Chapter 14: Moses, From Egypt to Midian
"Two adults, are you also gods?"
Adros looked at the delicate and lovely girl in front of him, looked at Ian next to him and smiled, and then said to the girl: "How do you know that we are gods, have you ever seen gods?"
The girl Sipora smiled embarrassedly: "I once saw our great god in a dream, and I feel that you are somewhat similar to the god. โ
Adros was amazed that the people who could dream of gods in their dreams were people with their own stories, and he went on to ask, "Who is your god, and what is your name?"
"My name is Zipporah, and my father was a priest of Midian. As for God, God is God, and we do not know His name, but He is our Lord. Our ancestors were created by Him, and everything we have is given by Him. โ
Hearing the name Midian, Ian's face moved, because Adros told her that what they were looking for was a place called Midian. It seems that this is the place, but I don't know why her master, Adros, came here.
"Oh, well, it seems that you gods are really amazing. โ
Adros said with a smile, no one knew if what he said was true or false.
Sipora suddenly raised his head and said, "Of course, our god must be the greatest god. โ
Adros was noncommittal, that god, he had not seen it with his own eyes, and it was difficult to make a conclusion. But what he can be sure of is that the god has both the ability to create the world and the creation of man, as well as the act of destroying and slaughtering people.
Suddenly, Ian, the maid next to him, snorted, and then turned red, as if she had been hit hard. Adros was shocked, and hurriedly reached out to check, and found that in Ian's body, a rolling blazing force swam, and this blazing power didn't know where it came from, and after swimming around, it disappeared.
Ian came back to his senses and realized everything just now, and felt a sense of sadness inexplicably.
"What's wrong with you?"
Hearing Adros's question, Ian hesitated and said, "I don't know what's going on, it seems that there is a person who is very important to me and is suffering." This feeling, just like when Della died, I don't know how. โ
When Adros heard this, he probably guessed that this feeling might be related to the goddess Isis, and he looked at Ian deeply: "If you want, you can retrieve Isis's memory, I don't care." โ
"Master, don't you want me?"
Hearing Adros's suggestion, Yi was in a hurry, and tears suddenly appeared in his eyes, which was touching.
Seeing that she was so excited, Adros hugged her into his arms, stroked her hair, and said softly: "How can I not want you, whether it is soul or body, you are my person." I'm just telling you that whatever decision you make, I'm in favor of it, including getting Isis back. โ
Ian snuggled into Adros's arms and shook his head, but there was a sly look in his eyes, which was quite different from her usual indifferent expression. It's just that her expression, Adros can't see it.
"Do you gods have such a disregard for the presence of other people?"
Xipola was suddenly dissatisfied, and everyone chatted about how the two of them hugged each other. Even among human beings, husbands and wives should avoid other people.
Ian came out of Adros's arms with a little embarrassment, looked at the Midianite girl, and smiled faintly at her.
Zippora was the most beautiful girl in Midian, and she had always been proud, but when she looked at the goddess who was as dazzling as white jade, she was ashamed of herself and did not dare to look at her directly.
Adros and Ian settled in the desert of Midian, and they instructed Zipporah not to reveal their true identities.
The people of Midian, who only knew that they were two powerful human beings, did not know that they were gods. No one dared to provoke them, for Zipporah became a disciple of the woman who was as beautiful as white jade, and Zipporah was the daughter of the most powerful priest in Midian.
The Midianites, like the Hebrews, secretly believed in the gods of their ancestors. But unlike the Hebrews, in order to live in harmony with the Egyptians and not to be hated by the Egyptians, they chose priests, their elders, and set up a temple at will as their faith.
As for the gods enshrined in this temple, they have no names and even have vague appearances, and whenever an Egyptian passes by, the Midianites will declare that this is the god Isis.
Isis was the main god of a long time ago, and now there is almost no faith in her in the world, but if anyone believes in her, the Egyptians will not care very much. This goddess was a deity worshiped by all Egyptians long ago.
But the so-called temple of Isis is rarely visited, and the so-called priests are nothing more than a cover, and they prefer to worship the gods of their ancestors in their homes. So Adros took his maid and lived in the temple, looking forward to meeting the god.
If it had been a long time ago, he might not have had the courage to meet this god who liked to transform gods, but just recently, a change occurred in his mind, which gave him enough confidence.

Moses fled all the way, avoiding the Egyptian royal court, and went to a remote and uninhabited place. On several occasions he had to be captured by the Egyptians, but for various reasons, he was saved from the danger.
Moses had always believed that their God was secretly helping him not to sacrifice his life. However, when the last demigod of the royal court came to claim his life, he finally met the person who saved him, which made him happy and disappointed.
The god who saved him was called Sisyphus, he was not sent by God, he called himself the messenger of the stars, the apostle of truth. He announced to Moses that the great Lord of stars and truth, the God of ways and directions, had seen Moses' crucifixion and had sent him to his aid.
"Thank you to the great Lord of the stars for his help, Moses will surely take it to heart. โ
Although the Lord of the Stars was not the god he believed in, he could not ignore the kindness of salvation, which was a tradition of their Hebrews, and they should always remember it in their hearts, whether it was kindness or grudge.
Sisyphus didn't know what Adros' intention was for him to help Moses, but since the teacher had given him orders, he had to carry them out.
The demigods who came to chase and kill have been driven away by him, and if there are still people behind who come to chase and kill, then it should be gods. Sisyphus did not dare to hold it up, but he came down from the clouds and walked with Moses.
If Moses' death had been caused by his carelessness, he would not have the face to meet the teacher who had high hopes for him.
Moses found that this god, who looked like a young man from the outside, possessed a great deal of knowledge. Whether you know or don't know, you can get answers from him.
Later, when the two chatted, he knew that this god was also a human like him at the beginning, and later became a god after his teacher, the Lord of the Stars who sent him to help him teach the Dharma, Moses' heart beat unconsciously.
"If you need it, I can also teach you the method of becoming a god that my teacher passed on to me. โ
Sisyphus's voice, like the whisper of the devil in his ear, almost made him unbearable, and accepted his proposal.
Becoming a god, what a desirable thing, to be able to have an infinite lifespan and great power.
However, Moses thought about it for a long time, paused for a long time, and finally rejected the temptation.
"Thank you for the gods' attention, but I am afraid that after learning your methods, I will no longer be eligible to enter my lord's Garden of Eden. If I have the opportunity to meet my lord in the future, if he agrees with me to learn his divine law, then I will come back to you again for advice. โ
Sisyphus was shocked, knowing that since Adros's method of human godhood was created, it was simply a big killer. Whether it is a demigod or a human, when they hear that there is a chance to become a real god, and no matter which god they worship, they immediately forget about it and begin to wonder how they can become gods.
But the Moses in front of him, he actually refused, it can't be because there is something wrong with his brain. Sisyphus thought deeply that it would be a bit difficult to guarantee the life of a person with a brain problem.
Ignoring the strange look of the god across from him, Moses continued on his way. Strange to say, since Sisyphus drove the demigod away, he hadn't met anyone who had come after him.
He didn't know that at this time, the Egyptian royal court was in a fierce struggle for the throne, and all forces were vying to make a move.
In this way, one god and one man, slowly walked into the desert without people, and after a long stretch of yellow sand, Moses found an oasis where there were still people coming and going.
So Moses came to this populated land with his staff, and the first thing that came into his eyes was a well. Moses was overjoyed, and after a long desert journey, his mouth was dry, and he was looking forward to finding a source of water, but he did not expect it to appear.
"Thank God. โ
Moses meditated in his heart, then went to the well and drew some water to drink.
The water was so sweet that it was better than all the delicacies Moses had ever tasted at the Egyptian court, and when he had drunk the water, he leaned against the well and rested. He didn't even notice that Sisyphus, the god who had been following him, was already missing at this time.
Sisyphus was nervous at this time, and as soon as he entered this oasis, he felt that everything about him was being watched. This feeling of near-nadity made him very uncomfortable, and he looked around, even flew up to the clouds to look, but he didn't see anything wrong.
"I said, the scenery in the air is very good, you can see more in the air. โ
But when he entered the air, he found that he could not move, so he froze, and could not go any further. Then came into his ears a warm voice, probably from the man who kept him in the air.
