Chapter 4: Lilia

Frandy was half a year older than Lilia, a little girl. Although they grew up together on the island of Psal, Flandi was not too familiar with her.

In the eyes of the island's residents, Frandi and Lilia are two special children.

It's because in Flandy's body lives the soul of an adult, who likes to run freely and use bulky equipment to keep his body up. But he refuses to play games like house with children.

Lilia, on the other hand, is rarely seen outside of the Magic Tower, where she lives. Only the morning class and evening class are studied with the children every day, and almost every time I see her, she follows Algernon as a little tail. Even Lilia's brother Ted always complained, saying that every time she pulled Lilia to play, she would always refuse.

So Flandi didn't expect Lilia to have such deep feelings for Aunt Beth.

The little girl stroked Aunt Beth's supple tiger hair over and over again, her fingers were slender and long, like new bamboo shoots after the rain, and under the sunlight of the early morning, her little face seemed to be dyed with a layer of red, and her big eyes showed a very concerned gaze.

"Lilia, do you know Aunt Beth well?" asked Frandy.

"Well, acquaintance, acquaintance for a long time. Lilia looked up, looking at Frandy with big pretty eyes.

"I mean, I know you rarely leave the castle, I didn't expect you to know Aunt Beth so well. Flandy was a little embarrassed.

Lilia didn't speak, just kept looking at Flandy. There was a hint of doubt in his eyes, a hint of confusion.

"Well, Aunt Beth, I'm going back, and I'm going to the dining room for breakfast, or I'll miss the morning class, and I'll come back to see you tomorrow." Lilia, are you going back?" Flandi stood up.

"No, I'd like to stay a little longer. Lilia looked at Franky and said.

"Alright, Aunt Beth, goodbye Lilia. Flendy turned to leave.

"Wait a minute, Flandy......"

"What's the matter? Frandy asked, confused.

"Flandy......" The little girl looked at Flandy and stopped talking.

"Huh?"

"Frandy, I want to ...... I'd like to ask you a favor. The little girl seemed to have decided something, and said to Frandy.

"No problem, you have something to say. Flandy happily agreed to a little girl's request.

"I want to go somewhere, but I can't get there by myself, I need your help. Lilia said.

"Going somewhere, far away, leaving Psalal?" said Franky, a little surprised.

"No, no, it's on the island of Psal, it's not going to be far away. Lilia explained.

"That's fine, I'm most familiar with Psal, I've been to almost every place, and it's absolutely fine to have me take you there. Brandy agreed.

If it was to leave Psalar Island, Flandi really didn't dare to say that he packed the ticket, after all, it was still dangerous for two children under the age of ten to go to the mainland without anyone to lead.

Even though Flandi has the soul of an adult, he is not familiar with the world after all, but it doesn't matter if he is only on the island of Psal, Flandi has been playing on the island since he was four or five years old, and he knows that there are dangers on the island. Those magical beasts living on the island are also known under the strong introduction of Aunt Beth. In Flandy's mind, the little girl probably wanted to find a cave to explore or something.

"Thank you, Flandy, and I'll look for you again after lunch. The little girl's delicate little face showed a small smile.

It was the first time Flandi had seen Lilia smile at herself.

"Okay, I'll wait for you!" Frandy agreed, and with that, Franky patted the heads of the two little saber-toothed tigers and comforted them, and then walked towards the castle.

Ingredients account for a large portion of the monthly deliveries of the Oskaia Empire to Psal. Although hundreds of residents of the island also cultivate some vegetables, they still rely on the mainland for supplies such as meat, grain, and condiments.

The restaurant at Psalal Castle is large enough to accommodate the entire island at the same time, but many families prefer to go to the warehouse where the ingredients are stored and pick up their favorite ingredients to take home and cook for themselves.

Frandi's father, Lawrence Pullman, was the head chef of the cafeteria, so he grew up eating with everyone in the cafeteria.

Usually Flandi was one of the first people to come, but today due to Aunt Beth's toothache, there were already a lot of people who came to the restaurant by the time Flandy arrived.

When Frandy walked into the dining room, two strong men came out of the dining room, apparently having just finished their meal and were ready to go to work.

The two strong men were both over 1.9 meters, and the brown-haired strong man was more fierce, wearing a short coat and shorts sewn from animal skins, and a hemp rope tied around his waist, while the other strong man, although he had short hair, was wearing a cotton robe, which looked more gentle.

"Uncle Anger, Uncle Lem, good morning. Frandy greeted them.

"Hehe, little Flandy, why are you late today, are you sleeping as lazy as little Vito?" said the fierce-looking strong man Anger, who touched Flandy's head.

The inhabitants of Psalal Island like to touch children's heads, because when they are young, they are always touched by older elders, and older people are touched by older elders.

"Oh, something happened in the morning and delayed time. Is Vito still sleeping?" asked Flandy.

"I threw him out of bed and into the sink when I came out for breakfast. It's time to come now, if it's any more late, you'll be late for morning class, and your grandfather will teach him a lesson. "The strong man Anger looked indifferent.

As he was talking, a little fat man from the outside rushed over with his head down like a pig with his tail burned.

Fat Vito and his Abba Ang Orange also have brown hair, but because of their young age, they are not as fierce as his father, and his chubby little face is dotted with a few freckles. The eyes are not big, and the height is a head behind Flandy, which is the normal height of an eight-year-old child.

"Hey, man, slow down. Frandy grabbed Vito.

"Ahh Flandy, why did you just come to breakfast? Mom lied to me, it's still early?" asked the little fat man Vito, dizzily. It seems that the cool shower in the morning did not sober him up.

Before Flandi could reply, he heard a "snap", and Anger's big hand slapped Vito's head.

"Stinky boy, it's so late every day, if you don't make it to morning class today, I'm going to throw you into the tricolor taro and lock you up all night!" Anger said to his son. The face of the already fierce ...... It's even more ferocious.

The taro is a man-eating flower with huge petals that can envelop an adult strong man in it. And the stamens secrete a very corrosive liquid that can absorb the captured organisms into nutrients.

However, the Orange family, who are gardeners by profession on the island of Psal, have long developed a potion to resist corrosion, as long as this liquid is applied, it can avoid the attack and corrosion of most magic plants, so the tricolor potatora has tragically become a small black house for the people, and it is said that Uncle Anger himself has been locked up since he was a child.

Although it will not be corroded when locked in, it will make people's bodies itch, and the taste is definitely unpleasant, and the little fat man Vito has had this experience a few times. He was so frightened that he didn't dare to look at his father, so he pulled Frandy and ran to the restaurant.

The food in the restaurants of Psalal Island is very rich, and ingredients from special dishes can be found here from all over the Oskaia Empire. However, for Flandi, who is growing taller, grains and vegetables cannot satisfy his appetite, and the consequence of his extreme daily exercise is that he has only one recipe, and that is meat - meat.

Whether it's flying in the sky, running on the ground, or swimming in the sea, as long as it's meat, Frandi likes to eat it. His father, Lawrence Pullman, was the head chef here, so there was often some "good meat" left over for Brandi to eat.

"Good meat" refers to the meat of Warcraft.

The continent of Oskaia is extremely vast, and the two great human empires occupy only a small part of the area that is most suitable for life. The pace of human exploration has never stopped, the endless forest sea, the treacherous and dangerous places of countless creatures, some of which have lived in some places with extremely abundant magical elements for generations, and the evolution of generation after generation has made these creatures inherently capable of casting magic, so this kind of creatures are collectively called Warcraft.

No Warcraft is easy to mess with, even a first-level Warcraft must concentrate all its strength and kill with one hit, because magic doesn't have eyes. When you see that the beasts have cast their magic and you don't have a few expensive magical defense equipment, then all you have left is prayer, which is the motto of the samurai who make a living from exploration.

The flesh of a Warcraft is very precious, and the more high-level Warcraft the flesh contains, the more abundant the magical elements it contains, and the less likely it is to rot. And the quality of the Warcraft meat that can be transported to Pusar Island can be imagined.

Vito, the little fat man, had already gone to the food service to line up, while Flanddy had snuck into the back kitchen.
