Chapter Fifty-Nine: The Dead Chicken, the "Dead" Justin

Kevin packed up his things and prepared to go back to his dorm, and nodded to Mrs. Pince's workbench past her. Mrs. Pince was wiping down a rimmed book when she saw Kevin nodding at her and glaring at him, and then went about her work. Kevin touched his nose, and it seemed that Mrs. Pince still had an opinion about him.

Kevin walked up to the stairwell and bumped into Harry and Hagrid, Harry didn't seem to be in a good mood, but he smiled and greeted him when he saw Kevin.

"Hey, Kevin!"

"How are you? Kevin!" said in a gruff voice, it was Hagrid.

"Hey, Harry, I'm fine, thank you. How are you? Hagrid. Kevin replied,

"Oh, it would be nice if my chickens didn't die. Hagrid lifted the dead rooster in his hand and showed Kevin, "It's the second one I've been killed this semester," he explained, "It's either a fox or a blood-sucking monster, and I need the headmaster's permission to cast a spell around the chicken shed." ”

He looked more closely at Harry with his eyes under his thick snowflake eyebrows.

"Are you really okay? You look angry, very unhappy. ”

Harry didn't speak, just bowed his head.

Kevin had a bottom in his mind, and it was estimated that Harry had heard what had just happened in the library.

"Oh, be happy, Harry. I know...... I mean, you're a great boy, aren't you? If you're not happy, you can come to me!" Hagrid looked out the window, "I need to go to Professor Dumbledore, boys! As he spoke, he walked upstairs.

The atmosphere suddenly fell silent.

"Thank you, Kevin. I mean, thank you for trusting me. Harry hesitated to say this.

Kevin laughed, "We're friends, aren't we?"

Harry looked up, his eyes lit up, and he smiled and said, "Of course!

"So, let's go together!"

"Hmm!" Harry nodded heavily, and walked up the stairs with Kevin.

As they stepped up the stairs, they turned to another hallway. The light was particularly dim, a window pane was loose, and a bitter wind blew in and extinguished the torch.

Kevin's vision was unobstructed and he quickly spotted what was ahead.

He stopped Harry with his hand, "Harry, something very bad has happened up ahead. ”

Harry froze, pushed Kevin's hand away, and ran to the front.

Justin Finielly lay on the floor, cold and stiff, a look of horror fixed on his face, his eyes glazed on the ceiling. And that's not all, there's another figure next to him.

It was a nearly headless Nick, no longer milky and transparent, but black, smoky, and motionless lying flat six inches above the ground. Half of his head was off, and he had the same look of horror on his face as Justin.

Kevin hurriedly stepped forward, Harry was very bad, his face was panicked, he looked around the empty corridor in confusion, only to see a line of spiders rushing desperately to escape.

On the other side of the hallway, the teacher's voice could be heard in the classroom.

Kevin thought about a lot of things in a flash, they could run away, and no one knew they had been here. But he couldn't let them lie here, and just then, a door next to him slammed open, and Peeves, who was a prankster, rushed out.

"Ah, it's little Potter, and Albert of Ravenclaw!" Peeves giggled and jumped past them, knocking Harry's glasses crooked. "What are you doing? Why are you sneaking around—"

Before Kevin could stop him, Peeves flipped halfway through a hollow heel and suddenly stopped. He looked down at Justin and Nick, who was almost headless. He quickly straightened up, took a deep breath, and screamed in his straight voice: "Do it, do it! Do it again! No one will be spared! Run for your life! Do it!"

Boom - Boom – Boom – Boom: The doors in the hallway are pushed open one by one, and people flock out. During those difficult minutes, the scene was extremely chaotic, Justin was in danger of being squashed, and people kept standing in the middle of Nick's body, who was almost headless. At this time, the teachers shouted loudly to maintain order. Professor McGonagall ran all the way, followed by the students in her class, one of whom still had black and white hair. Professor McGonagall slammed her wand with a loud bang, and everyone fell silent, and she ordered everyone to return to their classrooms. No sooner had the people dispersed than Hufflepuff's Ernie arrived panting.

"Caught red-handed!" Ernie's face turned pale, and he dramatically pointed at Harry and Kevin, shouting loudly.

"That's enough, Ernie!" Professor McGonagall said sternly. Peeves floated overhead, looking down at the scene. At this time, he grinned and showed a wicked smile, Peeves had always feared that the world would not be chaotic. As the teachers bent down to check on Justin and Nick, who was almost headless, Peeves suddenly sang, "Oh, Potter, you nasty thing, look at the good things you did, you killed the students, and you thought it was funny—

"Don't make a fuss, Peeves!" Professor McGonagall yelled, Peeves stuck his tongue out at them and scrambled back away.

Justin was carried to the hospital room by Professor Flitwick and Professor Sinista of the Department of Astronomy, but no one seemed to know what to do with Nick, who was almost headless. Eventually, Professor McGonagall conjured a large fan out of thin air and handed it to Ernie, instructing him to fan Nick, who was almost headless, up the stairs. Ernie complied, fanning Nick forward like a black hovercraft without a sound. Only Harry, Kevin, and McGonagall were left in the hallway.

"Follow me, Mr. Potter, Mr. Albert!"
