Chapter Thirty-Seven: Malfoy Sr. and Weasley Sr

The crowd applauded and cheered, and Harry walked staggeringly and dazed, holding a pile of Gilderoy Lockhart's complete books. With great difficulty, he stepped out of the center of public attention and came to the wall, where Ginny was standing beside her new cauldron.

"Here's for you," Harry said to her vaguely, pouring the book into the cauldron, "I'll buy it myself—"

Kevin snickered, it seems that Gilderoy Lockhart is very pleasing to girls, but not to our savior.

Kevin couldn't stand the crowding in the bookstore, and squeezed people out of the way to the door of the bookstore, and Harry followed him to the door.

"You must love that, Potter?" Malfoy's voice came from the stairs. Harry straightened up and greeted Draco Malfoy, the usual mocking smile on his face.

"The famous Harry Potter," Malfoy said, "can't help but make front-page news even into a bookstore." ”

Kevin kind of understood why Hermione and Harry hated this little imp so much. The tone of Professor Snape's sarcasm, yet haughty contempt.

"Don't talk nonsense, he doesn't want that!" Ginny defended Harry, glaring at Malfoy.

"Potter, you've got a girlfriend!" Malfoy said in a long voice, and Ginny's face turned red. Kevin grabbed the angry Harry and said to Harry,

"Harry, you see, the more people say something about you, the more jealous they are of you. Kevin said as he raised an eyebrow at Harry.

Harry understood in seconds and smiled at Kevin, "yes! I'm sorry to make others angry because of my excellence!" The tone changed and turned, and Kevin wondered if Harry still had a talent for drama.

Malfoy's face flushed with anger and gasped, looking by Kevin and Harry's singing.

Ginny also covered her mouth and snickered beside her.

Jon and Hermione squeezed over, each holding a stack of Lockhart's books.

"Oh, it's you," Jon looked at Malfoy as if he saw something disgusting on the soles of his shoes, "you must be surprised to see Harry here, huh?"

"What surprised me even more was to see you enter the store, Weasley. Malfoy scoffed, "I guess your mom and dad are going to be hungry next month to buy those things." ”

Kevin frowned, and this was a bit vicious. But it is not good to teach him a lesson on such a wide occasion.

Jon looked so angry that he was about to explode, and Jon blushed and threw the book into the cauldron, about to rush towards Malfoy. Harry and Hermione tugged at his clothes from behind, and Kevin quickly grabbed Jon.

"Jung!" Mr. Weasley squeezed over with Fred and George, "What are you doing? The people here are crazy, let's get out." ”

"Ahhh A man with blond hair and a stiff outfit came down from the second floor with a snake-headed cane in his hand, and stood behind Malfoy, his hand on Malfoy's shoulder. You don't have to guess, you can know Malfoy's father at a glance, and you can also call Malfoy Sr.

"Lucius!" Mr. Weasley said with a cold nod.

Kevin watched as Mr. Weasley and Malfoy Sr. were arguing fiercely, and Malfoy Sr. reached out and took out the book in Ginny's crucible and laughed at it.

Then he swept his eyes over Kevin, Hermione, and finally stayed on Harry for a long time, and then mocked the Weasleys for their depravity.

With a clang, Ginny's cauldron flew out. Mr. Weasley lunged at Mr. Malfoy, knocking him into a bookshelf, dozens of thick spell books falling on their heads. Fred and George yelled, "Beat him, Daddy!" Mrs. Weasley screamed, "Don't do this, Arthur, don't do this!" The crowd panicked and retreated, knocking down more bookshelves. "Gentlemen, good work—good work. The clerk shouted. Then a loud voice drowned out all the voices: "Spread out, gentlemen, Ao Kai-"

In the end, it was Hagrid's arrival that put an end to the farce. Hagrid strode over with a floor full of books, pulling Mr. Weasley and Mr. Malfoy away in the blink of an eye. Mr. Weasley's lips were torn, and Mr. Malfoy had one eye smashed by the Toadstool, and he was clutching Ginny's worn-out Transfiguration textbook. He shoved the book into her hand, his eyes shining with a vicious light.

"Wow. Little girl—hold your book—it's the best your dad can give you—" He broke free of Hagrid's arm, waved to Malfoy, and rushed out of the store.

Kevin's eyes narrowed, and he shook his head without thinking much about the vicious look in old Malfoy's vicious eyes just now.

"You shouldn't have paid attention to him, Arthur," Hagrid reached out to smooth out Mr. Weasley's robe, nearly lifting him up, "this guy is terrible, their whole family is, everyone knows it. The Malfoys' words are simply not worth listening to. Their blood is bad, that's what happened. Let's go, let's get out. ”

The group left the bookstore, and the clerk seemed to try to stop them, but he was only up to Hagrid's waist, so they didn't dare to make a mistake, and they walked quickly out into the street.

Mrs. Weasley didn't seem to dare to stay any longer, so she quickly bought her groceries, separated from Hagrid, and returned to the Leaky Cauldron.

By the time we got back to the fireplace at the Leaky Cauldron, everyone was much calmer. Harry, the Shusleys, and everything they bought were to be shipped back to the Burrow in Floo powder. Kevin smiled at everyone, "Leave it to me." ”

Kevin pulled his wand out of his sleeve and tapped it a few times on the items they had bought, "Shrink down!" and the things shrunk enough to fit into Mrs. Weasley's bag.

"The spell I saw this summer has a one-hour effect time, and I thought you could save some Floo powder. ”

Mrs. Weasley stepped forward and hugged Kevin, "Thank you dear!" and let Kevin go, hugging Hermione again, "Welcome to our house next time." ”

Harry and Jon say goodbye to Kevin and Hermione, respectively, as well as the Weasleys, and then Kevin and Hermione watch them leave the fireplace.

Kevin cast a shrinking spell on the two of them, "This time it's a two-hour time limit spell, enough for us to get home." ”

"Thank you!" Hermione laughed,

The two of them put the shrunken things in their pockets, then walked out of the Leaky Cauldron and made their way to the bus stop. Kevin saw Hermione off before getting on the bus back to Cabridge.

In the car, the more Kevin thought about it, the more he felt that something was wrong. Slygerlin are mostly pure-bloods, and they will not allow themselves to fight in public as self-proclaimed nobles. Then there must be something strange about Old Malfoy's behavior today, but Kevin thought about it again, and still didn't notice anything wrong, so he had to press his mind and stop thinking about it.
