Chapter Forty-Eight: The Spider's Escape Plan

Kevin has been teaching Terry and Mike to sense their own magic these days, and unlike Kevin, they both have a magic base, but although wizards can feel magic fluctuations, they can't feel it unless it's a violent magic fluctuation, such as a magic riot.

What Kevin has to do is to let the two of them first sense their own magic, then sense the elemental magic that exists in the outside world, and finally use their own magic power as a guide to absorb the elemental magic of the outside world. However, Terry and Mike, who have been sensing for several days and still not have enough induction, makes the two a little discouraged, and Kevin comforts them and tells them to take their time.

On this day, Kevin finished his Transfiguration class with Terry and Mike, and was on his way back to his dorm.

"Kevin, your transfiguration is amazing. I didn't even manage to turn that mouse into a cup. How did you do that?" said the three of them as they walked forward.

I came to the place where Lady Loris had an accident that day. Kevin saw Harry, Hermione, and Ryan standing there talking.

"Hey, Harry, Hermione, and Jon!" Kevin greeted,

"Hey, Kevin, hello!" the three replied,

"Hello!" Terry and Mike greeted as well.

"You... What are you doing here?" Kevin asked,

"Hmm... This, nothing!" Ryan said hesitantly, looking at Kevin. Harry stood awkwardly.

Kevin turned back to Terry and Mike and said, "Why don't you go back first? I still have questions to discuss with Miss Granger!"

Terry and Mike nodded, "Alright then, I'll see you later." See you soon!"

"Goodbye!" After saying goodbye, the two of them walked through the corridor and hurried away. Kevin raised an eyebrow, it seemed that they were also affected by the rumors, Kevin thought.

Seeing the two leave, Harrytamon breathed a sigh of relief. Kevin looked at them steadily, "Say, what are you doing here, don't tell me I'm just passing by." ”

Jon was a little embarrassed, and Hermione said, "Let's look for traces and see what made Filch's cat look like that, but it's hard to say." Harry nodded, a little embarrassed. After all, they just behaved a little bit of a distrustful of Kevin's friend.

"Okay, so what did you find?" Kevin forgave them, human nature, so he asked,

"Before we even started looking, you guys came here. Harry said.

"So, I'll take a look at it for you. ”

"yes! That's great. All three were a little happy, after all, Kevin was still very reliable.

Then the four of them began to look for it. "Filch has been standing guard here. Ron whispered. They exchanged glances. Harry lay on the ground, Hermione looked around, and Kevin went to the torch to observe. Then Harry's voice was heard

"Scorched marks!" He said

"Here!And here!!"

"Come and see this!" Hermione said, "It's funny..."

Harry got up, and Kevin and Ryan walked to the window next to the words on the wall. Hermione pointed to the top piece of glass, where about twenty spiders were crawling in a panic, seemingly eager to get out of a small crack in the glass. A long silver wire hung down like a rope, and it seemed that it was through this wire that they hurried up and fled out of the window.

"Have you ever seen a spider like this?" Hermione asked, puzzled.

"No," said Harry,

Kevin shook his head at Hermione's gaze, indicating that he hadn't encountered it either.

"What about you, Ron?" asked Hermione,

She turned her head. Ron stood far behind, seemingly resisting the urge to escape. "What's wrong?" Harry asked. "I... Don't like... Dislike... Spider. Ron said nervously. ''I've never heard of that,'' Hermione said, looking at Ron in surprise, "You've used spiders so many times in Potions class.."" I don't care about dead spiders," Ron said, carefully looking away from the window, "I just don't like the way they crawl..."

Hermione giggled, Kevin wanted to laugh too, but he held back, everyone has something nasty.

"What's so funny," Ron said irritatedly, "you know, when I was three years old, Fred threw mine because I broke his toy broom?" My teddy bear turned into a big ugly spider. If you've had an experience like mine, you won't like them, if you're holding your teddy bear and all of a sudden it comes out with a lot of legs, and.."

He shuddered, and couldn't go on. Hermione was clearly still laughing. Harry decided that they had better not talk about it, so he said, "Remember that water on the ground? Where did it come from? ”

"Probably right here," Ron said, slowing down as he walked past Filch's chair and pointed to them, "parallel to this door." He reached for the brass spherical handle, but suddenly retracted his hand as if it had been burned by fire. "What's going on?" Harry asked. "Can't go in," Ron said unhappily, "it's the girls' bathroom." "Oh, Ron, there's no one in there. Hermione said. She straightened up and walked over, "This is the territory of the weeping myrtle." Come on, let's go in and have a look. She ignored the big sign with the word "Fault" written on it and pushed the door open.

Kevin followed him in, and the weeping myrtle, whom he had also heard, was the ghost of Hufflepuff, who was said to have become after the death of the student.

This is the darkest and dreary place Kevin has ever visited. Beneath a large, stained, cracked mirror is a row of stone pools with peeling surfaces. The floor was wet, and a few candle heads burned low on the brackets, emitting a dim light that made the floor gloomy. The wooden doors of the single rooms were peeling and scratched, and one of the doors had its hinges broken off and hung waddling there...
