Chapter Ninety-Eight: The Absconding Demon

The four dwarfs looked at the old lady in amazement.

"Wouldn't this old lady be the one we're looking for!!" thought the dwarf boss.

The old lady was unhurried, finished the last noodle and wiped her mouth with a tissue.

"You're looking for the Evil Forbidden Pavilion!!" said the old lady.

"How do you know!? we didn't tell you!" said the dwarf boss in amazement.

"I'm a soothsayer in the Forbidden Mansion!" said the old lady with some heaviness.

The dwarfs couldn't believe that the one in front of them was a soothsayer, and she was too ordinary, just a bad old lady. However, the dwarf boss saw the scepter beside her and dispelled his doubts. I saw a crimson scepter beside the old woman. The scepter was no ordinary walking stick, and at the top of the scepter was a blue magic crystal, a symbol of the soothsayer.

"So, take us to the Forbidden Mansion!" said the dwarf boss.

The dwarfs followed the old lady to the Forbidden House of Sin.

The museum is a small four-story building with a dilapidated appearance. There are four windows on each floor, all of which are tightly closed. The roof of the building is a yellow spire, which is connected by parapets.

The entire building is white, and the walls have turned black due to the dust and embroidery of age.

A wall surrounds the building, and there are some iron barbs on the walls. Two monsters sat on each other on a large iron door. The old lady pushed open the iron door and walked in.

The dwarfs saw that there were thorns planted all around the building, and if they got closer, their clothes would get stuck on the thorn vines and be stabbed.

When the dwarfs walked into the sin vault, they were greeted by a foul smell that made them want to vomit. So, the dwarfs used their air pressure magic. They looked at the cages and found them empty.

"Before, there were some monsters locked up here! Then they all died!Except for a few demons still existed!" said the old woman, patting the air in front of her nose with her hand.

"Which way did those demons flee!?" asked the dwarf boss.

"Oh, I'm going to ask you for help!" said the old lady.

"This thing can help you identify the true body of the demon!" said the old lady, handing a pendant to the dwarf boss.

The dwarf boss took the pendant and looked at it. I saw that the chain of this pendant was composed of green crystals, connected to this large crystal.

The dwarfs didn't want to stay in this dark place anymore and walked out quickly.

As they walked down the street, they found that the surrounding buildings had no residents.

"Oh, why don't these buildings have any inhabitants?" asked the dwarf boss.

"That's all because of this evil forbidden house! The demons locked up in it let out terrifying screams at night! Where else would anyone dare to live near here!" said the old lady very helplessly.

"So, why didn't Kelly's grandfather destroy these demons?" asked the dwarf boss.

"I don't know!!" said the old lady.

The dwarfs were walking some way when they saw an airfield. There were a few green advanced fighters parked there, and it seemed that there was one less.

"The one that is missing must be Kelly's ride," said the dwarf boss.

"Yes, Kelly is a man who likes to study machinery," said the old lady.

"Let's go, young man, you're not without gain! When you're done, the pendant will be given to you," said the old lady.

The dwarf boss conjured a truck, and they got into it and drove in one direction.

After about ten minutes, they arrived at a small town. It was crowded and there were stalls on the streets, and they were black people. There were so many people that trucks couldn't get into town. The dwarfs had no choice but to leave the truck and get out of the car together. They were strolling the streets. Suddenly, as the dwarfs passed by, the pendant began to glow.

By this time, the dwarfs had left the crowd and came to a place where there were few passers-by. As the dwarfs moved, the pendant grew brighter and brighter, until it stopped in front of a dwelling. The dwarfs were pleasantly surprised to find that the pendant was shining the brightest here, and it had been stable and not flickering.

"I'm sure there's a demon in there!" said the dwarf boss, knocking on the iron door.

A servant came out of it, dressed in yellow.

"What is the matter with you, who are you looking for?" asked the servant.

The dwarfs did not understand his language, and did not know what the servant was saying.

"Oh! I forgot every time!" the dwarf boss remembered, and used his magic to speak the language.

"We're in a hurry with your master!" said the dwarf boss deliberately.

"Oh, your names?" said the servant.

"Hmm!, Hobson Tooth," said the dwarf boss.

"Oh, wait here, I'll let me know!" said the servant.

At this time, the servant walked into the hall and saw the master sitting on the sofa and reading the newspaper with Erlang's legs crossed.

"Master, there are a few people outside who say they are your friends! I am looking for you in a hurry!" said the servant as he walked slowly to his master's side, for fear of disturbing his master's reading of the newspaper.

"Oh, friend!!!, what's it called!?" said the newspaper owner.

"Hobson Tooth," said the servant.

"I don't know!! I don't know," said the owner of the newspaper.

The servant opened the door of the hall with a gold lacquer pattern and went out into the courtyard. The dwarfs were still waiting eagerly outside the iron gate, and they felt a sense of joy when they saw the servant coming.

"Our master says he doesn't know you!" said the servant, turning to leave.

"Hey, wait a minute! We really are your master's friends! Just friends from a long time ago! Maybe he forgot! You let him come out to meet us! Maybe he remembers!" said the dwarf boss.

As soon as the servant turned around, he heard the dwarfs shouting again, and turned back.

"My master doesn't want to see you!" said the servant, grimacingly.

"Don't let him come out and meet us! this is for you," said the dwarf boss, taking a gold coin from his pocket and handing it to the servant.

The servant seemed to have seen gold coins for the first time, so he couldn't put it down, took it in his mouth and bit it, and wiped it with a sigh, and found that it was indeed gold, and he was very happy.

The servant carefully put away the gold coin, for it was the only gold he had in his life, and he could not have imagined that he could have it.

"Wait a minute, I'll let me know!" said the servant, and went into the room again.

The owner is counting the bills and finds that he needs a sum of money to cover the shortfall lately.

"What's the matter?!" said the master.

"Master, those people still won't go! they don't say they're your old friends!, but you haven't seen and forgotten for a long time!!" said the servant.

After hearing this, the master wondered.

"Let them go! I'm sure they're here to beg for money again!" said the master impatiently.

"They didn't ask you for money, they said they had to see you, they said you went out to meet them, and you remembered them," said the servant, for it was not good to take people's money.

After hearing this, the host was even more puzzled.

"A friend from a long time ago!!" thought the master, a little curious.

"Okay! you tell them to wait outside the door!" said the master.

The master continued to count the month's ledger, and there was no extra money to fill the void anywhere. It gave him a headache and he didn't know what to do. After the master had read all the account books, he walked out.

"What are you doing here!? I really don't know you!" the man said.

"We're here for the night, please take us in for the night!" said the dwarf boss.

"No, no, no, I don't rent here!" the man refused.

The dwarf boss pulled out a gray bag from his body and placed it in front of the owner's eyes.

"Look, this is what we pay you for!!, have you seen enough!?" said the dwarf boss, opening the bag.

A pile of glittering gold coins jumped into the homeowner's eyes, making him hesitate.

"There is such a fool! I can get so much money for renting a house, and if I had these gold coins, I would not have been able to make up for the shortfall! and I am a little rich!" the landlord thought to himself.

"Okay, but there's no other room! There's only a basement! Are you sure you want to rent it?!" said the landlord.

"We're going to rent," said the dwarf boss.

"What a fool, the basement is also rented! It seems that good luck is coming! I can't stop it," said the landlord, taking the gold coin, and letting the servant open the iron door.

When the owner of the house personally led the dwarfs they came to the basement.

"It's good here! My basement is pretty spacious," the owner said, leaving.

The dwarf boss noticed that the pendant in his pocket was very bright and had penetrated through his clothes.

"It seems!, this demon is in the basement!" said the dwarf boss, pulling the pendant out of his pocket
