Ban on motorcycles: Nothing to do with the story
This article has nothing to do with the story, just recently came home and complained about the motorcycle.
The motorcycle is light and flexible, and can be used for patrolling, passenger and cargo transportation, etc., in addition to normal riding. Existence is reasonable, but this reasonable existence is forbidden. I love motorcycles, but I can only keep them at home, put them on the shelf, and forget that I still have a motorcycle. At that time, when I bought a car, there was news that the ban on motorcycles was going to be removed, and Xuzhou no longer banned motorcycles, yes, now Xuzhou can also ride motorcycles in specific places, but the county below Xuzhou is still banning motorcycles. I can't figure it out, and I can't figure out why I'm still running out of motorcycles.
In fact, according to the "Consumer Rights Protection Law", "Road Traffic Safety Law" and other laws and regulations, the ban on motorcycles in cities is an illegal and discriminatory policy, and the national level has never promulgated a ban on motorcycles, the ban on motorcycles seems to be only a local ban, saying a lot of high-sounding reasons, the main reasons I listed some: 1, motorcycles are too unsafe, 2, motorcycles disrupt traffic order, causing traffic congestion, 3, motorcycles have no rules, not easy to monitor, 4, riding motorcycles on the road looks chaotic, unsightly, 5, pollute the environment. These arguments may seem reasonable, but as society develops, and it has developed to this point, do these reasons still hold true?
First of all, motorcycles are too unsafe, admittedly, riding motorcycles is really unsafe, someone has made a statistic, according to the number of deaths per 100 million kilometers, the mortality rate of motorcyclists is 36 times that of people who drive cars. Yes, since you don't obey the traffic rules, you deserve to die, but since someone doesn't obey the traffic rules, you can have their driver's license revoked, or a high fine, whoever violates the law is responsible, the administrative detention and administrative detention, and the sentence should be shot. Or if there is strict management of motorcycles, why should I be forbidden to ride motorcycles? For example, since the state strictly cracked down on drunk driving, drunk driving has dropped by nearly 50%, isn't this the benefit of management? Or to improve the safety of motorcycles, it is mandatory to wear helmets and protective gear, which is also acceptable. If motorcycles are banned because they are unsafe, I can only do this, but because kitchen knives can hurt people, do you ban kitchen knives? Can you be convicted of rape because you have a long dick? This is called the presumption of innocence. Motorcycles are just a means of transportation, don't give it more meaning!
Second, motorcycles disrupt traffic order and cause traffic congestion, about which I will hehe, motorcycles are flexible enough, so they are also very arbitrary, and it is absolutely impossible to hinder the smooth flow of traffic. You should know that a two-wheeled vehicle needs to drive on the road is only about 1/10 to 1/3 of the road area of a car. Maybe many car drivers complain that motorcycles occupy motorized lanes for parking, but you only know that your interests have been violated, why don't you care about infringing on the interests of others, you must know that in China, there are far more non-motorized cars than motorcycles occupying motorized lanes. And many cars rely on their size, often forcing motorcycles to give way when overtaking in the wrong direction. Moreover, now when you are driving four wheels on the main road, on the intersection, and in the parking lot, have you ever thought that you are occupying the highway resources of the whole society? And because there are more cars, the red light time is getting longer and longer, and you are quite proud when you wait for the red light in the car, but why do we ride motorcycles, electric cars, and even pedestrians to wait for the longer and longer red light like you. It occupies the most social resources and pollutes the most, so I am embarrassed to come out and make irresponsible remarks.
Of course, there are no rules for motorcycles, it is not easy to monitor, and riding motorcycles on the road looks chaotic and unsightly, indeed, these are the real reasons for the objective existence, and we who oppose the ban on motorcycles do not quibble, but shouldn't these problems be managed by the road traffic department? Taxpayers raise law enforcers to let them serve the people, and when they encounter problems, they are directly banned instead of thinking about how to manage them well, which is not the attitude that a department should have. Some people say that riding a motorcycle will have a speeding biker, motorcycle robbery, etc., and there may be such things, but now cameras and other auxiliary law enforcement equipment are becoming more and more developed, and law enforcement can be enforced through video surveillance, and punishment is based on the license plate number. Or is it the sentence mentioned above, is it because kitchen knives can hurt people, do kitchen knives be banned? Motorcycles are just a means of transportation, and we should not give them more meaning! When something bad happens, we can't blame a machine, they have no thoughts, and if people have bad ideas, they always have a way to realize them.
Of course, there is also environmental pollution, which is even more nonsense, because of this reason, the most important thing to ban is not motorcycles but cars, and motorcycles are allowed to be produced by the state, and its pollution is within the scope of the state's permission. If a motorcycle could talk, it would be worse than a sinus moth. And if you really want to ban it, then it will be judged illegal from the national level, and then the sale and production will be banned, and you can't have a license plate or a driver's license. Is this done? It is simply unreasonable to produce motorcycles on the one hand and restrict all kinds of freedoms on the other. You can advocate and encourage the non-use of motorcycles, just like encouraging the ban on guns and drugs, and slowly deepen people's hearts, but it is unreasonable to ban them directly.
A decision like a ban is often not the most beneficial decision for society, but it must be the most unpopular and most affecting people's livelihood, so it should always be the last choice.
Choose.
