keyboard, and ran to the online literature circle.
First of all, of course, I had to prepare the first chapter of the new book, which was about 50,000 words at that time, because I could write it as I could.
As the saying goes, I have food in my hands, and I don't panic in my heart, so, after preparing all this, I registered an account on the Black Rock Reading website, created a new novel, and then uploaded the first chapter of the book to wait for review, who knew that it would be five days!
Of course, it was a weekend holiday, and it was understandable that the editors of the website were slow, but it was understandable that people had their own rhythm of life.
The book is under review, and it's boring to wait, what am I doing? Make a cover! That's right, it's the ugly cover from before, which I drew casually with flash. And then of course someone complained about it: it's really ugly.
On June 15th, this is a big day! My book was officially approved, and after that, it was first complained about by the review editor.
Edit: It's good that you're just a kid, otherwise, you'd just wait to be dismissed.
Later, it was finally officially available on the website, although it has now been successfully signed.
Before I released it, I set a few principles for myself:
First, do not canvass votes, and second, do not open trumpet voting privately.
I'm sure there are a lot of people who, like me, do just to see how their books will be reacted.
How's my book going?
It can be summed up in one word simply - very poor.
Having said that, it's actually normal to be poor, and it's not terrible, the key is to be able to learn a lesson and understand why you pounced.
Here's a little bit of a summary of this:
First of all, as a pure newbie, I'm too little well-known (well, well, really putting gold on my face, actually, no one knows me at all!) and at this time, as far as I know, my book is only one chance to be noticed by others by "appearing in the update list every time it is updated".
And I'm a very slow person to write books, and I don't have many manuscripts, and I am sad to change two times a day, so the chance of being discovered by others is even smaller!
However, I did conclude that midnight updates after 12 o'clock were more likely to be discovered and noticed by others - at least, this was the kind of fantasy category that my book was in at the time.
Okay, moving on to what happened next:
I didn't sign a contract, and although the signing was worrying, things actually went more smoothly than I imagined.
No, the next day, I was praised by a book friend and voted for a recommendation, and then I was happy and hurried to pay attention to people.
Then, I saw the more human side of Black Rock reading, and to be honest, it may be a great encouragement for many novices.
Maybe it's really because I'm a title party.,I found that the clicks are slowly growing.,But it's not going to go up.,At that time, I wrote "Sword and Ancient Times" as expected, and this name is popular and few people read it!
At this time, the second book review came unexpectedly, and I hurriedly paid attention to others.
However, I also noticed a problem from this, that is, even if people really think that your writing is good, they will not necessarily vote for you!
Come to think of it, people may like ten books at the same time, but they may not have ten tickets, and even if they do, they won't give it to me.
Also, it's a discussion of how to write the article, and I don't have a few readers in total, so it's hard to reconcile!
Then, I initially saw the power of the local tyrants, and was smashed 11 votes at once, but unfortunately, people didn't leave anything to say, and I couldn't pay attention to it, so I had to be cheeky to add people.
And then I still arrogantly didn't vote for myself, as a result, until the click broke 1,000, the recommendation still didn't rise, and my heart was stuffed! And what touched me was that the person who complained about me was actually the one who voted the most, is this the so-called "deep love, responsibility"?!
is still the brother who complained, in a domineering president-like tone: "What kind of thing is this writing, wasting my traffic and time" For this sentence, I decided to watch five times a day.
As a result, it lasted only three days......
