Chapter Ninety-Six: Arriving on the West Coast

Kevin stayed at Golaud's house for a day and left, and in addition to talking to Mr. Golaud about academic issues, he also chatted with Troy about Hogwarts, telling him some Hogwarts do's and don'ts, and some of the professor's characteristics.

However, Mr. Troy pestered Kevin about the sorting ceremony, saying that Mr. Golaud never told him how to sort the house.

Kevin laughed and told Troy that he would know when he got to Hogwarts. But it's funny to watch Troy scratch his ears and cheeks.

It's funny that Kevin finally knows why the wizarding world keeps the sorting ritual secret from the kids.

Kevin continued on his way, not stopping on the way. The morning after leaving Golaud's house, he arrived on the West Coast.

Kevin walked along the west coast for a while before reaching the Tower.

Through the protective charm, Kevin first checked the cornerstone of the protective charm, and there was no damage except for the lack of mana. Kevin pushed open the door of the tower, and the dust came to his nose, Kevin hurriedly stepped back, and waited until the dust subsided before entering the door. The empty tower was very desolate, and no one cleaned it so slowly dusted it.

Kevin cast the Cleansing Charm as he walked into the depths. After cleaning the rooms on the first and second floors, I went into the basement to clean up.

By the time Kevin had cleaned up everything, half an hour had passed.

Kevin started the arrangement from the basement, taking the shrunken furniture out of his backpack little by little, then zooming in and setting it up with a levitation charm.

In the basement there are two large bookshelves, a desk, and a row of potions lab equipment. The small room in the basement Kevin is used as a lounge, with small furniture such as a single bed.

Kevin had all the more profound books in the basement, as well as the wand he found in the Room of Requirement. Kevin has purchased a maintenance box for his wand for this purpose, which will keep the wand alive as it should be. (That's what Ollivander said)

Even the magic array book, Kevin found a secret place to put it, at least Kevin will definitely not need it next semester.

Kevin laid out the basement and began to lay out the first and second floors of the tower.

There is a sofa and coffee table in the living room. Tables and chairs are set up in the dining room. However, there are no kitchenware in the room of requirement, so the kitchen of the tower is not very furnished.

There are two rooms on the first floor, one of which Kevin is furnished as a study on the bright side, and the other as his main bedroom.

It's all set up in the Ravenclaw style. Blue curtains, four-poster bed. The second floor is arranged as a guest bedroom. The four rooms are arranged in the same way as the four Hogwarts houses.

When the tower was finished, Kevin stood in the living room full of pride. Finally, there's a place that's all your own. Darcyl flew around the room happily as well.

Kevin placed a small tree in the corner of the living room, but without leaves, and on top of the tree was a miniature hut, which was Darsil's house. Under the hut there were two branches branching, one with rattan on it, and two food boxes on it, where Darsil stood, and on the other side where Darsil stood.

When Darsil knew that it was for her, he jumped up and down the tree, and was very happy.

And so Kevin's vacation life began.

Kevin first strengthened the magic of the protective charm so that he could last until Kevin returned next semester.

Kevin's days in the Tower were very laid-back, looking at the books he wanted to read every day, practicing the magic he would learn next semester. Occasionally ask Darsil to send letters back to Adam and Troy to reassure them.

Kevin also ran into the sea to catch fish with magic, so that Darsil also tasted the taste of sea fish.

However, Kevin was more interested in studying the information about the teleportation magic array in that formation book. It's not that Kevin wants to learn, but that he needs materials to set up a magic array, and Kevin needs to know what the materials are and how many they need, so that he can collect them all in the future.

However, after Kevin read it, he felt that he needed to go to work, and the things in it Kevin didn't even have heard of it, and Kevin knew that some of them were difficult for him to bear.

Mithril is one, this kind of thing is not only rare and unexpected, but also very expensive. There is also dragon blood, Kevin knows that the market price of dragon blood alone is five hundred gold gallons.

Kevin had to look at the book and sigh, Kevin couldn't always want to reach out to his family, and he needed to go to work to earn enough money to buy these things. Even so, Kevin will have to cut back on food and clothing next. It's not that you don't go hungry, Hogwarts provides free room and board, but you have to save money when you buy some paraphernalia.

For example, the pet food given to Darsil can't be premium pet food. Kevin felt guilty about this, but the owner had to save and the pet had to follow the owner. Comforting himself like this, Kevin really didn't feel guilty.

Unbeknownst to him, Darsil still likes to bounce around his tree, completely unaware that his rations have been downgraded by his master.

Leisurely days always pass very quickly, and Kevin's days of holding a book, blowing the sea breeze, and enjoying the beach are coming to an end soon.

A little more than a week before the start of school, Kevin receives a greeting from Teresa asking him to go home, and Kevin suspects that Teresa will send him a yelling letter if she is in the wizarding world.

Kevin, who had no choice, had to start packing up his luggage and preparing to go back.

It didn't take long for Kevin to pack his things, but he really didn't want to leave the tower, so he had to endure a day before he was ready to leave for home.
