Chapter 5: The Untold Secrets of Galadia Part 1
Ahh
Griffith was ashamed. Although it was just an accident, and an accident that made him a lot of money, such an accident had already made him run wildly towards the end of the road to social death and being killed by the Canaanite archons.
......
This semester's Flying Leaf arrived at Holmonworth unharmed.
At the dinner, Principal Tyberion was surrounded by two elven wizards he had never seen before. After his speech for the new semester, he greeted the visitors and then announced:
"We are honored to introduce two new colleagues from Canaan,
"His Excellency Julius Sidious, the Venerable High Mage, who will be the Head of Charms Teaching and Upper Charms Research in the First Year,
"Archmage His Excellency Samuel Sevicius, associate professor of the Course on the Theory and Practice of Spell Tactics. β
The two gorgeously dressed male elves stood up and nodded to the students in the audience. Sidious, the High Mage of Sequence 6, wears a white robe decorated with mythril and pure gold, pure white, blue, pale gold, and crimson gemstones adorn the cuffs and collar, and multiple layers of crystalline arcs of light appear around him.
He has a rare appearance that makes all praises pale, and he has a free-spirited, majestic and dignified bearing. The pale blonde hair shines in the white diamond glow of Holmonworth Hall.
Griffith vaguely felt that Sidious's beauty was somewhat familiar, but he couldn't say why.
The girls in the audience let out a burst of exclamations. Even the daughter of the famous family who paid the most attention to etiquette couldn't help but marvel.
"Are the elves so good-looking!" Fiona's eyes lit up as she looked intently at the amazing-looking dean.
Galadia smiled silently.
Griffith's expression was gloomy, he had no interest in men and male elves.
Although Miss Elf didn't slap him on the spot, she avoided him ever since, and even sat somewhere else at dinner.
They sat together all the time.
Ahh
Griffith took a sip of Golden Rum in chagrin and examined the enchanted trinkets on the two professors.
Another associate professor, Archmage Samuel of Sequence 7, is quite extraordinary in temperament and appearance, but less noticeable compared to the more noble and beautiful Sidious.
The two elven wizards returned to their seats after a brief address to the students, seemingly uninterested in the job.
The next banquet is a ritual ceremony. The band played a heartwarming piece of music and welcomed the new semester with singing.
Galadia, Sonia and Fiona formed a group last semester, and this time they performed an amazing chorus. The three girls wore long white dresses decorated with blue crystals, just like the fairies by the lake in the story.
The atmosphere in the hall, which had been somewhat heavy, came alive, making everyone forget the sad faces of a few Shutorals.
I'm going to talk to Galadia, hey, no, no, it's an apology! It's introspection!
Griffith pinched his face hard to lift his spirits. The elf's high voice was distant and ethereal, stirring ripples of resonance in his chest, gently pushing away the countless bad emotions that had accumulated for a long time.
However, until Griffith absentmindedly finished the rest of the dinner, the elf girl did not return from the backstage. In a few moments, everyone should go back to their rooms.
He stood up and left the banquet unobtrusively, walking through the side door in the corner of the hall towards the secluded backstage.
In order to make it easier for the students to make up and change their clothes, there are several private rooms next to the hall in Holmonwards. As Griffith walked over, he saw Sonia and Fiona chatting softly as they walked down the hall. He subconsciously hid in the shadows and waited for them to pass.
It couldn't be better.
The show is over, and the only one left in the dressing room should be Galadia. Griffith walked over confused and excited, not even knowing what to say when we met.
When he reached the door of the dressing room, he found it ajar. Inside, two people were chatting in an inaudible, light tone.
One of them was Galadia, and the other was who?, Griffith leaned cautiously against the door, peering through the crack in the door.
Miss Elf, who had already taken off her flower crown, sat on the dressing table in a thin long dress, loosening the ribbons and buttons that tied her shoulders tightly, and only her slender back and smooth long black hair could be seen from Griffith's angle. She was complaining about something in a sweet voiceβ
"You're finally free! You really don't care about me at all~ (human language). Then she switched to an ethereal elven language like a mountain spring, and her voice was as touching as coquettish.
Griffith's ears are pricked up!
At this moment, the gorgeous and noble Sidious came from the corner of his sight and leaned against the girl's side. His sharp, arrogant eyes were gone, and he looked at her with gentle eyes, whispered a few words, and then raised his hands and groped for something on the girl's seductive breast.
Galadia squirmed, a little grumbling in her tone, but it didn't stop her.
Griffith was struck by lightning and could barely breathe. His brain went blank, and reason evaporated instantly. His left hand pressed against the Corrupt Feather fencing, and his right hand unconsciously rubbed the bone ring.
Sidious's sharp gaze suddenly focused on the crack in the door. He gracefully walked around Galadia and faced the door of the dressing room, chanting an incomprehensible incantation.
Black thorns poured out of the cold tiles for no apparent reason, wrapping around Griffith's ankles. But as soon as they approached the apprentice's boots, they were reduced to ashes as if they had been burned by fire.
A smile crossed the corner of Sidious's mouth in the room, his right hand flashed, and an ice-blue long sword appeared in his hand.
"What's wrong?" Garradia, who was standing behind her, saw the blade in the hand of the high-ranking mage, and hurriedly jumped off the dressing table and looked towards the door.
At this time, Griffith raised his hand and gently tapped on the wooden door, and then slowly opened: "Disturb, it's me." β
Sidious frowned imperceptibly, spoke an elven language with disgust, and then said in human language: "Rude humans, dare to peep into the girl's privacy, I will smash you into dust." β
Come on!
The corners of Griffith's mouth couldn't help but curle, and he silently took a step forward, wishing that he would fight with a high-level archmage now and tear him alive. In such a narrow space, he thought he had an advantage, already with blood and qi surging all over his body.
Isn't it Sequence 6? Throw a gun three times at close range under the disturbance of not being able to drive the magic, and I will make you regret coming to this world.
"Wait! what are you going to do, stand back!" Galadhya hurried between the two, first stopping Griffith with her eyes, then turning to the High Elven Mage and quickly speaking an elven language.
Sidious had no emotional fluctuations on his calm countenance, he looked at Griffith, who was already on the verge of exploding, then at Galadia, shook his head and said an elven language.
"Got it, got it!" said Galadia waved her hand and pulled Griffith's sleeve up as she walked down the hall.
Griffith, who was already ready to fight, was pulled out and obediently followed her.
The banquet in the hall had long since ended, and the students who had eaten and drunk had already gotten up and returned to their dormitories. Brownies large and small are busy packing up the dishes, tables and chairs.
The two walked side by side along the secluded corridor.
Galadia looked at Griffith strangely, as if she had something to say, but she opened her mouth and said nothing. The latter, who had recovered a little from the stomach ache and anger, apologized to her first: "That, before, I'm sorry. β
"Don't mention it again. Galadia lowered her head and covered her face. After a while, she sensed that something was still wrong with the atmosphere, and stopped and asked, "Is there anything else I don't know?" β
What shall I say about this? What is your relationship with Sidious? He is one of the elves you mentioned about dating you?
Griffith looked at the placket and the glamorous lines of the girl's dress, and suddenly felt a stomach ache and dizziness. He wanted to know the answers to those questions, but he couldn't. He was worried about how the two would get along if the answer was what he had guessed.
"That~ when you think about it, you have to tell me, don't hide it in your heart by yourself," Galadia waited for a while and didn't wait for his reply, she hesitated and rubbed forward, looked at Griffith's side face, tilted her head and tiptoed slightly, and her slender jade hand moved beside his sturdy palm, as if she was going to do something.
Without waiting for Griffith to understand, Galadia retracted with a red face, turned around and walked forward slowly: "Let's go, it's too late if you don't go back, there will be a lot of classes tomorrow~"
Griffith nodded, darling to keep up with the elf's dexterous footsteps.
At the end of the dark corridor behind them, Sidious stared at the backs of the two men, his gaze of disgust and displeasure as if it were substance.
Back in the dormitory, Griffith always had some weird feelings, but there was nothing wrong with it.
The soft bed in Holmonworth was much more comfortable than the wooden bed in Earl's Court, and after a few rolls in the bed, he quickly fell into a deep sleep.
......
It seems like a strange mansion. The architecture and furnishings are like Griffith has never seen before, ornate and refined with a touch of nature, as if the whole mansion is a harmonious whole.
Griffith looked around in confusion and found himself in a place he didn't recognize.
Legend has it that there are hidden places in this huge castle that invite students into a strange little world.
The long and endless corridor was pitch black, with neither candlesticks nor chandeliers. On each side of the roof, there seems to be a sunken notch, where gem-like crystals are inlaid.
Griffith had barely taken two steps when there was a sudden shouting sound in the darkness behind him. He turned his head and saw a man running from the darkness screaming for his life.
"Don't chase me! Help!" shouted a senior in the second grade, the eldest son of a great nobleman, handsome and quite talented, and very popular among girls. He screamed and ran to Griffith's side and grabbed him by the arm.
"Help me, help me!"
Before the senior could explain what the danger was, Griffith suddenly felt something in the corner of his vision. He hurriedly turned his head to see a white mass approaching from the deep darkness at an alarming speed.
At first, its form was unrecognizable and silent. As it appeared, there was an eerie and strange laugh in the quiet passage.
The laughter drew closer, and Griffith discerned a faint voice in the laughter:
"Play with me!"
"Play with me!"
"Wow!" the senior screamed and fled into the darkness. The strange object followed him and pounced on his calf with incredible speed.
"Play with me!"
The seniors and indescribable screams disappeared in the darkness.
This, what is the situation.
A bewildered Griffith stared into the darkness, trying to find clues to the place where they had disappeared to comprehend the scene before him.
At this time, a strange touch appeared on the instep of his foot.
The voice that had just disappeared and the white shadow reappeared.
"Play with me!"
Judging by its appearance and clothing, this is a small baby crawling on the ground. The skin is very fair, and it appears silently in the dark, like a white ghost.
"What's your name?" Griffith held out his hand, and before his fingers could touch it, the baby vanished without a trace.
What is this...... Confused, Griffith continued down the promenade.
Suddenly out of the darkness came a chubby boy, also a classmate of Griffith, who remembered as a first-year student at Sheila's Branch, and was very skilled in the cultivation of magical plants.
"Don't move, don't move!" the fat boy cried nervously, pointing to the door, "there's a monster inside." β
Griffith immediately became alert and reached for the saber at his waist. But he grabbed it with one hand.
What's going on? I don't have any weapons? What's going on here?
Griffith looked at his hands and saw that the bone ring was still there, so he unscrewed the deadbolt to see what was going on inside.
"Don't!" cried the fat boy.
"Wow~" The door opened by itself. A small dark shadow appeared in the crack of the door. Its head is wrapped in black twisted tentacles, and its body is pitch black. In the hands of this creature, blood was dripping from the bright red organs and intestines. A suffocating smell of burnt food poured out of the house.
"Do you want to eat intestines?" the dark shadow grinned, revealing a mouthful of teeth.
"Ah!!h
"Want to eat intestines?" the shadow turned to look at Griffith, the tentacles dancing wildly as if they had come to life.
This terrifying scene is terrifying. Griffith took a step back, a sharp ice spear condensed in his hand and swung at the shadow.
The ice spear was disintegrated the moment it appeared, turning into a cloud of clear water and splashing on the black shadow.
"Ahh The black tentacles that fluttered in the wind dissolved and turned into dense black lines like hair.
The shadow cried and fled into the darkness and disappeared.
This, what's going on?
Griffith pushes open the door in confusion, only to find the room shrouded in suffocating smoke. There was splattered blood on the floor, a jet-black frying pan, shredded pieces of meat, intestines, and organs. A whole brain is abandoned in clutter. Scattered pitch-black handprints were left on the walls, where some poor creature was killed, decomposed, and then waited to be eaten.
The chaotic scene alerted Griffith, who searched the room carefully, finding no weapons, but several scattered pieces of white bones, stacked in front of a vanity mirror like a ritual.
Griffith left the charred room and began searching on the first floor. He found more rooms, uninhabited corridors, and cold halls, but he didn't find the classmates and strange creatures that had just disappeared.
He couldn't comprehend the scene, and as he pondered, the unbelievable sight vanished into a rippling phantom.
