Chapter 7: Wands and Books

As soon as Kevin came in, he sensed a strong magical aura! all kinds of attributes and magical powers! Like, just like the mage tower of the Elemental Continent!

A very old-looking man with silver-gray messy hair came out of the shelf, and when he approached, he found that his eyes were also silver-gray!

"Oh, Professor McGonagall, I suppose you're leading the freshmen to buy wands?" said the old man

"Yes, Mr. Ollivanders, little Mr. Albert needs a wand!" said Professor McGonagall, introducing Kevin beside him!

Ollivanders' eyes turned to Kevin.

"Oh, little Mr. Albert, may I ask you which hand you are used to?"

"Left hand!"

"Oh, yes, left-handed, then we need to measure!" said Ollivander as he pulled a measuring tape from his pocket.

Ollivander was busy with Kevin!, then stood up, walked to a wall, pulled a box from it, and opened it, pulling out the wand inside!

"Walnut, dragon's heartstrings, a powerful wand!" he said, handing it to Kevin!

This is the staff of this world? simple but convenient. In the Elemental Continent, the staff is not half a human height, and the head of the staff is not inlaid with elemental gems, so it is not a wand!

Kevin thought as he waved his wand! Kevin felt the magic rush into his wand, and then the head of the wand emitted a red light, shattering the vase on the counter.

"Oh, of course it won't work!" Ollivander snatched the wand, put it on the counter, and walked to the shelf in the back room, pulling out a box out of nowhere, and handed the wand to Kevin!

This time the curtains were burning, and Professor McGonagall used magic to extinguish them!

Half an hour passed, and Kevin tried on a dozen wands!

When Kevin was about to give up, he grabbed a white wand! Then, the ice-blue light swirled around Kevin, and finally turned into pieces of ice flowers and floated down from the sky!

"Oh, it's amazing! it's amazing!" said Ollivander excitedly!

"Birch, Quetzalcoatl! Twelve inches! You're going to be a great wizard in the future!" Ollivander said to Kevin!

Kevin was still immersed in the feeling he had just had! The magic poured into the wand uncontrollably and then flowed back into his body! The ice element seemed to be bonus! It even affected the weather in the wand shop!

Kevin came to his senses.

"Oh, thank you, how much does this wand cost?"

"Ten gold gallons!"

"Okay!!" said Kevin, pulling out ten gold gallons from his money bag and paying the bill!

Kevin and Professor McGonagall walked out of the wand shop and headed for the bookstore around the corner!

When Mr. and Mrs. Albert arrived, the group walked into the Blotted bookstore!

The bookstore owner saw Professor McGonagall.

"Freshman, is it? Professor McGonagall?"

"Yes!"

"Oh, then I'll go get the book!!" said the bookstore owner, walking inside!

"Can you just take a look?" asked Kevin

"Of course!" said the boss, poking his head out of the room.

Kevin walked over to the bookshelf and looked at the books "A Modern History of Magic", "Practical Life Spells", "Me and the Snowman in Tibet", ......

Kevin looked at a book and ended up buying A History of Hogwarts, The Origins of Magic, Where Are the Magical Creatures, and Magic and Spells

When Kevin came to the counter with the book in his arms, the bookstore owner had already taken the books on the list!

"Oh, it looks like a Ravenclaw!" said the bookstore owner judgmentally when he saw the book Kevin had brought in.

"It's five Galleons in total, and twelve silver sicos!"

Kevin paid, picked up the book, and walked out of the bookstore!

It took the Alberts an afternoon to get everything they needed!

The Dusk sky, dark and mysterious! Albert's family stood at the door of the Leaky Cauldron to say goodbye to Professor McGonagall.

"Little Mr. Albert, this is a Hogwarts Express ticket!

"Okay, thank you, Professor McGonagall!"

"Thank you, Professor McGonagall!" Adam and Teresa thanked Professor McGonagall as well!

"You're welcome, then, goodbye guys!" Professor McGonagall said goodbye

"Goodbye!" replied the Alberts

Carrying their things, the Alberts got into a car and drove in the direction of their home.
