Chapter 26 of Section F: Aid (Winged Knight)

Pulling the sword out of the air, the knight was splattered with blood, and the smell of fish immediately filled his nose. Just as he frowned in disgust to shake off the blood from his blade, he heard a thump and a girl's scream. This was followed by intermittent moans and wails in the wind.

Lusa immediately heard Aya's voice, and the knight straightened up in astonishment, and hurriedly turned his head. In front of him, it was a girl curled up on the ground a few meters away. Her expression was holding back the pain, but her hands were no longer holding the pistol.

What the hell, Lusa, I haven't been hit for so long, and now I'm thrown so far away...... Listening to the sound of rapidly approaching footsteps, he subconsciously pressed his shield against his chest and withstood the heavy blow of invisibility. However, just as he struggled to swing his shield and tried to retreat to secure his defense, the sound of the enemy's violent backward jump was instantaneous, followed by a heavy landing sound. A string of rushing sounds came in an instant, heading straight for Aya's direction.

It went at Lusa?!This guy just made a feint to delay a while, but wasn't the real target?Immediately lowering his body, the knight slammed his waist and ran wildly towards the girl who was tormented by pain and couldn't get up.

Ayana's pain perception was five times that of ordinary people, so they could not suffer any pain in battle. Otherwise, she would almost be ineffective on the spot - although the injury recovered quickly, that little time on the battlefield was enough to kill her.

Rushing with all his might, the knight approached Aya in time to get ahead of the enemy. The shield slid in the direction of the footsteps, and he forcibly suppressed the violent recoil of his arm, parrying the Corruptor's slam. The enemy's claws were so hard that they even sparked faint sparks on the shield with the sound of metal clashing.

I can't smash the claws without seeing the enemy...... With the help of air current, the knight swung his long sword in the air, and immediately bent the arm holding the shield, and flicked the enemy's onslaught above his head. At the same moment, another giant claw swung with the sound of the wind, striking the knight's unprotected chest.

Nearly losing his center of gravity by this startle, the knight hurriedly crossed his sword to block the other claw. However, the claws on top of his head that pressed against the shield suddenly began to increase continuously, gradually pressing on Anusen's waist. After holding on for a few seconds, he finally couldn't bear the weight of the pressure, and was slammed to the ground by a sudden heavy slap. The sword also fell, and the corruptor kicked it several meters away.

With three gunshots, an arrow simultaneously shot from high in the air, causing the claws that had been struck at high speed to suddenly swing in the opposite direction due to pain. This timely aid caused the knight to put down the amulet in his hand and defend himself without sending a shockwave. Roaring in pain, the enemy pulled out the arrow in his arm, picked up his claws again, and slammed them into the knight. Knocked to the ground, the knight touched the ground, rolled on instinct, and dodged the fatal blow.

Just after escaping, the knight's heart was beating wildly, but he immediately calmed down, and half-crouched up with his shield propped up. At this moment, Lucina, who had been jumping to her feet in a hurry because she couldn't help, hurriedly picked up the long sword that fell to the ground, raised her weapon with both hands, and threw it to Anusen desperately: "Catch it, knight!"

In order to conserve lung capacity and have no time to say thanks, the knight caught the weapon that had been thrown and clenched it in his right hand. His expression grew grim, and he glanced at Lusa worriedly as he stepped back in a vigilant stance: she was clutching the twin guns she had just used to cover herself, gasping for air. The girl who was in tears because of the pain had been lifted up by her sister and carried out of the road. The mad dog still seemed to be so cold that he was about to lose consciousness, and immediately hugged Lucina, who was radiating warmth.

"Knight, be careful yourself!Lusa's guns are useless when they're far away, and now only Cyberdat can support you!" shouted in an extremely worried tone, Lucina shook the bushes in hatred: "On the premise of saving your life, try not to use a long sword!

What plan do you have to do if you can't save your life? If it's possible, I certainly hope that the operation will go as planned. It's just that the rest of the monsters don't seem to be trying to escape, but have decided to fight us here...... If you have to, you have to kill it.

If it weren't for the Ranger's help, the situation would have deteriorated dramatically. I don't know what spell he used just now, but he actually made the enemy appear for dozens of seconds...... I wonder if he will be able to release it again?Adjusting his breathing, the knight did not manage Aya at all, but focused all his energy on anticipating the attack of the invisible enemy.

After smashing through a whopping four consecutive claw strikes, the knight's expectation was realized. The same green wind bomb as last time swept through the air current, smashing into the ground at a rapid pace. To his surprise, however, the elf seemed to have taken another position - judging by the trajectory of the wind bomb, he ran to another tree closer to the battlefield and crouched like an agile monkey.

The spiral-shaped whirlwind burst out suddenly, and although the wind speed on the outside of the vortex was not high, it relied on its unique magic to successfully block the cold wind outside. The snow mist was blown away in an instant, and the tall bodies of the enemy were slowly exposed to view, and after a few moments, they were completely out of the protection of invisibility. Buoyed by the success of the last time, the knight excitedly raised his shield and launched a rare assault on his own initiative.

It won't last long, but it's a fair duel...... Pressing with shield charges one after another, the knight controls the pace, which is likely to make the attack oppressive and impactful: if the plan is to be realized, the enemy's desire to fight must be thwarted. As long as you preemptively strike in this limited time, you can force it back after a close attack, forcing it to take the initiative to leave the range of the air flow and re-enter the snow fog to escape, provided that you are threatening enough in these tens of seconds.

Don't show the slightest cowardice, or everything will be in vain. No matter how flawed this offensive is, it must seize this last opportunity......

With that in mind, the Cavaliers began to attack desperately, giving up most of the defense around them. Saving as much of a sword as possible to cut off the claws until the last moment to frustrate the enemy's fighting spirit, Anusen pressed closer, smashing the oncoming enemy back with explosive shield force, and then quickly condensed the divine power to enchant the shield, and stooped to the ground without a word.
