Chapter 130: The Crew
"What?! "That's impossible. What do you want to do, do this to yourself!"
He had no reason to say that. He has proof of his title. He was the first to reach level 25 and get a class, and it was impossible for anyone to not only catch up with him, but even get another 50 ranks.
Zach finally said, "Can you show me, I need to verify the facts." βγ
After explaining how to display the system's status screen or other menus, he quickly stared blankly at a small hover box.
[3γ Inevitability. Level 98]
The wise man was reluctant to share the entire list, but that line was what Zach needed, knowing that the wise man wasn't lying.
"Oh my God......" Zach could only mutter.
Countless questions suddenly flashed through his mind, the most important of which was how this was possible. The only explanation he could give was that these Dominators didn't start at the first level, as they had already used cosmic energy before they integrated. He didn't really know what was going on in that case, and the letter didn't say anything. It does, however, mention that sometimes the aggressor encounters extremely strong resistance.
As for titles, they are either split between races like the ladder, or the old breed does not qualify for them. Zach could only hope that it was the latter, because if the Dominator was a 100-level electron-level authority, it would be bad enough. If they also have the title of "number one", and all the big percentage bonuses, they might as well pack up and find a way to get out of the planet.
Level 100 is no joke. This is a full 25 levels, exceeding the bottleneck by 75. Because they're actually past the bottleneck, which means they all now have Daozi and E-class. Not only that, but each level of improvement after the bottleneck is much greater than before. They will be in a completely different alliance, like the beast, like the demon wolf he fought earlier, who has just passed the threshold.
If you combine this fact with the extremely powerful body that the leader seems to have, this makes for a truly terrifying image. He wasn't under any illusions that he could beat his opponents in a 100-level match, especially without considering their talent.
With such a large force, they are even more threatening than an invasion. After all, they don't just possess terrifying personal powers, they also have a giant cheese hive filled with passionate warriors who are happy to rampage through anything with cosmic energy. He even suspects that many people simply don't know that they are following a so-called Juggernaut, because they are clearly hiding and waiting for time for some purpose.
"I think you understand my concern, human. I need to gather more information and hopefully we can warn other colonies.
Although it felt like a risk, Zach felt that he had no choice but to take Ibutep with him at this time. The wise man is right, and humanity needs to be aware of this fact. And a wise man who can really walk and talk will be much more effective than if he says it without any real evidence.
"Well, you can come. Talk to Adlan and take a piece of crystal for language skills [Book of Babel]. Otherwise, humanity will not understand your words. We'll be leaving in the morning in two days, so be sure to finish your report and go home before then," Zach finally relented.
These crystals are from different demons who bought it at the donation shop and then exchanged it with Adelan for relationship crystals or relationship coins. Since Zach considered this an extremely important skill, and Carllin was still unable to purchase a batch through the commercial system, he gave them a rather generous price.
"Oh, find a way to get the message to the beehive without anyone approaching. Very few people are willing to force themselves to go to the hive and leave a message like I did. We might be able to drop a message from the sky or shoot at them from far away," Zach added after thinking about it.
The next day was peaceful, as Zach spent most of his time just training, except for going back to his house for a bite to eat or watch a movie. The new building has a nice viewing room that looks like a luxury movie theater. In addition to the fact that there are large soft leather sofas, set in sets, and countless furs and pillows to create soft wolf fur. Unfortunately, it is difficult for him to relax in the face of new threats, even if his living conditions improve.
The day of the final auction came, and Zach was ready. This time he didn't wear shoes, as he didn't know what to expect when a blue gnome and a wise man walked through the portal, and he needed to be able to stop potential attacks.
He had given Zhike an armor that was defended by an inscription, the same one he used before he leveled up. As for the little dwarf, he was not so worried, as he was sure that many of the various items he wore were defensive treasures.
He said goodbye to a pensive Emei, she was angry, she was not allowed to go with them this time, and walked to the camp. Everyone else was already waiting outside the teleportation building, and the wise man put on his huge backpack again, instead of using the cosmic bag.
It's not the first time he's done this, when Zach asks why Ibert first explained that his snacks can't go into the bag when they're fresh.
"I've heard that there's something exciting going on. "Count me," Zach suddenly heard the building's shadow condense into a familiar one.
Zach had a headache when he saw the youkai appear with an excited face.
"I thought you were busy training," Zach could only sigh.
"It's all over. I can't leave all the fun to you and that little blue bastard," he sneered, and Carllin's reaction was that Zach could only assume to be offensive.
"What about your identity?"
"I got a report from Ilvi. It's said that there are four worlds that have been disrupted, right? So why shouldn't there be a fourth species? I'll just say that we don't spawn on your continent because we prefer hot climates. This should dovetail with your old description of our demons' stupidity," Ogras said with a contemptuous wave.
Obviously, nothing can detract from his joining the entertainment industry.
"Hello, Demon Leader. I'm Ibet, a think tank ambassador. Would you like a snack?" said the wise man suddenly as he walked up with a large wriggling larva in his hand. "Just caught. β
"Nice to meet you, I'm Ogras. "It's a fruit you won't find in this world, give it a try," the demon replied, pulling something ugly from his cosmic sack.
The fruit looks twisted, shrivelled, and has a pungent smell. What's more, he'd never seen anything put in his mouth. He suspects it's a prank Ograsla, in response to insect feeding, but apparently the wise don't mind. Soon the two of them were munching, and Zach didn't know who he was going to be nasty to.
"Well, Ibutep, why do you keep giving people ...... Zach couldn't help but ask, as Ibutepu and his larvae began to be the talk of Port Atwood.
"I learned it from the anointed ones who came before me. "If you need to make a good impression and give them a snack, they'll be more receptive afterward," it said, with a hint of pride in its eyes, and Zach had to admit that there was some truth to that, even though it might need to change what was considered a snack.
Zach silently looked at his team representing Port Atwood and couldn't help but sweat. He wasn't sure if the team looked like an alien invasion or a traveling circus. All they needed was Calentel, the creator's foreman with terrifying spider legs, to complete the image. Sicong seemed to understand what he was thinking, and could only smile wryly and shrug.
Even if it's an alien, he doesn't want to bring more old fish in. Mr. Zhuang even had a facelift for the occasion and is now wearing clothes similar to the E-class robes worn by Zach. Of course, they do not have strong inscriptions.
Zach could only sigh, shrug his shoulders, and turn towards the camp.
"Wait a few seconds before going in. I've got to warn them or something. Don't do anything stupid," he said as he activated the array.
After a while, he was in New Washington again. To his surprise, he found himself in a different building than the one he had been in the last time. They moved the array from a claustrophobic windowless room to a huge hall.
For a moment, he felt like he was at the airport because there was a security checkpoint in front of him. There was a counter with thick bulletproof glass, and a person sat in the back. There were also quite a few soldiers walking around, and a tingling sensation told him that someone was pointing a gun at him from some hidden angle.
Before he could do anything, a man rushed at him.
"Mr. Munch, it's a pleasure to see you again. I'm Adam. "We areβ" The man began, but Zach was quick to say to him.
"Sorry to interrupt you, but please don't open fire on your soldiers. There are also people who arrive from Port Atwood, who are not human.
The man looked surprised, but he quickly turned around and shouted a few commands.
It didn't take long for the phalanx to flash again, and the teams arrived one by one. The first to come in was Mr. Zhuang, who gave the greeter a confused glance at Zack. However, with each new person appearing in South Africa, his eyes widened a little further.
The last to emerge from the portal was Ibutaipu, who looked around curiously until his eyes fell on Adam, who was staring at the strange gathering in amazement. There was no activity in the hall, and everyone watched the group cautiously, almost silent.
Without hesitation, the think tank resolutely went to Adam and asked many to turn their weapons on Ibutaipu.
"Hello, Human Leader. Would you like a snack?" he said, holding a large handful of wriggling food in his hand, and walked towards the frightened man.
Zach was quick to add: "This is Ibutaipu, he's part of Port Atwood, not an enemy. βγ
"Ahh "Hmm...... Well, welcome everyone," Adam hesitated to accept the big larva. "Excuse me, can you wait here? I'm not sure what to do when I encounter a new species. I need to contact my superiors. β
"That's good," Zach said, and led them to a nearby set of couches.
"What's the matter with these rules?" Ogras muttered angrily, but went with the others anyway. "It shouldn't be that complicated. If someone causes trouble after they arrive, kill them. If not, let them go. β
"Basic bureaucracy is the cornerstone of civilized society," Carllin said after glancing sternly at the devil. "Unlike you demons can understand, your star cluster is a lawless hell. β
Ogras didn't seem to mind, only grinning at the gnomes.
"What law do you need besides the law of the jungle?" he retorted.
The two have had a good relationship over the past few months, which left Zach unsure if they were good friends or bitter enemies. It was clear that the two were preparing to argue, but fortunately, something interrupted them.
Shortly after the group appeared, the teleportation array reappeared. They are all wearing high-quality gear, which Zach believes can only be purchased through the system, as he can spot fractals in different locations.
There were three of them, the first one was an elderly man in his 60s. However, he looked energetic, with sharp eyes and a straight waist. His beard and hair were carefully trimmed and even exuded a hint of aura. Everything about him is permeated with authority, and Zach guesses that he is the one in power before he falls. Either a famous businessman or a politician.
The other looked like a bodyguard, looking around cautiously. He also had a large shield strapped to his back, which Zach thought he could equip at a moment's notice if needed. When the man saw Zach and the others, his eyebrows furrowed, and he stood up slightly towards them.
His movements were ignored by the old man looking forward, but the last one noticed, a woman in her twenties. She is tall, more than 170 centimeters tall, and she seems to have an almost catly elegance. Her movements reminded Zach of the demon scouts he had fought a long time ago. She slipped like an eel and walked freely around the treetops as easily as she did on the ground. But the woman in front of Zach now gave him even a palpable sense of danger, far more than anyone he'd met so far.
She's beautiful, but not excessive. However, what she is most memorable for is her charming blue eyes. She looked curious as she looked at their strange group of people, especially Ogras and Carllin.
"Grandpa," the girl whispered, directing the old man's attention to Zach and his team.
His face changed for the first time when he saw Zach's motley crew, as he left the teleportation array. The people of Novowaszingen were well aware of these three men, because another deputy hurried up to them and wanted to show them the way.
However, the old man ignored the liaison and walked towards the sofa group.
