Chapter 31: Flying
The moon was almost overhead, and the silvery moonlight illuminated the earth, and Barred was by the window, looking out of the room, and even the outline of the trees could be seen in the distance. "It's time, let's go. ”
Adeline and Ilsutia were ready, and both girls wore short tops and trousers for mobility, as well as some change of clothes, and placed them in two small packages, one for Barred and Lucius. Adeline also went back to her room once, saying that there was something important to bring with her, which might come in handy when she escaped, and she put an envelope in her shirt and looked out the window, still a little hesitant. "Are we really going to do this?"
Instead of answering Adeline, Ilsutia looked downstairs. "If you fall from this height, you'll die, but we'll have to fly. ”
Lucius understood what Ilsutia meant. "You mean we're going to fly?" Lucius said as he walked to the window and looked down, then quickly retracted his head. "Oh my God, my legs are all weak. ”
Ilsutia looked at Lucius. "You can't go through the gate, Marosas must be watching over there, including the inn where you are staying, and we must get out of here before he knows it. ”
"But our horses are still in the inn, how can we run without them?" Barred shook his head, not knowing what to do.
"You can share my and Adeline's horses, although our horses are certainly not as good as yours, but it's okay to get out of here, and you can buy two more horses when you get to Cumberland. Ilsutia said, and then remembered something. "You're not going to leave your money bags at the inn, are you? ”
Lucius patted his waist. "Not really, I don't dare put the gold in the inn. ”
"Well, we don't have that much money to buy you horses. Ilsutia breathed a sigh of relief.
Lucius bent his knees, grabbed the window and looked down. "Are you really sure we can fly out? I think my head is dizzy. ”
Adeline surveyed Lucius and Bared's figures. "Both of you are strong, it will cost us a lot of mental energy, and there will be some struggle, but there should be no problem. ”
"Should it?" Lucius sat on the edge of the bed, gasping for air. "I think it's better to go out through the gate and find a place to meet you. ”
Ignoring him, Ilsutia walked over to the bed, whispered a spell in her mouth, and in a few moments her feet lifted off the ground and she leaned out of the window. "I don't use it often, but I haven't forgotten it. ”
"Not often?" Lucius groaned as he covered his face with his hands.
Ilsutia looked back at Adeline. "Who are you going to bring, Adeline?"
"I'm ......" Adeline gave a quick glance at Bared, who was staring at her. "I'll do it, you can arrange it. ”
Ilsutia smirked. "I want to ......"
"Wait! I don't want you to take me, I want Adeline!" Lucius hurriedly grabbed Adeline's hand like a straw. "I don't believe you, Ilsutya. ”
Lucius was really scared, ignoring Barrede's eyes that he was about to eat him, Adeline looked at Barred in embarrassment, and the mercenary had to shrug his shoulders. "So be it, he'll leave it to you, Adeline. ”
Barred reached out to Ilsutia, and the girl grabbed his hand, and a soft sensation came. "Put your left hand around my shoulder, this way. Ilsutia commanded Bared, and the mercenary was awkwardly close to the girl.
As Ilsuthia leaped outward, the two of them soared into the air, and Barred snapped his eyes shut, then slowly opened them again, and when he found himself hovering at the height of the fifteenth floor, he couldn't help but sigh at it. "It's amazing, can we just fly all the way to Durham like this?"
Ilsutia maintained her balance in the air. "Don't be delusional, even I can only fly a few miles alone, let alone carry such a heavy man. ”
Lucius screamed from behind, and Barred turned his head in annoyance to glare at him. "Don't scream, we'll all be done if we find out. ”
But Lucius ignored him at all, and kept waving his hands, seeing that Adeline was about to lose her balance under his influence. Suddenly, Lucius twitched all over, his head lowered, and Adeline glanced at him. "It's really troublesome, so I had to let him quiet first. ”
The four of them flew down the outer wall of the Mage's Tower, avoiding the windows that were still shining, and Barred was surprised to find that even after midnight, there were still quite a few windows with lights on. "Are they studying if they don't sleep so late?"
Ilsutia didn't look at the window, her attention was still focused on casting spells. "Yes, becoming a qualified mage is not as easy as you think. ”
"Adeline must be like that, too. Barred muttered to himself, and as soon as he finished speaking, he felt the hand holding his right side of the rib suddenly loosen, and his whole body leaned down to the right. Barreid's mouth opened wide in panic, but the little reason he had left kept him from shouting, hooked Ilsutia's left hand to exert force, pulled his body up, and his right hand grabbed Ilsutia's shoulder from the other side. Now that the two were facing each other, Barred was panting nervously, and the hot and humid breath sprayed on Ilsutia's face.
Adeline flew up to the two of them, looking at them at a loss. "What are you doing!
"No......" Barred adjusted his breath. "She hurt me!"
"I didn't!" Ilsutia quickly retorted.
"Then why did you let go of your right hand, I almost fell!" Bared shrank his head back, trying to keep his distance from Ilsutia.
It was at this time that Lucius woke up, and the first thing he saw was Barred and Ilsutia who were close together. "You ......" was only halfway through his words, his eyes inadvertently glanced at his feet again, fortunately the altitude they were at was already very low, Lucius did not shout, but he was also frightened, and quickly closed his mouth.
Adeline said coldly, "You guys just continue to make love here, let's go down." ”
Looking at Adeline's departing figure, Barred hurriedly stretched out his hand. "You're mistaken, Adeline, not what you think!"
Ilsutia smirked and whispered in Bared's ear, "You're mine, Bared." ”
Barred looked at Ilsutia in horror and was speechless for a moment, and Ilsutia hugged Barred again and chased after Adeline.
The horse was located in the garden of the mage tower, and there were no guards, and the four of them flew directly into it very easily. Adeline cast a fist-sized ball of light that illuminated the dark stable, with at least dozens of horses sleeping.
Adeline let Lucius down and walked towards her horse, Lucius' legs were still shaking, and he tapped several times before he could take a step. As soon as Barred stood on the ground, he immediately ran to Adeline's side, explaining without stopping, but Adeline ignored it, she found her mount and looked at Lucius. "Do you ride in front, I'm in the back. ”
Barred strides between Adeline and Lucius. "Okay, no problem, you can rest assured of my riding skills. ”
Adeline glanced at Barred and passed him. "Lucius, I'm asking you. ”
"I, I'm still a horse with Ilsutia, you see Barred is all with you. Lucius knew he had already hurt Barred once, and he couldn't do it a second time.
Adeline pursed her lips and handed the reins to Barrede. "Go up. ”
Barred had never felt the reins so beautiful as he did now, and he jumped on his horse and held out his left hand to Adeline with a gentle smile. "Come on. ”
Adeline snorted and placed her hand in Barrede's hand.
Just then, a hurried shout came from the entrance. "What people!"
