Chapter 987: Accidental Injury

The Ministry of Magic ordered Dorelos Jane Umbridge (Supreme Prosecutor) to replace Albus #83; Dumbledore becomes the headmaster of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

It is signed as in Article 28: Cornelius Osward Fudge.

The news had spread throughout the school the night before the Ministry of Magic had issued its order, but they did not explain why everyone in the castle seemed to know that Dumbledore had defeated the two Aurors, and that the Supreme Prosecutor, the Minister for Magic, and his young assistants were on the run.

Regardless of where the parties were in the castle, the only topic of conversation was Dumbledore's escape, but some details may have been missed over and over again (Van Lin overheard a second-year girl confidently saying that the other Fudge was now lying at St. Munck's Hospital with a pumpkin on his head). It's a joke, the Minister of Magic is hurt, and Dumbledore doesn't hurt them. )

In fact, Van Lin wanted to leave Hogwarts with Dumbledore that day, but the bad thing is that the list is in Umbridge's hands, and if he leaves directly with Dumbledore, then Umbridge's anger will definitely be spread on Hermione's heads.

Naturally, the few people in Van Lin were still honestly in the Gryffindor Tower.

What is amazing, however, is what the rest of the accurate news is.

Everyone knew, for example, that Harry, Van Lin, and Marida were the only students who had seen this in Dumbledore's office, and that Marida was now in the hospital, and naturally, Van Lin felt that he was surrounded by an invitation, and people wanted to know the first-hand description.

But fortunately, Harry is still there, he can hide completely, anyway, except for classes, usually Van Lin is also soaked in the room of requirement.

He was perfectly capable of avoiding being discovered, but that was a pain for Harry.

Never underestimate the exuberant curiosity of the crowd around you.

Harry had told the story at least ten times, and even so, there were still plenty of people asking along the way.

"Dumbledore will be back soon," Thomas said confidently on his way back from the herbology class, after he had listened intently to the story Harry had repeated over and over again.

"They didn't kick him out when he was in 2nd grade, and they can't this year. The fat friar told meโ€”"Thomas conspiredly lowered his voice, so several men had to come closer to him," โ€”Umbridge had tried to enter his office last night, after they had searched the whole castle to find him. She couldn't get past the monster, and the headmaster's office was cordoned off on its own. โ€

Ernie smirked. Of course, she lost her temper quite normally. โ€

"Oh, I hope she's sitting in the Headmaster's office fantasizing," Hermione said maliciously as they were walking up the stairs to get back to the Great Hall. "Ruling over all the other teachers, stupid pride, crazy old-"

"Now, do you really want to finish your words, Granger?" Decora Malfoy appeared behind the door, followed by Carat and Goyle.

He was pale, with malice on his pointed face.

"I'm afraid I'm going to deduct some points from Gryffindor and Hufflepuff," he said lazily.

"Only teachers can deduct the house's scores, Malfoy," Ernie said immediately.

"Hah, we're prefects too, remember?" Ron snarled. "I know prefects can't deduct points, Weasley," Malfoy said with a sneer. Crabbe and Goyle snickered.

"But the members of the questioning teamโ€”" Hermione said sternly.

"Inquiry team, Granger," Malfoy said, pointing to a tiny piece of silver, "behind the badge of my gown superior, at the will of the Ministry of Magic, the best students hand-picked by Professor Umbridge." Anyway, the members of the inquiry team can deduct points, so, Granger, I'll deduct 5 points from you for insulting the headmistress. Ernie, 5 points deducted because you contradicted me. Deduct 5 points because I don't like you, Potter. Weasley, your shirt is apart, so another 5 points are deducted. Oh yes, I forgot, you're a mudblood, Granger, so deduct 10 points. โ€

"You should be mindful, Malfoy. Van Lin stepped forward and squinted at Malfoy.

In fact, it's been a long time since anyone has dared to call Hermione that, and the previous one ......

"No, Van Lin. Hermione took Vanlin's arm with her hand.

"Clever moves, Granger," Malfoy gasped. "New Headmaster, new era, be nice, Al, this is not the time for you to be tough, and of course, to your Potter and Weasley. โ€

"Do you really think so?" said Van Lin in a deep voice.

"Or, what do you want, Al, blatantly violating the rules of Hogwarts?"

"It's not Hogwarts rules!" Harry said.

"Oh no, it's Potter now, you're going to have to figure it out. Malfoy said with some arrogance.

"Looks like you guys are still living in a dream, let me do the math, blatantly violating the law enforcement team, talking about the new Headmaster of Hogwarts, Miss Umbridge, and ...... behind your back"

"What else?" said Van Lin nonchalantly.

Carat and Goyle laughed silly in the back.

"Are you going to cooperate, Al, but it seems a little too late. Malfoy said, "Let me do the math, and Gryffindor will be deducted fifty points for these counts." โ€

"Fifty points?" Ron exclaimed, in fact, no one but Snape had ever deducted such a large number of points.

"Yes, that's right, fifty points. Malfoy smiled, then turned to leave.

"Oh no, I think you miscalculated the score. Van Lin said.

"The extra score is that I don't like you to see it. โ€

"I'm not talking about that, I'm saying that there should be 50 points to be deducted in addition to that. โ€

"Fifty points?" Malfoy wondered, but he laughed.

"I'm afraid you're not crazy, but, since you're hoping to deduct an extra fifty points, of course I don't mind accommodating your request, or can you help me think of a reason?" Malfoy asked mockingly, looking like he was asking for Van Lin's opinion.

"Ignore him, Van Lin, let's go, we don't need to be angry with him. Hermione advised, "Otherwise, Umbridge will definitely get us in trouble." โ€

"There's no way to avoid it, Hermione. Van Lin said quietly, and then turned his head to Malfoy.

"Actually, since I've brought it up, I'll naturally help you think of a reason......" Fan Lin paused, "So, how about using magic in the hallway and accidentally hurting the flowers and plants?"
