Chapter 30: Walking on the Road (1)

Early the next morning, the sun shone on the magical building, and the crooked towers towered over the high roof at an unscientific angle. Kevin pushed open the window and took a deep breath. Sunlight streamed into the room through the window, and Jon was awakened by the harsh light.

"Morning~Kevin~" Jon rubbed his eyes and said to Kevin.

Kevin looked back, "Morning!"

Rong En staggered to his feet, opened the door and walked out, and went to wash.

Kevin and Ron washed up and went downstairs, while Mrs. Weasley was making breakfast. Seeing the two of them come down, Mrs. Weasley stepped forward and hugged Kevin to the table to make it, then brought a frying pan and put freshly fried eggs and bacon on the plate in front of Kevin. Jon was eating bread beside him. Darcyle flew in through the window, and Kevin died some bacon and fed it to him.

"Oh, Kevin, your raven is so pretty!" Jon said as he watched Kevin feed Darcyle.

"Thank you!"

Indeed, Darsil's black feathers and bright eyes were all the more intelligent since absorbing the magic.

Darcyr dodged Rhon's hand and flew away again. Rong Eun put down his hand and smiled at Kevin. Kevin thought it was funny and laughed back.

Percy came down from the upper floor, still formally greeting Kevin, who had no choice but to say hello to Percy. The twins, Mr. Weasley, and Ginny descended downstairs in turn and began breakfast.

After breakfast, Kevin put on his backpack and the Weasleys escorted him to the hillside behind the Burrow.

"If you're passing by here when you come back, you're going to have fun, dear!" Mrs. Weasley hugged Kevin.

"We'll see you next time, Kevin!" Jon stepped forward and hugged Kevin.

Everyone else shook Kevin's hand and said goodbye.

Darsil fell from the sky and rested on Kevin's shoulder.

Kevin said goodbye to the Weasleys and turned to walk down the hill, and Darcyle flew up again in the direction Kevin had gone. According to Mr. Weasley, there used to be a Mr. Lovegood, a graduate of Ravenclaw College, and his daughter lived there. So Kevin plans to visit this senior.

Passing through the hillside, there is a plateau.

After an hour of walking, a building stands at the junction of heaven and earth in the distance. I don't know if it's because the aesthetics of wizards are different, their buildings are always biased towards the medieval style, and there is often a place where it is displayed from an unscientific angle. Gringotts, for example, is a crooked building that looks like it's about to collapse, and people can't help but worry.

Approaching the building, the whole building looked like a big boot, with a gray-white façade covered with greenery, and small lantern-like fruits floating in the air. It's the plum, a magical plant that's just an ornamental plant, but it can repel mosquitoes.

Kevin climbed the stairs and knocked on the door. The doorway in the door was opened, and a gray face appeared in the doorway.

"Hello, are you?" Mr. Lovegood's tone was a little odd, but there was no shortage of weirdos in Ravenclaw, and Kevin didn't care.

"Hello, Mr. Lovegood, I'm Kevin Albert, a Ravenclaw first-year, and I've traveled through here, so I'm here to visit. Kevin showed cause and effect.

"Oh, welcome!" said Mr. Lovegood, opening the door and inviting Kevin in.

Mr. Lovegood wore shoulder-length hair and a trench coat, but shorts on the lower half of his body. Kevin expressed difficulty in accepting such a style.

Entering the door was a circular studio, a desk by the window all summer vacation, and the table was facing drafts and magazines, and Kevin saw "Singing Against the Tune". Although Mr. Lovegood seemed nervous, through chatting with him, Kevin also understood that he was a learned man.

Kevin told Mr. Lovegood something about his solo travels, and Lovegood pondered for a moment before rummaging through the bookshelves behind him.

"Hmm~ I remember it was here, where the hell did it go? Mr. Lovegood muttered to himself, and came over with a roll of parchment, and handed it to Kevin.

"When I was younger, I used to cross half of England by myself, and this is the map I left behind. "This is where my house is, and you will meet several wizarding villages as you go south, and you will reach the southernmost valley of High Conevick, where Professor Dumbledore's old mansion is." Heading west, you'll pass through several swamps to the western coast, where wizards are scattered and only one swamp village is a wizard village......" Mr. Lovegood enthusiastically introduced the road to Kevin, and said that he would give Kevin the map. Kevin took it without pretense, he really needed it, didn't he? Kevin put away the map and thanked Mr. Lovegood.

After a while, Kevin got up and said goodbye, he needed to get back on his way. Mr. Lovegood said that he would like Kevin to visit again when he had the opportunity to introduce his daughter Luna Lovegood, to whom Kevin smiled and agreed before setting off with Darsil for the west.

As night fell, Kevin pitched his tent on a basalt field and cast protective charms around it. Kevin couldn't turn on his perception all night, so he found a copy of "Magical Protection, Spells and Materials" at the Blotted Bookstore.

Kevin found that the protective spell is lengthy and complex, and the effect is only stealth, warning, protection, and breathing. Although a few individual spells are short and effective, they are not as powerful and long-lasting as protective charms, and in terms of Kevin's current magic, they can last for half a month.

Kevin lay on the bed in the tent, and Darsil squatted on the branch stand next to him and took a nap~
