Some words are really not unpleasant. Pen % fun % Pavilion www.biquge.info
A few years ago, limited to the publishing environment in China at that time, young people full of imagination and passion chose the Internet as the stage, and showed their unskilled but imaginative and amazing words in front of everyone. In 2005, when we were interviewed by Southern Weekly, we were very optimistic, although the so-called 'YY stream' had risen at that time, but everyone thought that the prospects were very good.
However, the purely reader-oriented model, the capital pressure on operators, the pursuit of income by writers, and some things like ticket swiping that can never be clarified have gradually changed the flavor of the term 'online literature'. The purely reader-oriented model makes the authors of 'online literature', especially those in the VIP mode, naturally change their goal from 'writing' to 'currying favor with the readers', and in this new era where everything is fast-paced and everywhere is heavy pressure, the Internet is full of people seeking catharsis - when the two are combined, when the operators are under pressure from capital and turn a blind eye to this trend against their will, this torrent quickly becomes unstoppable, and finally becomes what it is today. 'mainstream', using roaring money as a weapon to easily wash away everything that does not match it.
Do you know what the popular 'online literature' has become?
It has become an assembly line, the so-called fantasy fantasy martial arts, there is not much difference in mode, first the unearned 'ability', followed by 'power' or 'power', and then defeat a mentally retarded to ridiculous enemies, which is interspersed with N beauties; The smell of hormones and bodily fluids is in the air, and the latter are relatively rigorous and require some relevant knowledge, while others are pure dreams, like playing a family and dominating the country and even the world, and the shadow of militarism and ultra-nationalism is even more worrying.
At that time, the authors used words to let their imagination fly, and the adventures, enthusiasm and bravery of men, the love that sprouted or struggled between their hearts, and the magical and amazing worlds, etc., fully demonstrated their talents.
Now, the reader seeking catharsis waves the money in his hand, 'We're going to trample those strong people under our feet!' - so the writer does so, and the protagonist encounters the gods and destroys the gods, sees the Buddha and slaughters the Buddha, and one by one the supporting characters who allude to the powerful position in real life fall without resistance, making all kinds of ugly gestures that make the reader feel relieved;
The reader who is under the pressure of life waves the money in his hand, 'We want to be the superior!' - so the writer does so, and the protagonist takes out one of the admirable labels such as 'high-ranking cadre', 'rich businessman', 'family' and so on, and sticks it on his body, and then chooses one of the scenes such as 'officialdom', 'shopping mall', 'love field', 'underworld organization', etc., jumps down, and also begins the formulaic operation of encountering gods and destroying gods, seeing Buddhas and slaughtering Buddhas;
The hormonal reader waves the money in his hand, 'We also have money, and we also have beautiful women!' - so the writer does so, and the protagonist takes one of the various cheats and presses it on himself, and the money comes faster than the water from the faucet, and then begins to maneuver between the various beauties, but there is no love, no choice, not even emotion, and the beauties with only different names and identities, like plastic bags before the plastic limit, are taken back and thrown in the corner.
......
What is the value of such a text (I don't want to call it Internet literature until now, and I don't think it is qualified to represent Internet literature) except for the momentary pleasure of readers who are just seeking catharsis? Can such a text be called literature, even if the word Internet is added to it?
- This is just a garbage !! purely used to vent desires (for the record, only for the work, not for the author!)
......
After the intensity, let's talk a few more words.
Existence is reasonable, everything is born to cater to a certain need, in this stressful society, everyone bears a heavy burden, even young people are no exception, it is normal to seek psychological catharsis, and there is no right or wrong problem to cater to their needs, but if this is used as the selling point of online literature is infinitely magnified, it is devastating, predatory development!
However, when such things are advertised as representatives of online literature, the low threshold of writers and the fierce competition between them, the connivance of operators under the pressure of capital, and the lack of management and guidance of 'extremely free development' will eventually lead to a situation where bad money drives out good money (this law was originally used to illustrate information asymmetry, but now the usual usage has deviated from the original intention). When the initial explosive period passes, these 'online literature' and their readers will restrict and restrain each other, and eventually become a kind of non-mainstream 'self-entertainment', and online literature, which was once full of hope, will also sadly become a funeral object!!
Who will be responsible? Who will be responsible? I'm afraid the answer is silence.
Are the readers wrong? They paid real money for it!
Is the author wrong? They sit in front of the keyboard every day, squeezing their brain cells, they are actually a vulnerable group!
Are operators at fault? They need profits to stay afloat and they need salaries to support their families!
Is there something wrong with capital?...... Capital simply bothered to answer. Capital is never short of prey, they are like a huge flock of sheep, after eating a pasture, licking their mouths, and then looking for a new one, after they have ravaged it, the pasture that will eventually become a desert is left behind without care!
So, who's responsible?
......
I do not know.
I'm just an unknown writer, and my only requirement is that what I write can make people interested in reading it again after reading it; I don't have the ability to call for it, and I can't make it to the top of the world; as I said at the beginning, I just don't vomit or feel unhappy, and I witness my worries about online literature with a paragraph of text that I don't know; other than that, I can't do anything.
But I really hope that someone will do something.
――I don't laugh, 2008-7-14, read the Phoenix Forum 'Flying Birds and Chuck' "Internet Literature is Dead" post, and I was moved.
