When Thousand Nights returned to Valhalla, Carol was already waiting at the hatch and asked, "Is everything going well?"

"Of course. The wolf king is not a fool, he knows what to do. ”

"Isn't it possible to pull him to our side? I mean, true allies. ”

Qianye shook his head and said, "No. Until now, we have not been able to figure out the true purpose of the Wolf King, or even why he appeared in a neutral place. In such a situation, a hasty alliance would be extremely risky. At least for now, I can't trust him. ”

Carol smiled and said, "Then why do you trust me so much, and give me some of Valhalla's permissions?"

Qianye didn't know how to answer for a while, so she said a few words, trying to get by. Of course, there are many reasons, in the battle of the floating land, Carol guarded Valhalla without fear of casualties, and did her best, and her comrades-in-arms who had passed through life and death were naturally reliable allies.

However, Qianye himself said that he had a little bit of a weak heart that came from nowhere, and at this time, he couldn't see Carol's mind anymore, that was really stupid. It's just that Qianye has been reluctant to blow away this layer of fog, and would rather this matter never be revealed.

Carol's eyes flashed with a hint of loss, and then she cheered up and said, "It's good that you trust us." In this case, let's go back to the Frost Thunder Temple first, and I'll mobilize some more people to help. I think the temple guards could be at least two-thirds of them divided and follow our movements. ”

"It couldn't be better!" said Chiyaki.

The personal guards of the Frost and Thunder Temple, all members are deacons, and they need to be at least equivalent to the cultivation of the Terran war generals to be able to serve. This is the accumulation of the temple for many years, the essence of the entire family, until now, there are only more than ten members of the Frost Thunder Temple's personal guards. Carol transferred two-thirds, which is equivalent to adding seven or eight strong generals to Qianye.

Qianye walked towards the bow of the ship, and when he passed by the gun bay, he suddenly remembered something, stretched out his hand and patted a ballista next to him, and said, "Remove this." ”

This ballista is more than ten meters long, and the giant crossbow placed on it is also several meters long, which is so powerful that you can tell at a glance that it is the main gun of the cruiser class. But as soon as Qianye slapped it, he flicked it, and there was a dull sound of thumping where it landed, not metal at all, but wood.

Several fighters came over, lifted it with all their might, and even lifted the huge ballista and dragged it to the lift. They are light on their feet, and they don't feel strained at all. When the ballista was raised, the wood grain was exposed under the base. This so-called main gun turned out to be a model carved out of wood.

"Withdraw now, but it will be seen by the wolf king. Carol reminded.

Qianye smiled: "It's for him to see." ”

"I really don't understand you. Carol shook her head and went back to her cabin.

And Qianye commanded the crew and soldiers, removed the camouflage of the door model, and returned it to the warehouse.

In the ancient totem battle castle, the wolf king had just sat down in the study when he heard a sudden sound of footsteps, and a young priest pushed the door in and said, "Great chief, you'd better take a look at this." ”

Seeing that he was anxious, the wolf king did not blame him for the faux pas, and quickly climbed up the main tower of the castle with the priest and looked up. At this moment, Valhalla is slowly climbing, and with the eye of the wolf king, he can see that a ballista on the side of the secondary gun position is disappearing. The wolf king was so clever that he could understand what was going on with a little thought.

In the blink of an eye, most of the gun emplacements were empty. Dozens of ballistae and ballistas, which were originally densely arranged, were nearly half of the terrifying firepower of the cruiser-class, but now there is only one cruiser main gun and five destroyer main guns, which are not even a fraction of them.

The werewolves on the ground who could see this scene were all pale, who didn't know that they had just been tricked by Qianye?

The priest gritted his teeth and said, "How dare you lie to us! No matter what he just asked, as long as we go and serve Nanqingcheng, let's see what tricks he can play!"

The wolf king thought for a while, suddenly smiled, and said, "Don't worry about him, the cooperation with him will continue as usual." Inform our legion that from today onwards, no one is allowed to touch Nanqingcheng. So be it!"

The werewolf priest was dumbfounded and asked, "Great Chief, you saw with your own eyes just now, what did he do!"

The Wolf King said lightly: "Of course I saw it, and I know that he showed it to me." So, keep working together. ”

The sacrifice was puzzled, and instead of being angry, the wolf king's meaning was even more compromised. He could only go with doubts and convey orders, and in his heart he thought that he would go to the Great Priest's side immediately after finishing his work and ask for advice, otherwise he would probably not be able to sleep tonight.

Nanqing City is busy. Whether it is expanding the army or preparing for war, Dark Fire is a big move, and every move affects the hearts of countless people with hearts.

On the top floor of a tall building in Nanqingcheng, several people stood in front of the window, overlooking the mercenary drill on the dark fire school field in the distance.

The dark fire was originally built in Nanqing City, and many facilities were directly exposed to the noses of others. A place like the school field is not important in Song Zining's eyes, and it is not particularly closed.

On the school grounds, about 3,000 recruits are divided into teams and are training. The school field is not very large, and as soon as thousands of people are placed, it feels crowded. On one side of the school grounds, thousands more recruits have completed their initial training and are registering to receive equipment and weapons.

There are several high-powered binoculars on the top floor, and the two old men are each putting their eyes in front of a telescope. The telescopes have a clear field of vision, and they can clearly see the types of weapons and equipment that the recruits receive.

Of course, the Force vision is good, but the Force scan is easy to attract the attention of the opponent's strong people, so most of the time, in a peaceful environment, various tools and instruments are easy to use and safe. It also shows how cautious the watcher is.

The two old men looked at each other for a long time, then put down their binoculars, led everyone downstairs, sat down in an airtight conference room, and carefully closed the door, only then did they breathe a sigh of relief. An old man sitting at the bottom said, "Brother Liu, what do you think?"

The old man in the center narrowed his eyes slightly, muttered for a long time, and said: "The weapons that Dark Fire equips recruits with are relatively common weapons, which can barely be regarded as high-quality, but as far as the old man knows, it is still one line behind the standard equipment of the main army of the empire. Some of the larger mercenary groups in the Neutral Land can't afford to use these equipment. To put it mildly, the 50,000 recruits recruited by Darkfire are equipped with such equipment, and the cost is equivalent to one of the main divisions of the empire. ”

Another person continued: "The batch of equipment that came a few days ago is really high-end, according to Dark Fire insiders, that batch of equipment is all customized equipment of the Imperial Elite Legion." It's just that the number is not much, it is said that the purchase quantity is only 2,000 sets, and half of it is in advance. ”

The old man surnamed Liu pondered: "That is to say, that Qianye will form an elite army similar to the Red Scorpion and the Broken Winged Angel, and the rest will maintain the level of a first-class mercenary group in a neutral place." ”

Many people nodded and said, "It should be like this." ”

They have been observing for a while, and after combining all aspects of information, they have guessed that they are already eight or nine.

After a while, someone finally broke the silence, "Then what should we do?"

This question caused a dead silence in the room. After a long time, the old man surnamed Liu in the center said: "Now it seems that it may be good to stand still." ”

At the moment, some people objected: "Then if he gains a firm foothold in Yonglu, won't his strength go further, and there is nothing he can do?"

The old man surnamed Liu sighed and said slowly: "The dark fire is growing, and no one wants to see it. But now we really can't do anything. Even if you want to fight, how to fight, and what to fight? Qianye's battle this time is bound to bring the elite and all the fleets with him. After the raid, did we only wipe out some ordinary mercenaries and steal some supplies? As you have seen, this kind of mercenaries can replenish tens of thousands of them in a month. ”

Although everyone has long known that this will be the conclusion, but when the time comes, they are still unwilling to admit it. They didn't expect that Thousand Nights would use most of their resources to build a small elite army, and the large army would still maintain the level of mercenaries in the Neutral Land.

One person smiled bitterly and said, "In that case, let's cancel the action plan." ”

"After working hard to prepare for January, how can you say that you will cancel it?"

"What if you don't cancel it, no one dares to do it in Qianye, he is gone and has no value. At that time, the most valuable thing in the whole Nanqing City was the Merchant Workshop, should we copy ourselves?"

"Isn't there still several workshops in Ningyuan Heavy Industry here?"

"Those workshops are all about producing simple parts and processing raw materials. The workshops where the engines were actually assembled were still on the territory of the empire. That batch of parts is valuable only in their hands, and in our hands it is nothing more than a pile of scrap metal. ”

At this point in the discussion, the conclusion is already clear. The old man surnamed Liu said: "The plan is canceled." Be careful, and don't show any signs on weekdays. ”

One person said unconvinced: "The gears produced in our workshop are also key components of the floating boat, and there are several models that only we can produce." Dark Fire still dares to offend us?"

"Without their orders, who will we sell the gears we produce?"

The meeting broke up unhappily, and everyone waited for a depressed group to leave.

A few days later, Qianye finally completed the preparation of the entire dark fire, and the huge transport fleet loaded with 12,000 mercenaries slowly rose into the air, and joined the escort fleet in outer space, preparing to sail to the land.

Before the Grand Fleet completed the formation, several high-speed floating boats had already set off in advance to contact the local area for response.

Afterwards, Valhalla, along with the battle patrol and some of the faster floating boats, carried the two thousand most elite warriors of the Dark Fire and set off first. The slow transport ship, along with the old warship, was carrying 10,000 ordinary mercenaries and slowly hurrying away.

In the Thousand Nights plan, these 10,000 mercenaries are there to maintain law and order and occupy territory, and there is nothing to do until morning.

Inside Valhalla, Thousand Nights is repeatedly confirming the list of elite troops. Among the two thousand people, there are the elites of the original dark fire, the surviving veterans of Baicheng, the top mercenary soldiers of the Gaohu people, the talents selected by Song Zining from the Ningyuan Heavy Industry Guards, and a few Frost Thunder Temple guards.

The composition of this army can be described as complicated, but if you want to form an elite army that can be comparable to the red scorpion and the winged angel, you can only do this, if you rely on the accumulation of dark fire alone, and do not absorb external elites, I am afraid that even half of the number of people will not be able to make up, not counting the time it takes for the growth of warriors.

Qianye has read the list several times, and she is almost ready to memorize it. However, a problem suddenly occurred to him, he had been busy for so long, and it seemed that he had not yet named this team.
