Section C Chapter 4: The Robber - Part II (Anusen)
Acting at about the same time as the mad dog, Anusen drew his sword and slashed at the bandit who had turned around and had not yet raised his short sword.
The sword cut a deep wound in his chest, and blood spurted out. The enemy fell to the ground, screaming terrible.
In order to relieve him of his pain as soon as possible, the knight lowered his body slightly and quickly swung his long sword, delivering the final blow to the enemy.
Removing his shield and holding it in his left hand, the knight lifted himself and glanced to the right: the mad dog was putting his left foot on the bandit's waist and kicking it hard. With this kinetic energy, the blood-stained long sword that pierced the throat deeply came out.
The robber with a pained expression let go of the sword in his hand and fell to his knees, his hands clutching his throat tightly at the bloody hole that was rapidly gushing with blood. In less than two seconds, he fell straight to the ground.
The four robbers crouching next to the gold bag were stunned for a moment before they reacted, and they all raised their weapons in anger. The leader was so angry that he shouted, "Damn, you don't have to go alive, you have to come to die! Since you killed my two younger brothers, don't try to escape! Go up together and kill them!"
With his shield in front of him and his sword straight to his shoulders, Anusen lowered slightly, ready for the attack.
"Who the is going to run away?!" Ceresya shouted, "Come on, you gangsters, grandpa will teach you how to cut people!"
"Two against one, on!" the leader spat on the ground, and took the lead in picking up a big axe and rushing at the two.
"Don't show mercy, knight—but, remember to leave the dagger behind! I'm going to shove an arrow into his asshole and kill him!" the mad dog flicked his sword, and the blood of the blade fell to the ground.
"I can't guarantee that. Anusen frowned, raised his shield to block the spear that stabbed two steps away, and then sideways to dodge the slashing axe.
Both of them are two-handed, long-range attack weapons...... The knight took a few steps back, staring warily at the two enemies he was dealing with: a spear and a two-handed axe...... In this way, you can simply close the distance with the enemy and expose the shortcomings of their weapons.
Seizing the moment of a brief confrontation with the enemy, Anusen glanced in the direction of the mad dog: Seresa was constantly dodging the swing of his two-handed sword, while the dagger with the dagger kept trying to sneak up on the dog's back. Apparently noticing this, the mad dog's swift action completely left it with no chance.
It seems that I don't have to worry about accidentally killing the man with the dagger, I just need to remember to stop Celesa from actually sticking the arrow into his ass...... Thinking of this, Anusen sighed in his heart: if any of these robbers tried to escape, he would stop the mad dog from pursuing him—according to his character, he would definitely hunt down everyone.
Turning the momentarily distracted attention back to the moment, the two enemies in front of him attacked on either side.
The enemy on the left stabbed twice in a row with a spear, all of which were blocked by a metal shield that tightly protected their bodies. At this moment, the heavy axe on the right slashed in a great arc. Flicking off the spear that stabbed again, the knight turned sideways and swung his shield violently, smashing it into the heavy axe.
Accompanied by the pain caused by the traction of the left arm, a dull and violent metal impact suddenly appeared. Due to the tremendous force exerted by both sides on this blow, both men were visibly slightly knocked back by the reaction force.
Before the bandit leader could gain a foothold, Anusen swirled his shield and smashed the spear that stabbed at him. As the weapon was broken, the robber took two steps back with a pale face. Seeing that the knight had no intention of killing him, he immediately fled with a scream and rushed into the bushes.
"Fuck, come back to me!" the leader stepped back, angrily shouting at the fleeing bandits.
"If you want to run away, I won't stop you. Glancing sideways at the two robbers, exhausted and panting by the mad dogs who were constantly dodging, Anusen raised his shield and stood still.
The leader didn't reply, but picked up his axe again in exasperation. With a sigh, the knight had no choice but to raise his sword and prepare for the onslaught.
Bending his left arm at ninety degrees, holding the shield close to his chest, the knight fended head-on against the heavy axe that slashed horizontally. Immediately, he raised his arm again, fending off another heavy blow.
Flicking away the heavy axe slashing at his shield, the knight slammed his shield into the leader. This rapid dash at close range caused the enemy who had just swung his weapon to have no time to balance his waist and staggered backwards.
Seeing that the enemy was exposed, the knight began a fierce attack. Anusen raised his shield and slammed his foe in the chest three times in a row, holding them back from his movements. At the final finish, the knight slammed into the enemy's head with a quick and small slash. After a dull thud, the fainting bandit leader collapsed to the ground, his axe falling.
Relieved, Anusen thrust his sword back into his waist and turned to look at Mad Dog.
"I haven't looked at you for a while...... You've solved it here, huh?" Anusen looked at the two motionless corpses at the mad dog's feet in shock: "Wait, you killed them both?"
"No, no, no. Seresa waved her hand proudly: "Just stabbed one to death...... Didn't I say that? Shove the arrow into that one's ass. How can you not keep him alive first?"
"You'd better forget it. Anusen frowned: "I see that you also taught him a good lesson, and this time it will be good." ”
"You actually said that it was just that?" Mad Dog snorted, "Heh, but it's okay...... Since I didn't hurt Lao Tzu, I won't kill you -- if you hear it, get out of here! Don't pretend to be dead in front of grandpa!"
Seresya kicked the "corpse" hard, and the "corpse" "rubbed" to its feet with a frightened expression, and turned to run away. However, he was grabbed by the mad dog and carried back to him.
"Yo, are you in such a hurry to run?" Mad Dog's expression suddenly became extremely vicious, making the robber shudder: "Lao Tzu let you live, plus you also shot my purebred Tomeca plains horse imported from the Sixteenth World - how should you compensate me?"
"Hey, cocoa...... But I didn't—" The man trembled, as if he was about to cry.
"Huh? Why didn't I hear you clearly. Cereya pressed the red-dyed sword to the robber's neck: "Two choices." One: Let me stick that bolt into your asshole, and two: Hand over all your money. If you don't answer, I'll default to your choice. Come on, give you three seconds to choose. ”
"Three, two......" Mad Dog quickly starts counting, which doesn't give reaction time at all: it looks like he's leaning towards the default option.
"One, one, I'll pick one!" the man cried out in fear. Mad Dog said with a bored "cut": "Then hurry up, all the valuable things will be left for Lao Tzu." ”
"That's it...... That's all. I swear. The man hastily untied a small cloth bag from his back and handed it to Seresya.
"Uh-huh......" Mad Dog examined the contents of the cloth bag, then kicked the other man over, and pulled the other cloth bag from his jacket before he fell to the ground.
When he opened the cloth bag, Mad Dog opened his eyes and laughed: "That's right, damn it--you dare to lie to Lao Tzu! Uncle, I am also the one you can deceive? Get up and get out of Lao Tzu!"
The man scrambled to his feet and fled, and Ceresya laughed happily.
"Alright, enough time delays. Let's go. Picking up Selesia's purse on the ground, Anusen sighed, "Come and help me drag this fainted robber to the side of the road." ”
"What the hell is going on? just take the valuable stuff from him. Seresa snorted disdainfully: "I have to touch all these corpses quickly to see if there is any money...... That's not ......."
The sound of horses' hooves was also heard, and the knight looked behind him: several patrolling cavalry were rushing straight to this side.
