Prologue
In autumn, the weather has gradually cooled, and the fallen leaves are blown in the air by the autumn wind. The sound of stroking the piano came from the woods by the lake in the central park, and the beating notes conveyed a faint desolation, which made people unconsciously indulge in it. Ling Yun sat alone in the pavilion in the forest, caressing the guqin in his hand, the beautiful sound of the piano flowed from the beating fingertips, and when he brought beauty to others, he couldn't help but recall the past.
Compared to the average person, Ling Yun is lucky, his family is well-off, his parents are well-educated and working in universities, and his mother is a famous musician. Born in this family environment, Ling Yun has had a strong interest in classical literature since he was a child, and the elders have slowly cultivated Xiao Lingyun in this area after discovering it. Ling Yun did not disappoint the elders, he was familiar with poetry and songs, and played the piano well, and was finally admitted to Peking University with excellent results, majoring in classical literature. It can be said that the first half of Ling Yun's life was envied by people, but misfortune came quietly inadvertently.
After Lingyun was admitted, his parents decided to go on a trip as a family in celebration, but they didn't know what this decision brought to this enviable family. On that day, on that winding road, Ling Yun's father crashed into the guardrail on the side of the road in order to avoid an overloaded truck, and when Ling Yun woke up, he found himself in the hospital.
"You're awake. The nurse next to him said to Ling Yun, who came back to his senses and asked, "What happened?"
The nurse glanced at Ling Yun and said softly, "You had a car accident on the winding mountain road, and it was a passing vehicle that called the emergency number to notify the hospital. Ling Yun was stunned, and the scene at that time came to his mind.
"How are my parents, where are they now?" Ling Yun couldn't help but become anxious.
"I'm sorry, but your parents were dead when we arrived. The nurse's expression was full of apologies.
This sentence was too big a blow to Ling Yun, and the whole person fainted as soon as it was dark in front of him. By the time Ling Yun woke up, it was already a day later, and despite the doctor's dissuasion, Ling Yun went through the discharge procedures and handled the funeral for his parents with the help of relatives and friends.
The sky was overcast, there was a faint thunder, and a light rain was falling, and after a while, a curtain of rain was formed. Ling Yun stood alone in front of his parents' graves, his mind was full of bits and pieces of getting along with his parents, and his chest was full of sadness. In a trance, an umbrella was propped up on top of Ling Yun's head, covering him from the rain. Ling Yun looked sideways at the bright-eyed girl beside him, listening to her softly comfort herself, and the sadness in her heart couldn't help but be relieved.
Time flies, and two years have passed since the death of my parents. Under the careful care of the girl, Ling Yun slowly walked out of the shadow of the past.
The girl is Lingyun's high school classmate, and she is a lover of classical literature, because of the same hobby, the two inadvertently slowly came together, and in a blink of an eye, it is now. Ling Yun originally thought that they could spend their future lives together like this, but he didn't expect the strings of fate to be plucked again.
Looking at the girl lying on the hospital bed in front of him, looking at the face that should have been full of vitality but was now full of haggardness, but still forced to smile at herself, Ling Yun's heart was like a knife. When the girl helped Ling Yun out of the shadow of life, she fell down because of an incurable disease.
"Lingyun, don't be sad, knowing you is the luckiest thing in my life, the time I spent with you is my happiest moment, my life is already very complete, the only regret is that I can't accompany you through the next road of life. The girl smiled and whispered to Ling Yun.
Ling Yun was reluctant to tell the girl at the moment, but looking at the smile on the haggard face, he couldn't say a word, so he could only hold the girl's hand tightly.
"Lingyun, I want to listen to you play the piano once. The girl made a small wish to Ling Yun.
"Okay, I'll play it to you. Ling Yun gently put the girl's hand back into the mattress, got up and took out the guqin that was placed aside.
After placing the piano, Ling Yun played one of the two people's favorite song "Phoenix Seeking Phoenix", and the beautiful sound of the piano echoed in the room, slowly drifting into the corridor, making the complicated sounds around people disappear at this moment, and the people who heard the sound of the piano were unconsciously addicted to it.
The girl looked at Ling Yun who was playing the piano, a happy smile bloomed on the corner of her mouth, and she whispered, "It's great to hear your piano in this life......
The girl slowly closed her eyes in the sound of the piano, Ling Yun's heart trembled, but the movements of her hands did not stop, as if she wanted to use the sound of the piano to send the girl on her last journey, forever.
As the music came to an end, Ling Yun gradually came back to his senses. Ling Yun got up and came to a big banyan tree, leaning against the tree decadently, his heart was full of longing, looking up at the sky, and he was speechless for a long time.
It wasn't until the sunset stained the sky red that Ling Yun finally came back to his senses. Looking at the bright sunset, Ling Yun seemed to see the smiling girl again. Slowly, the sunset on the horizon changed, gradually becoming colorful between red and yellow, as if a painter had accidentally hit the sky with colorful paints, and gradually converged, like the aurora.
Looking at the scenery in front of him, Ling Yun couldn't help but indulge in it. Suddenly, the sunset on the horizon converged into a pillar of colorful light and fell towards Lingyun, enveloping Lingyun in just an instant.
Under the shroud of divine light, Ling Yun only felt incomparable pain, as if his entire soul was about to be torn apart, and he couldn't be relieved from being in a sea of swords and fire.
"Lingyun, Lingyun!" In a trance, the familiar and crisp call sounded in Lingyun's ears, as if he saw the girl dancing in the sound of the piano again, silently reciting her name in his heart, "Yijie", Lingyun finally lost his last consciousness.
