Chapter Eighty-Seven: Poetry Soul Confrontation!

As Liu Ling recited the last line of the poem, the audience could be said to be in an uproar, and everyone's eyes were suddenly staring at Liu Ling, and even the sound of breathing seemed to be completely stagnant in an instant. The atmosphere can be said to be a sound of needles falling, everyone is immersed in a kind of surprise and shock, it can be said that Liu Ling's move has created a miracle that is unimaginable to ordinary people, and this miracle is completely a luxury that is beyond reach in the eyes of everyone. After all, the last poem is just too outstanding. And this is also a rare good thing for Li He, and it is also completely in line with Li He's character traits.

Li He does not have Wang Wei and Meng Haoran's simplicity, profoundness, tranquility and beauty; there is no profound, broad, tragic, and heroic spirit of Gao Shi and Cen Shen; and there is no free and easy expansiveness of Li Bai. When Wang Wei is frustrated, he can live in seclusion in Gongchuan Village, he can "go to the depths of the water and sit and watch the clouds rise", and when Li Bai is frustrated, he can "look up to the sky and laugh and go out, how can my generation be a Penghao person". But Li He can't, he is a horse of tragedy, his poems are a portrayal of the wildness, loneliness, frustration and despair of his soul, and he can even end his despair only by death.

The last time Li He left his hometown Changgu, he went to Zelu Erzhou to serve as Zhang Che's staff. Being slandered and not being allowed to be a jinshi, and spending three years of useless time in the capital from the cold post of Fenglilang of Jiupin is a thing of the past. In the poet's heart, Zelu's trip is no longer about striving for advancement, just to seek a way to survive.

When passing through Changping in Zezhou on the way from Changgu to Luzhou, Li He wrote this "Changping Arrow Song". This is a nostalgic poem, and this kind of occurrence of poetry is very common among poets in the Tang Dynasty, and nostalgic poetry has long been a type of poetry with its own creative rules. Generally speaking, the poet's inner feelings when he writes about the monuments first explain the scenery and season, and then use one or two allusions to show the recollection of the situation of the year, and finally boil down to his own sense of life experience, and express the feelings of longing to use the world. However, "The Song of the Changping Arrows" clearly shows how different Li He's personality and imagination are from the orthodox literati. On the occasion when he should write nostalgic style, Li He chose "National Martyrdom".

In the course of the poem, it states how this symbol from another era and another world reveals its connotation layer by layer under the poet's gaze. In the seventh and eighth sentences, "The wind is long and the day is short, the stars are short, and the black flag clouds are wet and hanging in the night", what can be clearly felt here is not only the transition from day to night, but the difference between the poet's own two very different states of mind. In the following verses, Li He in the world of ghosts and gods is seen more clearly than anywhere else in the "Collected Poems of Changji Songs".

The clouds turned into battle flags from nearly a thousand years ago, and the howling of the wind was the wail of the ghosts of the dead. This is not just a "tearful" sentimentality, but a religious experience in the most primitive sense. However, this experience is unlikely to last. "Visit the ancient pill Lan to collect the broken arrowhead, and fold the front of the red and the flesh." After everything is gone, all that remains is this short arrow soaked in human blood and colorful like a flower, this small piece of copper that has been forgotten by the world. However, because of the utility that this fragment of history has played in the poet's imagination, it has now become a kind of divine rune, a treasure of the poet's mind.

When they were in the city, only a little boy on a horse was amused and offered to exchange some basket-woven bamboo baskets. The only token left by Li He after his association with God has no meaning in the world. What a suffocating irony! The poet's ritual of worshiping the gods is destined to be held alone in a deserted wasteland, and is destined to be unable to hide the natural chill of the forest!

The poet once sang: "This horse is an extraordinary horse, Fang Xing is a star", but in reality, what he encountered was the fate of "the bird was bounced back". In his heart, he longed for the dance steps of "Lingyan and Jiaojiao" and the fugue of "descending and earthless, and vast and skyless", and the highest recognition and greatest glory given to him by the world was to be a small Fenglilang in the Taichang Temple of a dynasty with great vitality, and to cheer for the sacrifices of some ghosts and gods that no one believed in for a long time. This high-spirited young man, who used to be "a teenager should take the clouds in his heart," was forced to sigh "I should be twenty unwilling, and I am as sad as a withered orchid!" Quietly contemplating the soul and circumstances of this Fenglilang, it is not difficult to imagine how sad and desperate the poet feels about history, for life, and for the world in which he lives.

It is no exaggeration to say that this poem represents Li He's extremely high artistic level, even in all his poems, it is definitely a rare masterpiece, and it is even no exaggeration to say that even if you look at the entire Tang Dynasty, there are very few who can beat this poem, so Liu Ling chose to recite it to compete with Zhang Shangui, it is definitely not an impossible thing, and even Liu Ling's poem can steadily defeat Zhang Shangui, so everyone has a lot of appreciation for the artistic level of this poem, so naturally they also know the level of this poem, and everyone is surprised to find that this poem completely overshadows Zhang Shangui's poem, but now it has reached a result that surprises everyone, that is, Liu Ling has completed this desperate challenge!

If Liu Ling wrote these poems just now to make everyone feel uplifted, then now Liu Ling's level of achievement makes everyone sigh with admiration, after all, this is a poem written by Mr. Zhang Shangui after several years of painstaking efforts, and the poetic soul on it can be said to be so powerful that it is difficult to match, even if they combine the strength of everyone, I am afraid it is impossible to break these poetic souls, but the poem that Liu Ling is writing now completely overshadows Zhang Shangui's edge, and completely completes this challenge, such a result is simply too crazy for them, and even some people have staring at Liu Ling with round eyes, It's like seeing a monster that hasn't been out for a hundred years, obviously these poems that Liu Ling was given completely frightened everyone, such lines made everyone feel refreshed, like seeing a genius!

And as Liu Ling recited these poems, these unique poems also slowly formed a poetic soul, these poetic souls can be said to be extremely strong, after the formation, they immediately began to challenge the lost poetic souls of Fengling, and everyone was also quietly waiting for the results of the challenge of the two poetic souls!
