Chapter 8: The Creation of Man
After all the gods were seated, Zeus first tapped the scepter to silence everyone.
After everyone was quiet, Zeus pointed to the middle-aged god next to Athena: "This is Prometheus the Prophet, the son of the Titan god Iapetus. He asked my eldest sister, Hestia, the god of the hearth, to bring him up and discuss with the gods. โ
It turned out that he was Prometheus, Adros said in his heart. This is one of the most famous non-Olympian gods in the Kaos god system, and it is estimated that Gaia, the Earth Mother, is comparable to him.
Prometheus stood up and said to the gods, "A hundred years ago, His Majesty the God-King created bronze humans to multiply in the human world and serve the gods. However, due to the Typhon Rebellion, the bronze humans were slaughtered by demonic beasts, and only a few hundred are still alive in the world. I was deeply concerned that the temples of the gods were left untended and the fields of the world were deserted, so I wanted to recreate man, hoping for the support and help of the gods of Olympus. โ
I didn't expect Prometheus to come to Olympus to ask for this, and Adros wanted to step in and see if he could get merit, but unfortunately his ability was limited and he had no choice but to do so.
The gods began to deliberate, and finally came to a mutual agreement to recreate the human race.
"Very good, since the gods have agreed, but creating a human being is not a simple matter, and a god with outstanding ability and proficient in creation is needed to do it, I don't know who is suitable?"
The gods hesitated for a moment, realizing that they were incapable of creating man, and finally Athena stood up: "I'll go." โ
Zeus saw that it was Athena and smiled: "Athena is the goddess of wisdom, and I am relieved that you will help Prometheus in this matter." โ
Athena and Prometheus left together, talking and laughing, but did not notice the gloomy face of Hephaestus behind her. Adros and Hekate saw it, but said nothing, and silently followed Athena and them.
Once the gods gathered, Zeus summoned the muses again and began a song and dance banquet that had not been held for a long time. The gods were very interested in this, and they all drank and chatted and watched singing and dancing in the temple of the gods.
"Persephone, I'm going with Hecate to watch Athena make man, will you go?"
As he was about to leave, Adros saw the beautiful Persephone, standing at the gate of the palace, as if waiting for him.
Persephone pulled Adros aside, and without saying a word, his lips were imprinted on Adros's. Adros suddenly felt a sweet fragrance, like an arid earth moistened by rain.
When Hekat saw this scene, he was immediately stunned, these two were both married. One was carrying her husband behind her back, and the other was carrying her wife behind her back, hugging and kissing each other outside the temple of the gods. She immediately looked back at the main hall, but found that Aphrodite was enjoying the dance of the nine muses, and for a moment she had no intention of coming out, and she immediately breathed a sigh of relief.
"Maybe the other gods covet Aphrodite, what are they doing, coveting the wife of Hades?" Suddenly, Hekate was dissatisfied with his main god, "Really, why do you want to help him watch Aphrodite and catch them." โ
The two kissed for a long time before Persephone let go of the hand that was holding Adros tightly, and looked at Adros charmingly: "Remember to come to the underworld to find me, Adros, I have prepared a big gift for you." If you don't come, be careful that I cheapen others. โ
Adros listened to her naked seduction, and was excited and annoyed, and slapped her buttocks: "You dare." โ
"Give you a year, if you don't come, do you think I dare?" Persephone looked flattering, kissed Adros on the lips again, and then flew up to the clouds, heading towards the underworld.
Adros reminisced about Persephone's kiss, and it was still so touching. Suddenly, he noticed his godly expression, a look of disgust, and immediately became serious.
"Let's go, let's go to Athena. โ

Prometheus and Athena, the seer, came to a place in the middle of the earth under the blue sky. Here, the land is covered with flowers and weeds, scattered with all kinds of animals, and birds nest in trees and sing in the air, as if it were a kingdom of gods on earth.
Prometheus said to Athena, "This is the place where humans were killed the most during the Typhon Rebellion. The seeds of human life are buried in the soil, waiting to be revived. โ
Athena nodded, not saying a word, waiting for his movements.
Prometheus, smiling, and with a thoughtful step, came to a river, took a large mass of dirt from the bank, took some water from the river with his hand, poured it on it, mixed it into mud that was soft and hard, and then made a man out of the image of God.
This little clay figure was very fond of him, so he was full of joy and made many of the same clay figures. After pinching, he looked at the lifeless forms and fell into a long contemplation.
"They can't become human beings just by trying this, they still need to live. Athena said as she spoke.
Prometheus looked to the side and saw that the animals were constantly running, and in them, there was life. He took from all kinds of animals, good or evil, such as the courage of a lion, the loyalty and intelligence of a dog, the industriousness of a horse, the vision of an eagle, the strength of a bear, the meekness of a pigeon, the cunning of a fox, the timidity of a rabbit, and the greed of a wolf, and then kneaded them together and poured into each man's chest his part.
In this way, the man created by Prometheus can move like an animal. But they are just running mechanically, moving numbly, lacking a spirituality that humans have ever had.
Athena watched in amazement at what Prometheus had done in this beautiful place, and found that his friend's creativity seemed to be higher than that of the Olympian gods. When she found Prometheus helpless as he looked at his creations and didn't know how to give them spirituality, she used her divine power to breathe God's vital breath into their mouths.
Suddenly, it seemed as if the world had changed, becoming magical and strange. They began to learn to think, to do meaningful labor, to separate themselves from the animals.
Then, with Prometheus blessed to the heart, he took out his cane, plunged it into the water, stirring it constantly, and the muddy water in the river splashed there, and fell to the ground and became a human form. He got more and more like that, and finally stopped what he was doing and leaned back to rest.
Athena was not idle, using her divine power to infuse the spirit into these newborn humans. In less than half a day, hundreds of thousands of people have appeared on this land.
"Is this the legendary creation of man? What about the Nine Heavens Resting Earth? What about the Three Light Divine Water?" Adros kept making jokes in his mind about this kind of unskilled method of creating man.
It was also at this moment that the heavens and the earth trembled, and all the gods and spirits could feel it, and in the sky, a seven-colored rainbow light fell from the sky and threw it into two parts above the heads of Athena and Prometheus.
Adros and Hekate, who were originally in the sky, looked at this boring man, and suddenly discovered this surprising scene.
"The power of heaven. Hekat exclaimed.
"Isn't this supposed to be the power of merit?" Aderos was full of questions, and asked Hekat what she meant by the power of the Celestial Grace.
"I don't know very well, but my mother once told me that the gods have made some great moves, and if they help the heavens and the earth, then they will be strengthened by the power of the heavens. In the past, it was the first generation of god kings to establish the divine court and dominate and open up the kingdom, and this kind of thing appeared with the power of heaven. My mother said that this rainbow light can be used to build weapons, improve the quality of weapons, and slowly improve one's strength. โ
Adros nodded, which was similar to the effect of merit.
The appearance of the power of the heavenly favor alarmed many gods in this world, and the god king Zeus also threw down his wine glass and came here with the gods of Olympus.
Looking at the new human race that appeared in front of him, Zeus had a complicated look, he also created a group of humans after the Battle of Titan, but he didn't get half of the power of heaven, this time Athena and Prometheus created people, and there was this kind of harvest.
As if sensing the particularity of this group of humans, Zeus said to Prometheus: "Son of Iapertus, now that humanity has appeared, according to our agreement, we need to start worshipping the gods of Olympus immediately. โ
Prometheus hesitated for a moment, and then said, "Your Majesty the God King, human beings have just been born, and food and clothing have not yet been satisfied, and they still need a few years of study. When they have no worries about food and clothing, and when they have a clear sense of right and wrong, I will let them begin to worship the gods. The implication is that it will take some time before the sacrifices to the gods can begin.
Zeus was furious, he, Prometheus, had already received so many benefits from the newborn humans, and even prevented the humans from sacrificing Olympus immediately. Zeus was well aware. When human beings are able to distinguish between right and wrong and think for themselves, they will not have the deepest fear of the gods. He immediately wanted to teach Prometheus a lesson, and when he saw that the humans behind him saw Prometheus with admiration, he dispelled this idea again.
"Good, well, son of Iapetus, how dare you not fulfill your covenant with Olympus. As a punishment for you, the humans you have made, I will deprive them of their qualification for the flame. โ
He used his divine power to pull out a silk thread-like vague thing from each newborn human being, and hid it in his sleeve.
Zeus was furious and flew back to Olympus, leaving behind some of the gods who were staring at each other. They looked at the newborn beast-like humans, and felt that it was not interesting, so they followed Zeus and returned to Olympus.
"You're doing it for yourself. โ
Athena sighed and left. As the goddess of wisdom and a good friend of Prometheus, how could she not guess his thoughts. He wanted the humans he had created to be free from the control of the gods as much as possible, but how could this be. The power of the gods is far beyond the reach of humans.
Prometheus looked at this human being, as if he was looking at his newborn child, and his heart was full of fighting spirit and passion.
