Chapter Seventy-Three: The Vanishing Car
Five figures rolled on the road and fell to the side of the grass.
I saw that the truck that was still jogging disappeared in an instant.
The five people who were getting up were shocked by this phenomenon.
"Boss, this is so strange! The car is gone!!If we hadn't jumped out of the car at the time, would it have disappeared with us!" said the second dwarf in surprise.
The dwarf boss couldn't figure out what the reason was, and kept shaking his head, thinking it was incredible.
"Could this be the demon who was playing tricks on the devil just now?" said the third dwarf.
"No way! the demon can't do it!" said the dwarf boss.
"Czech!could this be some natural phenomenon!?" asked the dwarf boss.
"No! I don't have this natural phenomenon in my database!" the Czech said.
The dwarf boss thought puzzled, looked around, and found nothing strange.
"Czech, can you scan the space nearby!, see if there's anything strange," said the dwarf boss.
The Czech nodded, and began to scan his surroundings.
The result shocked the Czechs by the fact that there was an invisible xenospace-absorbing wall nearby.
"There's an invisible and transparent wall of othermalt absorption near here that converts everything that comes close to it with a certain velocity to other places!" the Czech said, shaking his head incredulously.
When the dwarfs heard this, they were shocked.
The dwarf boss tries to pick up a rock on the ground and throw it at the place where the car disappeared.
I saw that the stone had mysteriously disappeared.
"Oh, that's incredible!, it looks like you say," said the dwarf boss in surprise.
"I think we should look around here for clues!" said the dwarf boss.
The five searched the vicinity, first heading into the woods on the left side of the road. They walked for a long time in the woods, but they didn't find anything strange, except for the dense trees. The five of them walked a certain distance and planned to return, because this forest was very large, and it was easy to get lost, and besides, they had not seen anything strange after walking for so long.
The five returned to the road and prepared to search the woods on the right.
When they were halfway through the woods on the right side of the road, their vision suddenly cleared up. In a large open space, there is a two-story factory.
Around the factory, rusted and unrusted oil drums littered the floor, and metal scrap was piled up next to a pipe that ran down from the second floor. The whole factory has no windows and is fully enclosed.
When the dwarfs and the Czech approached the factory, they smelled a disgusting smell of blood.
"What a smell of blood!, do you smell it?" asked the dwarf boss, covering his nose.
The others also covered their noses and nodded.
The dwarf boss took a closer look at the factory and found it suspicious.
"I think the vanished car must have something to do with the factory!" the dwarf boss deduced.
"Oh!why!?" said the second dwarf.
"Look, there was a window, but it was artificially planked to be nailed tightly! There was not even a window in such a big factory! And there was a smell of blood! And it was close to the place where the mysterious phenomenon took place!" said the dwarf boss.
"It's kind of reasonable, it's a little suspicious!" said the second dwarf.
"Look, there's some scrap of metal over there!" said the Czechs, finding one.
Five people walked towards a pile of metal scrap on the side of the factory.
The dwarf boss looked through the pile of metal scrap and made a startling discovery.
"Isn't this metal scrap just part of some car, it's shredded and even twisted, but it's still visible," said the dwarf boss.
The Czechs thought with some surprise and scanned the pile of scrap and found that it was indeed some car parts, and some signs that resembled car plates were detected in them.
"Oh, these are indeed car parts! I scanned some car-like logos in them!" the Czech said.
This will make everyone deeply suspicious of this factory.
"Well, and why doesn't the factory work during the day?
"Let's go inside and see what's going on!" said the second dwarf.
"No, if we are discovered, we will be thieves," said the dwarf boss.
The five men wandered around the factory for other clues.
At this point, they found a police car in the corner of the factory that had overturned on its side. The police car was a bit dilapidated and old, and the rear of the car was buried with some debris.
When the dwarf boss looked into the car, he was startled. The others saw the dwarf boss's shocked expression and looked into the police car. Immediately, the others were also terrified and swallowed a mouthful of saliva.
Inside the car were five white skeletons in police uniforms, and they were covered with cobwebs.
The dwarf boss saw that the bag in front of a policeman's chest was a little bulging, so he boldly reached into the car to get the contents of the bag.
"Police card!Newcastle Town Police Commissioner!Hedon Svenka!" the dwarf boss read, reading.
The dwarf boss looked around, trying to figure out where the police car was coming from. The dwarfs came in by the path, and found no other way.
Suddenly, the dwarf boss saw a path hidden by dense grass, big enough for a car to drive in. Now there are some barricades and grass that completely block the road.
"It must have something to do with the police station here, at least they checked it before! So we'd better go to the police station and investigate!" said the dwarf boss.
"How are we going to investigate! We have to find a way! Otherwise, how can the police let us investigate!" said the Czech.
The dwarf boss pondered, thinking about how to investigate.
"Why don't we pretend to be reporters?" said the Czech.
"What is a journalist!?" asked the dwarf boss.
The Czech Republic was a little depressed when he heard this, he didn't expect that the dwarfs didn't even know what a reporter was.
"A journalist is an errand boy sent by a certain television station to cover some events! and has some rights to interview special agencies!" the Czech Republic explained.
The four dwarfs listened with some understanding, shaking their heads and nodding their heads.
"Okay, whether you understand it or not, as long as we have some equipment!" the Czech said.
"What equipment?" said the dwarf boss.
"Some photographic equipment!" the Czech said.
The five of them came to the town and went to a camera shop to buy some cameras and microphones.
"Alright! now distribute!" said the Czech, handing out the camera equipment to the dwarfs and teaching them how to use them.
"Wait! You use camera equipment! I'll do the interview!" the Czech said, putting some signs on the camera equipment to pretend to be a TV station.
They went to the police station several times to no avail, and finally they really didn't have a way.
"Is it!" the Czech said depressedly, throwing the microphone to the ground.
They sat in a hotel room with nothing to do.
At this point, a newspaper catches the attention of the dwarf boss.
"Oh, Hodden Densven is alive! incredible!" the dwarf boss shouted in surprise as he looked at the headlines of the paper.
"Who! who is still alive! Why are you so surprised!?" asked the Czech curiously.
"Who else! the police chief we found in the factory!" said the dwarf boss.
"He's still alive! Who is that policeman who died?" said the Czech, puzzled.
"No! it's not Hoden Svenka who is alive now! it's a fake!" said the dwarf boss.
Suddenly, a great idea came to the Czechs.
"Let's go interview the pretending police chief, he must know something," the Czech said.
The five of them squatted near the police station, waiting for the chief to come out.
Their wait was not in vain, and the chief of police came out. The Czechs and the dwarfs found the right moment and rushed up to surround the chief.
Some police officers rushed to stop the dwarfs and the Czechs, but they just couldn't get out.
"What do you think of the case of the two-kilometer forest factory in the southern suburbs!?" asked the Czech, shoving the microphone into the director.
"I don't know!" said the director, trying to get into the car, but was blocked by the dwarf boss with a camera.
The Czech Republic still asked again and again, which made the director a little annoyed.
The director's face was unpleasant, and his eyes flashed red.
"Okay, come with me to the office!" I told you," the director said impatiently.
The five followed the director to the office.
"How do you know!?, that case!" said the director, cocking his legs.
"If! I'm not mistaken! You're not Hoden Svenka! You're impersonating! He's already dead!" the Czech said.
The director didn't expect to be exposed, so he was annoyed and angry, and his eyes glowed red.
"Hmph, now that you know, there's only death," the director said, sending out a cloud of black fury at the dwarfs.
The dwarfs dodge with overdrive magic and attack demons with fire magic.
The demon jumped out of the window and fled.
"What to do! it fled!" said the second dwarf.
The four dwarfs looked out the window and were nowhere to be seen.
"It can't escape!" said the dwarf boss tonight, let's go to the factory to find out."
When night came, the dwarfs rushed to the factory two kilometers south of the city.
When they approached, they were stunned. The workers inside and outside the factory are not humans, but a group of demons.
"Who's there?!!" It was as if a leading demon had spotted the dwarfs and walked towards them and cried.
