Chapter 14: Babaru's distress signal

The dwarfs strode into the house, pretending to be very disdainful.

"Don't hurry up to see Your Majesty!" said one of the guards, who stood beside the King.

The dwarfs drank their tea and pretended not to hear.

"What! you dare to ignore the king!" cried the guard.

"Ah, what are you talking about?" said the king.

The guard closed his mouth and looked dazed.

"No need to salute! I should apologize to you! I'm sorry to misunderstand you," said the king, and was about to bow when he was stopped by the dwarf boss.

"You are the king of our country!" said the dwarf boss.

"Actually, Your Majesty has come this time to ask for something!" said Gelf.

"Your Majesty, what's the matter, we can do it for you!" said the dwarf boss bluntly.

"Hey! That's what it looks like! Yesterday, we received a distress signal from our own Babalu gold exploration team, it may be that our lives are in danger, and we asked me to send someone to rescue them! I think you four dwarfs are strong in magic and brave in battle......" The king was interrupted by the dwarf before he could finish his sentence.

"Your Majesty, I'm sorry! We're not your subjects! We can't promise such a thing," said the dwarf boss.

"I can pay you!!, and count as many coins as you want!?" said the king, ordering a box of gold coins to be carried in.

"We don't want anything! Your request! we can't say yes!" said the dwarf boss.

"Why!?" asked the king.

"We have important things to do!" said the second dwarf.

"I'm guessing you're practicing metallurgy!!?" the king asked.

"Your Majesty!, how do you know!?" said the dwarf boss in surprise.

"I guessed!" said the king. In fact, he had already asked Cherf.

"So be it, there is a golden book of magic in the treasury of the kingdom, and if you agree to my request, I will give it to you!" said the king.

The dwarf froze, as if hesitating about something.

"I think that magic book will be very helpful for your practice, and there are mysterious magic that are not recorded in other magic books!" The king saw that the dwarfs were indifferent, and he used it to seduce them.

The dwarfs walked together and began to discuss, and they were whispering.

When the king saw that they had at last moved, he rejoiced in his heart.

"I have never appealed to the people of another country!" thought the king, with a smug smile on his face.

"Boss, I don't think we know where the ghosts are now!We can't find them yet!Why don't you promise him first!" said the second dwarf.

"If you can't find it, you have to find it as soon as possible!, or I don't know how many people will die!" said the dwarf boss.

"Shall we find it as we promise him?" said the third dwarf.

"Yes, it's not a delay at all!" said the fourth dwarf.

"All right, I promise you!" said the dwarf boss to the king.

"Is that right, this box of gold coins for you," said the king.

The four dwarfs went out into the street with the king.

"This squad of mechanical soldiers is your retinue! to deal with the enemy!" said the King, pointing to one place.

"Click, click!" a troop of robotic soldiers was approaching from one place. I saw that they were holding a large laser cannon in their hands, and their eyes were burning with blue light, as if they were scanning something.

"You don't need such a strong force!" said the dwarf boss.

"This time your mission is extraordinary, and you may encounter many dangers!" said the king.

The four dwarfs were amazed! How dangerous it would be to send such a force.

"There are also four buggies, all of them modified, with two beam guns in front! and a hidden uranium particle beam cannon in the back! only one, don't use them until the critical moment," said the king.

"If you can get the Babalu Gold Exploration Team back safely, these four cars will be given to you! In addition, this car has an LCD monitor, marked with a navigation map, and will automatically detect the location of the Babalu Gold Exploration Team. The king said again.

The four dwarfs got into the buggy and set off with a team of robots.

Four off-road vehicles sped across the ground, rolling up puffs of sand. Follow the robot troops behind them, stepping out one footprint after another.

Soon they passed through a forest, and the leaves of the trees were star-shaped, and they looked a little yellow. Suddenly, a light rain fell, and one by one the raindrops hit the yellow leaves, making a clattering sound.

In an instant, a black waterproof leather suit bounced up from the back of the car, covering the dwarf.

The dwarfs looked at each other and wondered how this raincoat was worn.

"Boss, why are the leaves of the trees here yellow!?isn't it spring?" asked the second dwarf.

"It's a slight acid rain," said the dwarf boss.

"Boss, how do you know?" said the second dwarf.

"Stupid! It's all marked on the LCD!" said the dwarf boss.

The second dwarf looked at the monitor, and sure enough, there was a yellow rain cloud, and acid rain was written under the cloud. In addition to this, a navigation map is displayed that identifies their current location and the location of the Babaru Detectives.

"Boss, how far are we from the Golden Exploration Team!?" asked the third dwarf.

"There's still a long way to go! The monitor shows them in the sea!" said the dwarf boss.

The four dwarfs flew up a large hill in an off-road vehicle and then flew into the air and fell to the ground.

"Bang!" a rocket suddenly came at the dwarfs. Four off-road vehicles hurriedly dodged and stopped aside. A mechanical soldier is blown up, and parts are scattered all over the ground.

"Who the hell is it!?" shouted the dwarf boss.

Suddenly, several rockets were fired, intercepted by the laser cannons of the mechanical soldiers, and exploded in midair. The mechoid probes in the direction the rocket is coming from, spotting a target hiding behind a small hill. More than two dozen mechanical soldiers attacked in that direction at the same time, and a beam of beam cannons blasted towards the small hill, directly leveling the small hill. I heard only dozens of screams in the distance, and then thick smoke ignited.

The four dwarfs froze, struck by the might of the mechanical soldiers.

The dwarf drove the buggy on, passing through a sandy area.

"Boss!" there are a dozen red dots on the monitor, which looks like they're approaching us," said the second dwarf.

"Attention, everyone! it could be an enemy!" said the dwarf boss.

As they drove into the center of the sand, they were knocked away by several currents of energy from underground.

The four dwarfs fell to the ground, and the car spun a few meters away.

"Xiu Xiu Xiu" round laser darts like folding fans flew towards the mechanical troops. It was so fast that before the mechanical soldiers could react, they split them into several pieces.

Strangely shaped aliens burst out of the ground and surrounded the dwarfs.

The laser darts flew back into the alien's body, sticking directly into their backs.

"Boss, what are we going to do now!" said the second dwarf.
