Chapter Seventy-Seven: It turns out that the little fresh meat is Voldemort

When Kevin woke up, it was already the next day. Harry and Ginny had gotten up before Kevin, and were sitting in their beds talking down the aisle.

Seeing that Kevin was awake, Harry looked at him with a smile,

"Hey, Kevin!

"Good afternoon Kevin!" this is Ginny, who looks much better, no longer pale, and has a little more smile on her face.

Kevin felt his own situation, and his magic power had almost recovered, but Mrs. Pang Lei was afraid that she would not let him go easily and let him be discharged from the hospital.

Kevin sat up, half-lying. Started asking Harry, something.

"Harry, who the hell is that Riddle? I've never seen him in any house. โ€

"Actually... Actuallyโ€”" Harry was a little hesitant, "he's Voldemort!"

"What?!" Kevin guessed, he didn't expect Ginny to react so much, it seems that she didn't know that the boy was Voldemort. The face, which was originally a little bloody, turned pale again.

"He's Voldemort, but he's gone, Ginny, you're safe now!" Kevin comforted,

Harry nodded as Ginny relaxed.

"And how do you know?" Kevin then asked,

"He said it himself, and he drew his name with a wand, and it was 'I'm Voldemort'" Harry took a deep breath and continued, "He said he was a memory that Voldemort kept in his notebook, and it was he who opened the Chamber of Secrets fifty years ago, killed Myrtle, and planted it for Hagrid!"

"Poor Hagrid, he's still in Azkaban!" said Ginny.

"So, how did that notebook end up in Ginny's hand?" Kevin looked at Ginny,

"I... I didn't know it, but when we got home from Diagon Alley, I found an extra blank notebook that I thought my mom had bought. So, I brought it to Hogwarts. Later, Riddle appeared, and I thought he was just a magic item, and I believed him!, however, he took control of me, and after a series of attacks, I threw my notebook into Myrtle's bathroom!" Ginny cried again,

"So, I found the notebook in the bathroom!" Harry snapped into his senses, "So you were the one who entered our dorm room and took the notebook?"

Ginny cried and nodded, "I'm afraid Riddle told you that I opened the Chamber of Secrets... So I went and stole the notebook while you were away, but I didn't expect Riddle to take control of me again, and then when I woke up, I saw you. โ€

"I'm sorry, Harry, I'm sorry, Kevin, I didn't mean to..."Ginny choked up and apologized, and Kevin couldn't bear to blame her.

"It's not your fault, Ginny, I've talked to Riddle too, he's so convincing!" said Harry.

Just then, the door to the medical wing was pushed open, and a rush of footsteps approached. When the visitors walked through the curtain, Kevin and the others saw them.

It was Mrs. Weasley, and as soon as she saw Ginny, she quickly ran over, followed by Mr. Weasley, and both of them stretched out their arms at the same time and put their arms around their precious daughter.

Kevin's gaze passed over them and looked in the direction they had come. Professor Dumbledore stood there smiling, and next to him was Professor McGonagall, who was also smiling, which was a rare sight. At this moment, Kevin found himself being held tightly by Jon.

"Thank you, brother, thank you for saving my sister!" Jon's voice whispered in his ear.

Kevin was almost out of breath when he was hugged, so he said,

"Oh, dear Jon, if you repay me by strangling me, then you have succeeded!"

On the other side, Harry was also being held by Mrs. Weasley, and the head on Mrs. Weasley's shoulder was looking at Kevin pitifully,

Before Kevin could laugh, he was embraced by Mrs. Weasley, who was like a gust of wind.

"You saved her, you saved her, what did you do?" asked Mrs. Weasley,

"That's what we all want to know. Professor McGonagall added.

Mrs. Weasley let go of Kevin, who looked at Harry and motioned for him to speak.

Then he began to tell them what had happened. He spoke for about a quarter of an hour, and everyone listened attentively, and the room was silent. He recounts that he always hears the discorporeal, geist-like voice, and that Hermione and Kevin finally realize that what he hears is the sound of a basilisk lurking in a water pipe, and that he and Ron once followed the spider into the Forbidden Forest, and that Aragog told them where the last victim of the basilisk was killed, and he guessed that the weeping myrtle was the victim, and that the entrance to the chamber was probably in her bathroom...

"Very well," Professor McGonagall encouraged him to go on as he paused, "so you found out where the entrance was? I must add that you broke more than a hundred school rules along the way! But how the hell did you get out of there, Potter?"

So Harry continued, his voice hoarse from the incessant talking. He tells them how Fawkes arrived in time and how Kevin showed up in time and killed the basilisk. But then, his voice became hesitant.

He had avoided mentioning Riddle's diary earlier, mentioning Ginny. At this moment, Ginny was standing there, resting her head on Mrs. Weasley's shoulder, tears still silently rolling down her cheeks.

What if they fired her?' Harry thought nervously. Riddle's diary has failed... How could they prove that Riddle had forced her to do all of that?, Harry instinctively looked at Dumbledore, only to see the Headmaster smile faintly, the fire flashing rapidly on the lenses of his half-moon glasses.

"What interests me most," said Dumbledore mildly, "is how Voldemort used to confuse Ginny, for according to my sources, he is currently hiding in the Albanian forest." โ€

"What... What?" Mrs. Weasley said in a stunned voice, "Mysteriously, bewildered Ginny, but Ginny wasn't. Ginny didn't. Really?"

"It's all the journal," Harry said quickly, "it was written when Riddle was sixteen." โ€

Professor McGonagall took out a cloth bag from somewhere, and when she opened it, it was the journal.

"Is this the one?" Mr. Potter?"

Dumbledore took the journal from Professor McGonagall's hand, his gaze shooting down his long hooked nose, staring intently at the wet, charred pages.
