Chapter 6: The Miserable Girl
Amos and Jurania looked at each other puzzled, completely unaware of what was being sold in Fraser's gourd, when suddenly a gust of wind blew and Emir's screams rang out, followed by a muffled thud hitting the ground. Fraser slowly walked towards the half-dead Emili, who wailed between the corpses of the water spirits, no longer caring about the water spirits' dirty blood.
Fraser's sword pressed against the emir's throat, his eyes cold. "You only have one chance, I'll count to three, you'd better tell everything you know without reservation, or you'll be part of that rotten pile of meat, don't expect me to let you go, taking you to deal with monsters will only be a burden to me. β
Before she could figure out what was going on, Jurania shouted to Fraser, "Don't be impulsive, could you have made a mistake?" Amos grabbed her and shook his head slightly, the old witcher had already seen the abnormality of the emir, but he was not completely sure.
Fraser ignored Jurania, a cold voice coming out of his throat. "One, two, three......" His sword moved forward a little, the tip of the sword piercing the emir's skin, and a little red lingered down his neck.
"I said, I said!" Emir could not hold back any longer, and a handful of tears and snot erupted. "I'll tell you everything!"
Fraser withdrew his sword, tilted his head and clasped his hands in wait. The emir fell to his knees, agitated and incoherent. "They are thugs, devils, and they are a hundred times more tyrannical than the Dark Tide. Zancy is a good girl, she is so beautiful, gentle, kind, she is an angel in my heart, I often talk to her, I can only feel the meaning of life when I am with her, that time I will never forget. Why did they do this to her? Just because she was beautiful? They embarrassed her everywhere, and she endured it, and those damned beasts, they s** her, one by one, a whole dozen people, in that swamp, let her beg for mercy and scream miserably, but they were even more animalistic, and they ...... again and again."
The witcher also walked over, and Amos's voice was full of helplessness. "They killed her?"
"Kill, those cowards! They only dare to ** a weak woman, they threw Zancy in the swamp after venting**, I hurried over after I learned about it, but I only saw the ravaged unconscious Zanzi, her body was defiled and unshaped, her whole body was stained, I preferred that it was just the mud of the swamp. Emir propped his hands on the ground, painfully remembering. "I carried Zancy back to the village, hoping that she would recover quickly, she had woken up, but the nightmare had just begun. The news of her being ** spread throughout the village, none of those thugs came forward to admit their crimes, and none of the other men came forward to administer justice, even the village chief, my grandfather, only wanted to suppress the matter. Instead of comforting and protecting her, the women treated her as a **, insulting and slandering her at will, saying that she was a goblin, that she seduced those men and pushed all the sins on her. I tried to stand up for him, but I was immediately drowned out by the denunciations, and if my grandfather hadn't come out to protect me, I might have been beaten to death. β
"These scoundrels, if I were to kill them all!" said Jurania, gritting her teeth.
The emir's mood softened slightly, and the pace of his speech slowed down. In the end, Zancy had no choice but to leave the village, and the devils said that she was afraid of crime and ran away, obviously forced by them! I went after her and told her that I would leave here with her, and that I would protect her. But she refused, she told me that she was not running away and would not leave, that she wanted revenge and killed all the people in the village, but that she would not kill me, and that she wanted me to go back to the village to witness this moment. So I gave her all the money I had and went back to the village. β
"And then she started revenge?" said Amos, sitting aside to give his injured leg a break.
"That's right, at first I didn't know how she was going to take revenge as a weak woman, but when those ** scum disappeared one by one, I knew that there was no one to stop her. The emir slumped on the ground. Then came the women who insulted her, and finally the villagers who were indifferent to her, and those who tried to flee did not actually flee far, the water ghosts had already surrounded the village, but the people of the village did not know it, and thought they had escaped. β
Amos let out a soft snort. "It's really not a stay. β
"Of course!" Exil cried out in a sudden and emotional voice. "It's not a pity for those beasts to die, and even death for what they did can't compensate!"
Jurania stepped forward. "Have you turned to the village guards for help?"
"Guards, that thing has been gone since the Darktide War. "The voice of the emir is still very loud. "I thought that the Darktide War was over, and I could finally live my original peaceful and peaceful life, but I didn't expect that it would be worse now than it was during the Darktide War. At that time, at least everyone was working together to deal with the dark tide, and now there is no mortal threat, those officials in the city are busy rebuilding the town, how can they have the leisure to care about a small village like ours, even the guards retreated to the town during the war, and never came back after that, without the guards, the nature of those thugs finally broke out, and they would be so unscrupulous to do such evil deeds that people and gods are angry about!"
Jurania sighed. "It's a tragedy, Zanesi is blinded by hatred, and so are you, Γmile, it's a point of no return, Zanesi has gone too far on the road, and you still have a chance to turn back. β
"It's impossible, I can't wait to kill those scum with my own hands!"
Amos's voice rang out again. "How did Zancy kill those people? Could it be that the swamp banshee we deduced was her?"
Jurania tilted her head in thought. "Anger can make people lose their minds, but it's inconceivable to go from an ordinary girl to a swamp banshee, even if there are too many strange facts that have happened to Wallis lately, it's too hard to understand. β
"I don't find it strange that whatever happens after the Dark Tide War. Fraser, who had been silent for a long time, finally spoke, and he looked at the emir. "I guess Zancy is not far ahead, and you don't know if she's going to keep her mind when you see her now. β
"What do you mean?" said the emir, looking up in confusion.
The corners of Frazier's mouth curled. "It seems that you don't know what a banshee looks like, and I'm curious who turned her into a banshee, but it's okay, you'll find out later, and you'll be able to meet the lover of your dreams. β
Jurania glanced at Frazier in disgust, and said dissatisfiedly, "Why do you still have the heart to say such things at this time? β
Fraser turned his head sideways and looked at Jurania silently, just a few seconds, it made Jurania feel a chill rise from the bottom of his heart, but fortunately Fraser looked away and walked towards Amos. "How's your legs, can you still fight?"
Amos stood up with his body propped up, stomped on the ground with his injured foot, and then hissed to stop. "If this injury were an ordinary person, the leg might be useless, the witcher's ability to recover much faster than ordinary people saved this leg, but it will take two or three weeks to heal, and I can't help it, so I can only try not to become a burden to you. β
Fraser snorted and looked at Yurania, who was standing aside. "Depart in five minutes, you take care of Emos. β
Jurania raised an eyebrow. "You mean you're dealing with the swamp banshees alone?"
Fraser crouched down and fastened the leggings. "And the guy who turned her into a swamp banshee. β
