Chapter Eighty-Five: The sky in a foreign country is not the same blue

The cruise ship traveled on the Potomac River, and after a week-long voyage, the cruise crossed the Pacific Ocean and reached Washington, the capital of the United States. Washington is not near the sea, but it is close to the Potomac River.

The speed of the cruise ship gradually slowed down, and a loud whistle informed the port that a ship was coming.

The deck was full of people, including the Kevins.

"Can't you really come to our house as a guest?"

"We're just staying for a short time, and we're going to be back with the cruise. Kevin said helplessly,

"Alright!" the little girl's tone was full of depression,

Kevin really hasn't met a girl like a little girl, it's very pestering, Kevin is sometimes pestered impatiently, and it's not good to attack out of gentlemanly demeanor.

"Oh, Anna, you can write often, and you can invite Kevin to come to the United States while he is free. The little girl's father saw that his daughter was in a low mood, so he comforted,

"Really, Daddy!" the little girl's eyes lit up.

"Of course, we'd love to have Kevin play with you, Anna. Without waiting for Anna's father to answer, Teresa answered.

Ever since Teresa met Anna, she has often complained about why Kevin is not her daughter. When Kevin heard it, he was very helpless, blame me for the wrong gender?

With the sound of the ship's whistle, the huge cruise ship docked. Kevin's family took Anna's family to port. As in the UK, there is a high-level passage to the deck on this side of the port, and the Kevin family sent Anna's family to the exit, and Anna's family said goodbye to Kevin's family, and Anna looked reluctant.

"Kevin, you have to remember to write to me!" said Anna pitifully,

Kevin propped his forehead and nodded. Anna got into the taxi with her parents step by step.

Finally sending her away, Kevin breathed a sigh of relief. When Teresa saw Kevin like this, she laughed out loud and said to Adam, "It seems that our Kevin is very popular with girls!"

Adam nodded casually, Kevin was speechless, and turned to leave. Teresa hurriedly grabbed him,

"We're going to have a good walk around Washington, D.C., where the cruise ship is going to stop for three days. โ€

"So what are you going to shop for?" asked Kevin,

"Why don't you go visit the White House?!" Adam suggested, and Teresa immediately agreed, Kevin didn't care, let them be happy before he could make a request.

In this way, the first day of arriving in Washington passed in Kevin, Adam, and Teresa.

They didn't return until late in the evening, and Theresa Adam and Kevin were carrying a lot of shopping bagsโ€”all bought by Teresa.

Although, there are also those that are bought for Kevin and Adam, but Kevin really has to say, are women really so keen on shopping?

The next day, the sun was half-hanging in the sky, exuding lukewarm temperatures. Kevin got up early in the morning, put on his backpack, said hello to Adam and ran out, as for Teresa, let Adam tell her, otherwise maybe Kevin won't be able to leave.

Adam probably knew Kevin's thoughts as well, so he agreed with a smile and waved his hand for Kevin to hurry up.

With his backpack on his back, Kevin rushed to Washington amid the greetings of the waiters on the cruise ship. Because the port is still far from the city center, Kevin knows that it is better for the wizarding world to be hidden in places with few people, so let go of his perception all the way, where the magic is strong, then there should be the wizarding world.

I just searched for it, and I didn't find it for half a morning. Kevin was a little frustrated, and as he passed by a shabby-looking store, Kevin felt a hint of magic fluctuations.

Kevin immediately stopped and came to the door of the store. Gray-yellow wooden door, with a poster on the door depicting a gentleman with a pipe in his mouth.

When Kevin was facing the door of the store, he saw that the face on the poster had changed to a straight face, looking at Kevin, just like those moving pictures in the newspapers of the wizarding world.

Kevin breathed a sigh of relief and finally found something to do with magic.

"Wand!" Spit out the word from the mouth of the gentleman in the poster.

Kevin then realized that he had to clear the secret language. Kevin looked around and saw that no one was passing, so he took out his wand from his sleeve and held it up next to his head, the gentleman looked at it, then turned back to the way Kevin first saw him, and the door opened.

As soon as Kevin walked in, he noticed that the guests sitting inside were all looking at Kevin. Kevin looked closely, only to see that it was a bar.

"Oh, where is this little wizard, your parents!" the voice came before the person arrived.

I saw a woman in a purple dress coming around from behind the bar, with a bewitching figure and big eyes blinking.

Kevin was a little chilly, and he winked at the child, which was funny? But Kevin still said politely,

"Hello, I'm a new visitor to Washington, could I ask where the wizarding mall is on your side?"

"Hehehaha, oh, a little wizard from England. She blinked her eyes and said softly, "What are you doing on the shopping street? Looking for Mom and Dad?"

The guests behind her laughed, and Kevin wasn't angry because they were all good-natured laughter.

"It's the first time I've come to the United States, so I want to go shopping, and my parents are busy with something~" Kevin replied half-truthfully, although this person has no malicious intentions, but the heart of defense is indispensable.

"Oh, well, well, come with me. As he spoke, he led his way to the bar.

Kevin was brought to the fireplace, and the woman was looking at him with a smile.

"The fireplace will work, right?" After getting Kevin's affirmation, she pointed to the Floo powder on the side, "Well, go ahead, the shopping street is called Hank Street." โ€

"Thanks, how much do I have to pay?" Kevin asked,

"No, we welcome wizards from other places, so it's free this time. โ€

Kevin hesitated for a moment, then accepted her kindness,

"Thank you!"

The woman nodded, and returned to the back of the bar.

Kevin pulled out a handful of Floo powder from the jar and shouted,

"Hank Street!"

The green flames engulfed Kevin in an instant, and then, leaving only a trail of smoke and dust.
