The first three volumes were finished
Volume III
"Nightfall" ends, and the first half of the whole story is over, everyone has gone through a series of events, overcome many dangers, and survived again and again on the edge of life and death by relying on their courage and sense of survival, of course, relying on some luck, but the result still failed to prevent the dark lord from being released.
It's similar to our lives, it seems to be a bright future, but it's just another pit, and you never know how big the next pit will be.
After the third volume, I am going to write some biography, and according to the results of the vote, a biography with Barred as the protagonist is already being written.
The side story will be in a more relaxed style than the main story, and the plot will be much simpler, with some short events as the theme, and some stories that are not mentioned in the text will be briefly supplemented.
For example, how Barred met Adeline, and how their relationship had changed. The Gaiden is for entertainment and relaxation, so although the world in the story is still Wallis, it will be much more harmonious and bright than in the text, and the dialogue between the characters will be more witty and humorous.
After the first biography was written, I didn't have any plans for the time being, if I had time, I would write a second biography featuring Fern, and if I didn't have time, I would pause for a while.
Regarding the fourth volume, I don't know if anyone else is interested, I have thought about it a little bit before. Since the Lord of the Darkness has descended on Wallis, humanity will face a great crisis, the southern countries are in the midst of war, fighting to survive, and the northern countries are also tired of dealing with the constant attacks from outside the northern mirror.
Our protagonist and his party will continue their adventures in this dire situation, trying to find a way to seal the Dark Lord back together.
During the adventure, because the humans of Wallis knew that the threat of the Dark Lord was imminent, the towns and villages they passed through were no longer as prosperous as they used to be, and people were in fear all day long, not knowing when their lives would come to an end, so all kinds of robbers and thieves were rampant, and the human world fell into chaos.
The mood of Volume 4 will take a turn for the worse, trying to convey the feeling that the end of the world is near, with people struggling, including Fern and his party, and despair grappling over Wallis.
