Chapter Thirty-Eight: A Sudden War

"Bang......!" The four dwarfs were slammed back by a barrier.

"Boss, we have no way back!" said the second dwarf, his body trembling.

"Roar!......" Thousands of demons with open mouths and sharp teeth struck the dwarfs.

Suddenly, demonic vines burst out on the ground, they were two meters thick, and they also had large mouths of blood, and they kept writhing.

The old dwarf ambassador had a magic vine of wood magic, forming a wall around the vine to protect them.

The demons continued to unleash their ultimate, and some of them were broken by sharp weapons or sharp teeth, spewing out streams of viscous liquid stained the demons.

The dwarfs have been circling the entire Demon Domain, trying to avoid the pursuit of the demons.

As the dwarfs ran, some vines burst from the ground wherever they ran, fending off the onslaught of the pursuing demons.

Groups of demons only increased and followed the dwarfs relentlessly.

"Ho-ho-......," the dwarfs paused, gasping for air.

"Boss, how are these demons chasing us!, what are we going to do?" said the second dwarf.

"I wanted to go back to the entrance, but not anymore! There are too many demons!I'm running out of mana!" said the dwarf boss.

"Roar, roar, roar, ......" The demons chased after him again.

The second dwarf was very quick to use a wood magic vine to block the demons' attacks.

"Listen, everyone! now the only way out is to bombard this barrier with magic together! Hopefully we can escape!" said the dwarf boss, gasping and sweating from his face.

"Ah...... the four dwarfs used all their mana to bombard the barrier.

"Bang!"

When the dwarfs wake up, they find themselves next to a wooden dumpster.

"Boss, wake up, it's raining, we're going to find a place to hide from the rain," said the second dwarf, looking at the cloudy sky, and patting the dwarf boss on the shoulder.

"Whew!" began to drizzle in the sky. A drop of rain hit the dwarf boss's face, causing him to slowly regain his senses and open his eyes.

"Boss, you're awake at last!" said the second dwarf.

"I guess we'll find a place to hide from the rain!" said the dwarf boss.

The four dwarfs were running down the street looking for a place to hide, when they came across a group of soldiers.

"Who are you!?" the soldiers asked.

"Oh! these guys are General Bode's nemesis! Arrest them!" said one of the soldiers' leaders.

"Ah...... Yikes!" Several soldiers who lunged on the dwarf were knocked down.

"Don't be arrogant, boys," one of the soldiers' leaders knocked the dwarfs down in three or two strokes.

"I didn't think we had become so weak!" thought the dwarf boss as he tried to break free from the hands that had been clasped by the soldiers, and his eyes showed resentment.

The soldiers took the dwarfs to a barracks.

"Who are these?" said a man dressed like a soothsayer, fiddling with a glass ball, sitting in an office chair.

"Chief, these men fought General Pod before he disappeared!" said the captain of the soldiers.

"Oh, lock it up first, and leave it to the king tomorrow," said the soothsayer, holding the orb and looking at the dwarfs with some surprise.

"Smack!" a large iron door locked the dwarfs from them.

"Hey, why are you arresting people at will!!Let us out!" shouted the second dwarf as he kicked the iron door.

"Don't shout! there's just a place to hide from the rain!" said the dwarf boss, pulling out a silver bottle of wine from his body.

"Boss, let's get out!" said the third dwarf, disgusted by the stench of the prison.

"Forget it! we're exhausted! We can't beat even a normal person now!" said the dwarf boss, taking a sip of his wine.

The next morning, the sky was still cloudy. The dreary weather mixed with the foul smell made the dwarfs breathe slowly and heavily.

"Click!" the big iron door opened!

"Hey, don't sleep, get up!" a few soldiers kicked the dwarf lying on the ground.

The dwarfs got into a truck and came to the palace.

"Get down on your knees!" the soldiers kicked the dwarf's knee.

"Oh, who are these!, why did you bring them into the palace?" said King Kalongwa.

"Your Majesty! these men fought General Bode before his disappearance, and it is estimated that they killed General Bode," said the soothsayer, facing the king.

"What! in prison, in execution!" said the king, angrily.

The dwarfs were dragged away from the main hall by the soldiers.

At this moment, a captain of soldiers ran into the palace.

"Your Majesty, a big thing is not good! Not long ago, the small town of Turkwa that we occupied was taken away again, and the king of Turka has entangled the small countries around him and threatened to attack his country!" said the captain of the soldiers.

"Oh, what exact time is it?" said the king, with some panic.

"Tell your majesty, tomorrow, the army of Tulwa may arrive," said the captain of the soldiers.

"What can I do?" said the king.

"I think Turka must have known about General Bode's disappearance!, so he dared to attack," said the soothsayer, looking at the dwarfs who were about to be dragged out.

"Your Majesty, they're going to die anyway!, why don't you arrange these four people as the four god generals first, and you can also shield us!" said the soothsayer.

"Oh, there are four of them!, I don't think it's very right!" said the king, looking at the dwarf, who was a little unsteady on his feet.

"Your Majesty! How dare they fight General Bode! Then they must not be ordinary people! There is no one to take this place for the time being!" said the soothsayer.

"Well, give you a good death, soldiers, change the armor of these four men!" said the king.

The next morning, in the midst of a drizzle, the kingdom of Kalongwa ushered in a great battle.

A muddy earth was mixed with the sound of weapons and the smell of gunpowder in the air.

The gates were opened in a few moments, and a stream of Tulwa soldiers rushed into the city.

"Listen, all of you, let's take refuge in the hut, some of us will be in charge of diverting the Turkish soldiers, and some will give them a heavy blow from behind!" said the dwarf boss commandingly.

The soldiers then took refuge in wooden huts, while others hid in garbage bins to prepare for a sneak attack.

"Da-la!" groups of Turkish soldiers poured into the streets.

"Hmph! I thought I could sneak up on me!" thought the Turva Commander Toweis, ordering his soldiers to shoot directly at the garbage cans in the street.

"Ah......hh

"Boss! they seem to have discovered our plan!" said the second dwarf, listening to the screams outside the cabin.

"Let's do what we can to protect the people here!" said the dwarf boss, continuing the rainwater that was leaking through the cracks in the hut.

"Bang!" a bullet struck the dwarf boss in the shoulder.

"Boss, how are you, they seem to have spotted us!" the dwarf second covered the wound on the boss's shoulder.

"Bang!" a bullet hit the second child in the leg again.

"You'd better come out obediently!" shouted the Turva Commander Tovis.

"Boss, how did they know we were hiding here so easily," said the third dwarf, a little panicked, because he had never used a firearm, so the gun in his hand had not yet been triggered.

"Bang bang ......" followed by several gunshots.
