Chapter Ninety-Seven: The Shinto Key

In the palace of the general of the protector of the country in the capital, Liu Shu and I were drinking tea and chatting.

"I heard that one of the Han concubines of the regent Dolgon had Empress Xiaozhuang executed, and it was the most tragic torture in history. When I heard about people, I was dumbfounded. The regent of the Great Qing Dynasty covered the sky with one hand, why didn't he move at all?" I asked, taking a sip of my tea.

"Kyushu, in fact, this Han Concubine and Han General are both expedient measures for the regent to maintain stability, and they don't have much practical weight in the regent's heart. Although I was worshiped as the general who protected the country, in fact, it was the scene for the Han people all over the world to see, and the tiger talisman that really dispatched troops was still in the hands of the regent and the prince of the Eight Banners. You see that I usually act very low-key, and that Concubine Lan is indeed a troublemaker in the harem, and I don't know the depths. Think about it, all the old ministers and generals of Huang Taiji are here, even if the regent is in power, he can't kill all the old ministers of Huang Taiji in one go. Moreover, in my opinion, the regent has no intention of becoming emperor, otherwise he would have done it a long time ago. Maybe he is also afraid of being criticized by future generations. ”

"Hahaha...... is worthy of being a Taoist person, and the Taoist sees it so thoroughly. Admire! Admire!" I laughed.

"Everywhere, it's all here. Nothing is downplayed. Liu Shu said with a smile.

Suddenly, a guard came to report: "General Qiyu, the regent invites the general to go to the Summer Palace in one fell swoop, and prepare to welcome the Tibetan monk Cangyang Gyatso and his party!"

"Okay! Okay! Kyushu, at the invitation of Emperor Shunzhi, the Living Buddha is here, you are fine anyway, come with me! This prodigy is gifted and intelligent, chat with him a few words, maybe you can get some inspiration!" Liu Shu smiled as he got up and patted me on the shoulder.

"Hahaha...... It is said that the reincarnated spirit boy of the living Buddha in Tibet has great wisdom, and it is a blessing to be able to meet him!" I stood up and laughed.

Liu Shu and I rushed to the Summer Palace in a carriage, and the regent Dolgon, Empress Xiaozhuang, Shunzhi Emperor Fulin, Duoduo, Sony, Aobai, Ezhe, General of the Eight Banners, and others led a guard of honor of more than 3,000 people to greet them in the Summer Palace, waiting for the arrival of the Fifth * Lama and the Living Buddha Cangyang Gyatso in the Summer Palace.

We saluted one by one and stood at the edge of the line.

Duoduo quietly walked around from behind me and nudged me, and laughed, "Hey, the great poet, is here too." It is said that this poet and the Buddhist family are one family, which seems to be not false at all!"

I looked around at the listless ministers and smiled: "Hey, General Duoduo, since I was a child, Mr. Dordor, I was told that I was more wise, but I was too young to understand at that time, but now I understand." Maybe I'll be a monk in the future. Does the general know how long it will take for this living Buddha to arrive? I think some ministers are a little lazy when they arrive. ”

Duoduo leaned into my ear and whispered, "Great poet, I can't hide it, I have been standing here for a day yesterday, and I haven't seen anyone. A few days ago, the flying pigeon passed the book, and the little emperor sent the edict to the fifth * lama to send the edict and pearls, prayer beads and other rewards, and the Lama Chincha Nuomuqi also arrived in Yongtai City. The next day, the pigeons flew to report the arrival of Lutang, and the group of lamas stayed there for four days, preparing to give the little emperor a recital, tribute and other items, which were sent to the capital by the Lama Qincha Nuomuqi. Yesterday, my second brother and I didn't come over, and the news has to be reported that we should definitely arrive in the capital today. ”

"Hehehe...... It is not easy to come from a long way in the mountains and rivers! The opportunity is rare, and this time we must ask for advice and increase a little wisdom. I laughed.

"It's here!" Suddenly, someone couldn't help but raise their hands and shouted, and as far as we could see, the Fifth Lama* and the Living Buddha Cangyang Gyatso and his entourage led hundreds of people to rush in.

"The Imperial Father, the Regent, and the Queen Mother, it's really good! This time, I can ask the Fifth Lama to go over the undead who died in the battle of our Qing Empire, and I can also pray for the blessings of the people of the world!" Shunzhi Emperor Fulin turned his head to look at the regent and Empress Xiaozhuang.

"The emperor is benevolent, the Fifth * Lama and his entourage will definitely sympathize with the emperor's hard work, and the ancestors and ancestors will also be proud of the emperor!" Empress Xiaozhuang stroked Fulin's head and smiled.

The regent Dolgon patted Fu Lin on the shoulder and smiled: "Well! Yes! Fu Lin has grown up and knows how to pray for the blessings of the common people in the world!

"Long live my emperor, long live, long live, long live!, King Regent, Chitose Chitose!" and his entourage saluted Emperor Fulin of Shunzhi and Prince Regent Dolgon.

"Flat!" you have worked hard all the way!" Fu Lin said solemnly.

After the Fifth Lama and his entourage got up, they hurriedly presented the music table, tribute and other items to the emperor, and Fulin, Dolgon and Empress Xiaozhuang were the first to see the cordyceps sinensis and Tianshan snow lotus in this exquisite purple gold lacquer box, and they were pleasantly surprised and couldn't put it down.

"Your Majesty, Regent, Empress, this is the most famous Cordyceps sinensis and Tianshan Snow Lotus in Tibet. The Fifth Lama laughed.

"The Fifth Lama has a heart!" said Fu Lin with a smile.

"Hehehe...... The mourners can see the face of the Fifth Lama. As the saying goes, a person's face is a resume. The phase of the heart is not achieved overnight, but day after day, bit by bit, precipitation, such as a little bit of weathering, erosion, accumulation of nature, the formation of thousands of landforms. So, the older you get, the more obvious the connotation on your face. Seeing that the face of the Fifth Lama is so delicate, it must have benefited from the wonderful effect of Cordyceps sinensis and Tianshan Snow Lotus. Hehehe...... The mourning family thinks about it, these two treasures and our Jurchen deer placenta paste have a fight!" Queen Xiaozhuang took a Tianshan Snow Lotus to her nose and sniffed, and said with an intoxicated expression.

"The Queen Mother, sure enough, Shengming! Our Tibetan Tianshan Snow Lotus does have the effect of rejuvenating people, and Niangniang will know it as soon as she uses it!" said the Fifth Lama* with a smile.

"Okay!good!Thank you, Fifth Lama!" said Empress Xiaozhuang with a smile.

"Feast!" ordered Lord Regent Dorgon.

So a grand banquet was held in the garden of the Summer Palace to invite the Fifth Lama and Cangyang Gyatso and his party, because the banquet was mainly vegetarian because of the taboo.

The regent Dolgon and Fulin sat in the center, Empress Xiaozhuang and the Fifth Lama* sat sideways, and the others sat below. The little living Buddha Cangyang Gyatso has been silent and looks very introverted.

The whole banquet was very serious, and everyone quickly finished their meal, removed the dishes, and began to chat.

The Fifth Lama depicts how majestic the Potala Palace in Tibet is, how warm and beautiful the Tibetan sun and grasslands are, and how magnificent the snowy peaks and eagles in Tibet are.

Suddenly, the regent Dolgon took out the Tongshen Ding from his bosom and handed it to the Fifth Lama, and asked respectfully: "Fifth Lama*, this king has harvested this Buddhist Seven Treasures that are said to be able to open the door of Shinto, the Tongshen Ding, searched all the Buddhist scriptures, and visited the master of the capital, but he does not know how to unlock the mystery of this door of Shinto. Do you hope that the Fifth Lama will not hesitate to give advice and explain to this king?"

The Fifth Lama* held the Tongshen Ding, stared at the glow-green glow inside, and said with a smile: "Regent, Buddhism originated from Shakyamuni, the crown prince of the Kapila Kingdom, who was sleeping and dreaming under the Bodhi tree. There are three jewels in the Buddha realm: Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha, which are for great wisdom. Buddhism has seven treasures: gold, silver, amber, coral, clams, glass, and chalcedony. Get the three treasures and Cathay, get the seven treasures and the people are safe. It's the first time I've seen this Tongshending, and I don't understand. Cangyang Gyatso, you come and see. ”

Cangyang Gyatso took the Tongshen Ding in the hands of the Fifth Lama, looked at it twice, put it down, and said: "Regent, this Tongshen Ding is the seven treasures of Buddhism: gold, silver, amber, coral, clams, glass, and chalcedony are transformed by the heavenly fire in the Tianshan Snow Pool, which is an artifact of heaven and earth, and mortals cannot open it. ”

"Oh, the Living Buddha means that this king can't open the door to Shinto?!" said Dolgon.

"Listen to me, Lord Regent. "The Treatise on Great Wisdom" Volume Ten Clouds: 'The pearl comes out of the belly of the fish, the bamboo, and the brain of the snake. Buddhism believes that pearls are the only jewelry that grows out of the flesh, and can communicate with the Buddhas of the past and the Buddhas of the future. And the relics inlaid in this Tongshen Ding are the coral red pearls. The glowing green glow in this Tongshen Ding is born of the atomization of the glass in the high temperature of the heavenly fire, accompanied by the spirituality of the coral red beads, pulsating in it. My Buddhist Manjushri Bodhisattva is deaf and clear-sighted, wise and agile, is a person in Buddhism who is quick and wise, and the transparent ice glass is the power of Manjushri Bodhisattva, symbolizing the sober mind and supreme wisdom. "Medicine Master Liuli Light Rulai Wish Merit Sutra": May when I attain Bodhi in the next life, my body will be like glass, clear inside and outside, pure and flawless. That's what I mean. Cangyang Gyatso spoke eloquently.

"May I ask the Living Buddha, who is this enlightened monk?" asked Dolgon, stretching his neck.

"Liuli is a kind of personality, a spirit, a realm, and a great wisdom. The Central Plains attained the holy monk, sacrificed himself and passed away, and his merits were complete. Cangyang Gyatso bowed his head and folded his hands.

"Thank you for the teachings of the Living Buddha! The strange smile on Dolgon's face made Liu Shu and I, who were blinded, completely puzzled, because of the courtesy of the monarch and the minister, it was inconvenient for us to ask at the banquet.

At the banquet, the regent Dolgon, the Fifth Lama* and Tsangyang Gyatso chatted with relish about the customs and political and religious management of Tibet, and we quietly ate our own food, but these vegetarian dishes were delicious.

After the welcome banquet, the Fifth Lama* and Cangyang Gyatso stayed in the "Zen Forest" in the capital and stayed in Xi for two days.

Cangyang Gyatso walked through the Forbidden City and couldn't help but sigh: "The capital of the Qing Empire is really magnificent, and it has the style of the Yuan capital and far surpasses it!"

The Fifth Lama laughed and said, "Hehehe...... The city walls of Dadu are surrounded by white, yellow, and red layers, and the length of the east, south, west, and north sides of the outer wall is about a sharp distance, and the circumference is very wide, and the houses in the city are clustered. ”

Outside the gate of the inner city of the Imperial Palace, the Fifth Lama and Changyang Gyatso were holding the Seven Political Treasures and various ceremonial guards, such as weapons, flags, canopies, flying flags, etc., and playing many pleasant musical instruments, which were majestic and appreciative, which made General Liu Shu and I stop and forget to return.

"The demeanor of this living Buddha can be regarded as insight, I have to find a chance to ask about the matter of the Tongshending!" I scratched my head and wondered.

"Hmm, let's find a chance!" Liu Shu patted me on the shoulder and smiled.

On the second day, the regent Dolgon sent officials headed by the Ministry of Rites, Shangshu Jue Luo Langqiu, and the courtier Xi Dali of the Imperial Court to carry gold books and seals, and officially canonized the Fifth * Lama as "the Great Benevolence of the Western Heavens, the Buddha Leads the World to Enlighten the Teachings of the Ordinary Wachi Lama*Lama", and the purpose of the Fifth Lama's trip can be regarded as achieved.

I asked General Liu Shu to help send someone to keep an eye on me, and finally waited for the opportunity to consult the living Buddha Cangyang Gyatso.

One day, when Duoduo accompanied Cangyang Gyatso to the Temple of Heaven in Beijing, I thought to myself, "Poets and Buddhists have a soul, so why don't I sing a song to see if I can resonate with this living Buddha." ”

So I rushed to the Temple of Heaven, and when I saw General Duoduo and Cangyang Gyatso talking and laughing over, I held my poetry collection "The End of the Poetic World" in one hand, turned to the poem "Temple of Heaven", and walked over head-on, while burying my head in the "Temple of Heaven" and reciting "The Temple of Heaven":

I'm from Chang'an

My left hand is deeply imprinted with the letter of my ancestors

The blood of the children and grandchildren also sweated like rain and was thrown on this thick yellow earth

I use muddy black hands

Peel off the timeline of the annual rings

The deep eyes are full of memories of the ancestors about the granary

The morning bell and the dusk drum could not read the prayers of the great rivers

The crest of Taihang

Xuanyuan Yellow Emperor is a hotbed of gratitude

A long-term peace and stability

Call the ancient emperors for slaughtering pigs and sheep to get the Ganlin reward

The closest place to the sky

* The solemn image of the Son of Heaven

Win the joy of thousands of tulou couplets on the wind and rain

The wind of the Yellow River, the waves of the Yangtze River

Pious*

Earnestly walk on the Chinese "Book of Changes".

The leader recites the sutra diligently

Evict the wind and rain in the house

It seems that the shepherd's hands have driven away the stunned willows

The sunset of the empire

The echo of the Heavenly Heart Stone

The chant of the plateau trumpet

The wind groans in the warp turn

Spend the undead in a celestial burial witnessed by a goshawk on Mount Everest

The newborn sun

The high incense of the prayer hall

Fiery red sorghum on the side of the Silk Road

The power of Ansai's waist drum

In the triumphant song, the dragon, lion and phoenix dance are dancing in the new chapter of the prosperous era of the Tang Dynasty

When Cangyang Gyatso saw me reciting affectionately, he understood it and stopped to listen.

"Hahaha...... Great poet, what a coincidence!, are you also visiting the Temple of Heaven today?" said with a smile.

"Oh my God! You are also a poet, and you are also a fan of Liu Changchun, a Kyushu layman? He is not only my idol, but also my poetry teacher! This collection of poems "Poetic Tianya" is my favorite book in Tibet......" Cangyang Gyatso said in surprise as he walked over and flipped through the "Poetic World" in my hand.

"Living Buddha, I don't know! This is the Kyushu layman!" Duoduo patted Cangyang Gyatso on the shoulder, pointed at me and smiled.

"No, how is this possible? It's incredible! That life turned mountains and rivers into pagodas...... I finally met you...... My idol ......" Cangyang Gyatso looked at me, hugged me and choked up, his eyes glistening with tears of excitement.

"Amitabha, Amitabha, Buddha said, many things in life are unavoidable, those that are deliberately forced cannot be obtained, and those that have not been expected often come unexpectedly. Living Buddha, everything is fate and creation. I clasped my hands together and smiled, rejoicing in my wit.

"Yes, have a peaceful heart, follow the fate, go with the flow, do not take things for pleasure, do not be sad for yourself. The Kyushu layman turned out to be so talented and beautiful, and he was very similar to me ten years later. Cangyang Gyatso laughed.

"Oh, hahaha...... That living Buddha is also a lover. I joked.

"Great poet, stop joking! hahaha......" Dordo laughed as well.

"The Buddha is also affectionate, loving the world, and compassionate. Cangyang Gyatso looked up at the sky and said affectionately, "Living in the Potala Palace, I am the biggest king in the snowy region." Wandering on the streets of Lhasa, I am the most beautiful lover in the world. ”

"Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful!" said Dodor, clapping his hands and laughing.

"All I know is that when you were born, you said, 'I am not a small person, but the withered lord of the Three Realms, the Supreme Venerable. Now you have refreshed my cognition, and indeed you have great wisdom. Living Buddha, today, the Kyushu monks worship you as a teacher!" I clenched my fists and laughed.

"Idol, please say! Cangyang Gyatso must know everything, and he must say everything!" Cangyang Gyatso said excitedly, holding my hands tightly.

"Uh...... That one...... Living Buddha, don't get excited. Faced with Cangyang Gyatso's enthusiasm, I suddenly felt a little awkward, "Living Buddha, I want to know what is the key to open the door of Shinto since the Tongshen Ding has not been able to open the door of Shinto since it has put in the relics?"

"Idol, we have three learnings in Buddhism, 'precept, concentration, and wisdom', people will increase their concentration when they quit the troubles in the world, and after having a certain concentration, they will have a mind as clear and quiet as stopping water, and when they are stable to a certain extent, they will have the ability to judge right and wrong and the way to deal with problems in the world. And this solution to the problem lies in the glass Venerable, that is, the key to open the door of Shinto. Today's Central Plains, and even the world, the person who gets the glass is none other than the abbot of Shaolin Temple, Master Wujue!" Cangyang Gyatso said with his hands folded.

"Living Buddha, do you mean that the key to open the door to Shinto is in the hands of the Master of Enlightenment?!" I said in surprise.

"Great poet, I think so, Master Mingjing of Guangji Temple also said that the most enlightened monk in the Central Plains today is Master Wujue, the abbot of Shaolin Temple, and the key should be in the hands of Master Wujue!" Duoduo said with a smile.

"You two misheard, I'm talking about the key to open the door of Shinto is in the hands of the Master of Enlightenment, not in his hands!" Cangyang Gyatso said solemnly.

"What do you mean, Living Buddha, is there any difference between being on him and in his hands?" asked Doduo, flicking his sleeves and spreading his palms.

"yes...... What's the difference?" I wondered as well.

"It takes a person of great wisdom to pass away, and with the help of the colorful and soaring gem relics and crystal relics, the door to Shinto can be opened!" Cangyang Gyatso said solemnly, looking at me and Duoduo.

"Huh?!!How is this possible?!" said Dodor in horror.

In his early years, Master Wujue traveled all over the world with a sword, a stick, a hat, and a clock, and devoted his life to cultivating Buddhism and purifying sentient beings, cultivating generation after generation of outstanding disciples, so that Buddhism could be passed on and carried forward. Ahh......h The Master of Enlightenment is highly respected and famous, and he must not be burned to death! Absolutely not! Absolutely not......" I shouted in horror as I shook my hand and kicked the gravel on the ground.

"Great poet, great poet......" Dordor comforted me, pulling me along.

"Idols, everything is a certainty, and everything is not up to people. Everything is cause and effect, and fate gathers and disperses. Look open, bearish. Cangyang Gyatso patted me on the shoulder and said softly, walking away gently, tears shining in his eyes. Duoduo hurriedly ran over and followed Cangyang Gyatso to continue to explain the history and culture of the Temple of Heaven.

"Ahhh......h I can't believe that the death of the Master of Enlightenment was required to open the door to Shinto.
