156. The Other Side of "Suffering": "Pure Rational Consciousness"
Almost everyone knows:
Everyone, when they were children, was carefree and happy......
When this person grows up, there will be a lot of troubles......
In fact, the root of this matter lies in: "the struggle of self-consciousness";
Since the two self-consciousnesses are born between the "infiniteness" of "inner fantasy" and the "finiteness" of the realization of "desire for life", the "struggle of self-consciousness" is always full of "can't", "can't", "will", "if", "if...... How good", "I regret ......", "TMD, I ...... at the beginning", "Oh, I ......", "It's a dog......", "I really can't figure out ......" and other scenes......
All this, in the "external" manifestation of the living individual:
Life is full of doubts and anguish from now on!
Skepticism: It is the mutual "negation" of two "self-consciousnesses"!
Distress: It is the "state" caused by the long-term "mutual negation" of two "self-consciousnesses" and the struggle for life and death!
......
This "affliction" is the consciousness of splitting itself into two;
This contradiction of its essence is contained in one consciousness, so that in one consciousness there must always be another consciousness, so that when each side thinks it has triumphed and has attained a quiet unity, as a result it is immediately expelled from the unity and divided again.
But the true return of the "distressed" consciousness to itself or its reconciliation with itself, for within itself there is already a dual form of undivided consciousness.
It itself is a self-consciousness "mapped" to another self-consciousness, and it has both sides in itself, and the unity of the two is also its own essence;
For it, both "self-consciousnesses" are equally important and contradictory, so it is only a contradictory movement in which the opposites cannot rest in their opposites, but only reinvent themselves in its opposites as opposites.
The "outward manifestations" of this process are: Pippi's "hesitation", "hesitation", "distress", "indecision" on an important matter, and even though something has passed, Pipsqueak "repeatedly deduces" and "regrets" in his mind again, etc.!
In the tempering of "suffering", the "consciousness of distress" has reached the unity of the opposites of two "self-consciousness": it has reached a different shore:
"Pure rational consciousness"!
From the point of view of "pure rational consciousness", its "existence" as this individual consciousness is "its own existence and action";
"Pure rational consciousness" overrides the two "self-consciousnesses" and arises from "suffering", but reaches the other side of "suffering";
Thus, in the case of "pure rational consciousness", the emphasis is placed on the idea of "reason", and the "consciousness" emerges with the conviction that in its individuality, it is "absolutely self-existent".
The "pure rational consciousness" exerts its "evolution" as an objective being, and in this movement, the "self-consciousness" also consciously forms a unity with the "pure rational consciousness":
The "suffering" caused by the two "self-consciousnesses", and the corresponding shore of the suffering: detachment from "suffering" is "pure rational consciousness".
This creates a new unity of opposites: the "long struggle of self-consciousness", which leads to "distress" and, in turn, "pure rational consciousness".
And this "pure rational consciousness" is the "ultimate mystery" that countless "chicken soup for the soul" in our real society try and seek:
How to maintain a "pure rational consciousness" and get rid of "suffering"!
......
The middle term of "pure rational consciousness" is the unity of the two extremes that directly recognizes and connects the two extremes, and the consciousness of the unity of the two extremes that it expresses to itself is the certainty of all "truth" itself.
......
However, "pure rational consciousness" is not the same answer, it is a "system of ideas" in which each individual can maintain "self-consciousness" and free from "suffering";
This "pure rational consciousness" may be completely different for each living individual, and the "pure rational consciousness" itself is constantly "evolving"!
"Pure rational consciousness" can be said to be the "moral criterion" inherent in every living individual, and the "faith" that makes the living individual no longer "troubled", which is not a "universal" and "popular" belief, but only an individual's "belief";
But for the whole society of the intelligent race, "pure rational consciousness" is only a "personal worldview", not a "popular belief"!
......
Below, we will discuss several common manifestations of "pure rational consciousness":
The first is "pure rational consciousness": idealism.
The "rationality" of "pure rational consciousness" lies in being free from "troubles";
Then, its negative attitude towards "other things" is transformed into an affirmative attitude.
As reason, the "pure rational consciousness" itself has a guarantee, and it feels that there is peace between itself and the two "self-consciousnesses", and is able to tolerate them;
It now knows that it is "reality" in itself, or rather, it knows that "all reality" is nothing else but itself;
When it adopts this attitude, it is as if "the whole world" has now become a world for it for the first time;
Until then, it has no knowledge of the world, it wants and does something about the world, and then it always withdraws from the world, withdraws from itself.
It is only now, for the first time, that it discovers that the world is its own real world, and that it is interested in the continued existence of the world.
Now, the "pure rational consciousness" says to itself: "I am who I am";
"Pure rational consciousness" says that it is all "reality" and all "being";
In this way, the "pure rational consciousness" only guarantees that it is all reality, but it does not understand this guarantee, because it forgets the whole "process of deduction" or "historical origin" that preceded us;
Therefore, any theory that does not state how "pure rational consciousness" "came from", but affirms directly from "pure rational consciousness", is idealism:
Like what:
1. All idealism is made, and the heart is empty and the first return!
2. The world is composed of the "world of ideas" and the "world of phenomena". The world of ideas is real and eternal, while the world of reality that human senses come into contact with is nothing more than a faint shadow of the world of ideas, which is composed of phenomena, and each phenomenon is characterized by temporary changes due to factors such as time and space. (Plato)
3. The origin of all things is not the concrete things that can be felt, but the abstract number; number is the beginning of all things, number governs the world, and number contains the "essence" of all things; understanding the structure of the world and its laws means knowing the number that governs the world. (Pythagoras)
4. There is an innate concept in the human mind, and it is only by relying on reason that we can understand things and distinguish between truth and falsehood. I think, therefore I am. (Descartes)
5. Everything in the world exists for the subject, and the relationship between the world and people is the relationship between the appearance and the appearance. The world of appearances is the world of "phenomena", and beyond it there is a world that is the will that is "in itself". The objectification of the will is the idea, and the manifestation of the idea is the phenomenon. Human knowledge is born to serve the will. Man can also be a pure subject of knowledge to get rid of the shackles of knowing to serve the will, and enter the aesthetic realm of selflessness (i.e., the loss of will). (Schopenhauer)
6. Outside of all phenomena, there is an ultimate ontology that governs everything in nature, and everything in the world is the product of this eternal and ultimate ontology. (Nietzsche)
7. The heart is the reason, the heavenly principle is the conscience, the conscience is the heart, the reason, the heavenly principle is in one's heart, as long as you overcome selfish desires and restore your conscience, you can become a sage. (Wang Yangming)
