Chapter Eighty-Four: I Met You in the North Sea

Early the next morning, Kevin woke up from meditation. Pushing open the window, the weather outside was a little gloomy. Britain is cloudy for most of the time, and the sunshine on the day Kevin and his ship is rare.

After Kevin washed up, he went to the restaurant alone to finish his meal. Adam and Teresa are like they're on their honeymoon, sticking together every day, as if Kevin is traveling alone.

Kevin walked onto the deck, and there weren't many people on the deck at this time. Kevin walked to the railing, the sea was a little dark against the color of the sky, and the seagulls were happily flying around the cruise ship.

Kevin was blowing the cool sea breeze, and some of the depression in his heart was dispersed by the sea breeze, and the whole person relaxed.

However, I don't know if it's the weather, Kevin clearly felt the temperature drop. The weather was getting gloomy, and the few people on deck were gone. Kevin was about to return to the cabin, but suddenly saw a small island some distance from the cruise ship, and there was a building on the island.

The surging waves crashed against the reef, and the gray masonry cast the tall building, almost entirely geometric, like a triangular prism, and the gray weather added a gray atmosphere to the building, as if the happiness of the world would turn to ashes here.

Kevin's attraction was not why there was a building like this on the remote North Coast, but the magical enchantment that dotted the island and the surrounding sea, and the rags that flew around the building.

Superman's eyesight allowed Kevin to see the scene there quite clearly. The black rag-like creature was definitely not human, and Kevin recalled in his mind a magical creature he had seen in a book.

It was determined that it was a Dementor, but there would be such magical creatures in the whole wizarding world that no one liked, and only Azkaban ——— prison in the wizarding world.

Kevin didn't expect that a cruise ship from the ordinary world's world would pass through this place. Kevin knew that there was such a creature, and originally thought that he would never meet this creature in his life.

Kevin hurriedly returned to the cabin and closed the door, Kevin didn't want to attract this dark creature to come, he had seen in the book that the spell that could drive away this creature was called the Patronus Charm, but there was no other detailed record of the spell, Kevin thought he was not very good at dealing with this creature, so it was better to avoid it.

Kevin returned to his room and closed the open window, hoping that the cruise ship would pass through the ocean quickly.

I don't know how long it took, the sunlight broke through the clouds and cast onto the cruise ship, and Kevin pushed the window open again, as if the clouds were just trying to envelop the area where the Dementors were, and after that sea, the sun showed its face.

Kevin is not afraid of fighting, but he is afraid of the ordinary people who will harm this ship. Moreover, the Dementors were hired by the Ministry of Magic to guard Azkaban, and fighting the Dementors would inevitably not be notified by the Ministry of Magic.

Kevin was relieved for a moment, and Kevin pulled out the topic he had written yesterday about magic and sleep.

The basis of elemental magic is meditation, and the premise of meditation is to purify the mind. We have too much to think about all the time, too much information to hit our minds, our hearts are always impetuous, greed guides our desires, anxiety occupies our hearts, and impatience controls our thoughts. The basis of what we want to pursue----- the power of the mind does not exist.

Kevin, half-asleep, happened to enter a state where sleep and meditation were going on at the same time.

Kevin makes several arguments that simply working on the magic and meditating on it will lead to this state. Primitive meditation focuses on absorbing elemental magic, and this half-asleep and half-meditative way is to absorb elemental magic by using magic to generate attraction, which absorbs less elemental magic.

This state is a bit of a chicken for a magician like Kevin who is already able to meditate completely, but it is a good way for a novice meditator to help him get used to the meditative state.

Kevin plans to research it, whether it's for Terry and Mike to help them get familiar with meditation or teach elemental magic to others in the future.

Kevin scribbles on paper, makes new conjectures, confirms them, and then draws conclusions.

With the theory in hand, Kevin lay down on the bed and began to work his magic, using himself to test his conjecture.

In this way, Kevin spent the rest of his time dining with Adam and Teresa and occasionally going out on deck to blow the sea breeze.

In this way, the time to study always flies. A week went by.

Teresa and Adam attended several dance parties on the cruise, and in the end, Kevin couldn't stand Kevin's behavior of getting into the room all day and night, and dragged him out.

Kevin was wearing a suit that Teresa didn't know where to go, and he was a little nervous. Teresa sat on the couch in front of Kevin, looked at Kevin wearing a suit of his choice, and nodded with satisfaction.

Kevin uncomfortably loosened the tie around his neck.

"Mom, do I have to dress like this?"

"Of course, this is a formal ball, and there is a little girl as old as you~" Teresa said with a smile on her face,

Kevin rolled his eyes helplessly and watched Adam also come in through the door in a suit.

"Hey, you look great, Kevin!" Adam complimented,

"You see, I said, Kevin wears just right. Teresa asked Adam for credit,

Then Kevin saw his parents in front of him, you and me,

"Sir, ma'am, are we leaving?" Kevin really didn't want to see his parents sweet. Right from this trip, Adam and Teresa were like a newlywed.

"Of course!" Teresa smiled confidently, looking younger against the burgundy evening gown she was wearing.

Teresa took Adam's arm in her right hand and Kevin's arm in her left, and the family headed towards the ship's saloon.

When you arrive at the saloon, melodious music echoes everywhere, and people from all walks of life have already gathered here.

Teresa lets go of Kevin and walks hand in hand with Adam to the crowd, following closely behind.

"Good night, Mr. Albert, Mrs. Albert......" various greetings were raised.

Kevin watched as Teresa and Adam moved between the group with ease, saying hello.

Kevin was also introduced by Teresa to several people Teresa had recently knew, as well as a little girl.

"Hello, can I call you Kevin?" said the girl, dressed like a little princess, to Kevin,

"Of course!" replied Kevin,

Kevin and the girl were then pushed aside by their respective parents, and the children were told to play on their own.
