Magellan, as usual every morning, got up, washed, and walked out of the tent. Pen % fun % Pavilion www.biquge.info
The silence in the camp was eerily silent, and the monotonous sound of the waves could be heard not far away, making the silence even more palpable.
The place where the night watchman was supposed to be was empty, Magellan walked over and put his hand on the bonfire that had been extinguished.
The ashes still carried heat, and whatever happened to the sailors of the vigil should have happened at four o'clock in the morning. It was the most difficult time of the day for human beings, and Magellan couldn't help but have the illusion that he was at war.
There were no signs of fighting, no corpses or blood, and the sailors were nowhere to be found, along with their weapons.
Magellan did not check whether there was anyone else in the tent, and he went straight to the two large ships by the sea.
There was a roar between the sea and the sky, but the deck was empty, and the falling needles could be heard.
Magellan really felt confused, in his opinion, the camp was raided, the sailors were powerless to resist, these two big ships were heavily guarded, one was a pirate ship that crisscrossed the seas, and the other was a warship of the king of the world, how could they all evaporate quietly?
Standing on the side of the ship, looking at the white sand beach that stretched out to the sea and the sky, Magellan had a guess in his mind: magic.
Maybe that's the test, he thought, smiling at the island.
......
The island was densely wooded, and Magellan had at least a little taxonomic knowledge with Darwin, knowing that almost all of the plants here were tropical species that shouldn't be in this dimension, and he was a little frightened - to be able to create an anomaly of this magnitude, and the amount of essence gathered here was terrifying, and if there was a powerful magician, his abilities would be terrifyingly increased here.
However, this also made Magellan sure that the next stop of the "brave walk" was ahead, and this spectacle of gathering the essence was the same as where Edward got the pigeons.
The woods are densely planted, the field of vision is small, walking in the glade, you can get lost if you are not careful, Magellan walked for a while, knowing that it was not a natural formation. This is similar to a labyrinth of essences, where the growth of plants is affected by the flow of essences, and there is no space in between that that leads to the depths of the forest.
Magellan soon understood the rules of the labyrinth, and he took out the fairy rope and climbed a tree, swinging around the canopy like a monkey, and went straight to the depths of the woods hidden behind the bushes.
As he went, Magellan felt more and more that something was wrong here, that there were no grass-eating beasts under the trees, no chirping birds in the trees, that there was more dead silence around him than silence, and the sound of the fluttering of the leaves as he jumped from the canopy of one tree to the other.
After walking through the bushes that were merely huddled together, Magellan had walked for a long time, and according to his calculations, he should have reached the center of the island, but as far as the eye could see, there was still a green wood.
Just as he was about to give up, an animal appeared in the woods.
It was a stag, striding gracefully in the glade, and its antlers were so large that they shone like gold.
The trees seemed to be lit up, and between the leaves, the sunlight created patches of light on the grass, and the sound of the wind could be heard in the distance.
The world became quiet, and Magellan stopped on a large tree.
The stag looked up, glanced at him, and then lowered his head and rushed towards the tree.
Magellan smiled, he was still hesitating what to do with the bucks just now, and now he didn't have to think about it.
With a loud bang, the tree fell backwards, and Magellan, although surprised, did not panic, he ran two steps along the trunk and rushed to the stag.
The golden antlers are right in front of you, and it's like a delicate work of art, beautiful.
However, the buck did not give Magellan a chance to admire, and it lowered its head and rushed towards the latter.
Magellan threw out the rope and jumped to avoid the golden antlers, and then he rode the stag around several large trees twice before he turned around.
The buck turned around and rushed towards Magellan again, this time without dodging or dodging, without moving.
With a muffled thud, the stag fell to the ground, and Magellan was carried off the ground by the rope, just in time to avoid the antlers.
Magellan complacently found a new use of the leprechaun rope for himself, tied the buck to the five flowers, and carried it on his shoulders.
This time, he walked out of the woods, and suddenly it became clear that it was a hillside, and there were people not far away.
As soon as Magellan appeared, eyes were focused on him, but there was silence all around.
He walked forward, and gradually, on the hillside what seemed to be a village, people gathered.
In the crowd, three tall figures finally stood up and walked towards Magellan.
Magellan walked calmly towards the crowd, but he felt a little bad in his heart. Although he was far away from the village, he could see that the crowd gathered there was full of women.
The three men approached and stood in front of Magellan, looking at the stranger with a look on their faces, but he always felt that there was something else in their eyes.
All three of them are women, very beautiful, and they are the kind of beautiful that is full of power. Magellan felt bad in his heart, but his face was still calm.
Among the three, the leader was a young woman in her twenties, extremely tall, even half a head taller than Magellan, dressed in simple animal skin clothes, revealing large patches of healthy wheat-colored skin, and a proud face. Her two companions to her left and right looked a little older than her, one carrying a spear and the other carrying a bow and arrow, dressed in the same style as the woman in the middle, and their bodies were full of strength, like two graceful leopards.
"My name is Tara, who are you, strange man?"
This Tara spoke in no way any of the languages Magellan knew, but he still understood, and there was only one explanation, and that was that there was magic in Tara's language.
Magellan didn't know if this was good news or bad news, he raised his hands in a gesture of friendship, and a smile appeared on his face: "I am a foreigner from the ocean, my name is Magellan, and I am so glad to see you." ”
Tara showed a leopard's smile when it saw its prey: "So polite, it doesn't seem to be a robber, like a superior person." ”
The spear-wielding warrior beside her burst into laughter: "He doesn't look like a superior man, but like a hard laborer." ”
As she spoke, the female warrior stretched out her hand and pinched the muscles on Magellan's arm: "Those soldiers don't have the strength of him." ”
The female warrior with the bow beside Tara also nodded in agreement: "He will have a good daughter." ”
As if this was the result of the discussion between the three of them, Tara nodded and said, "So, what gift did you bring, outsider?"
Magellan put the stag on the ground and pulled out his dagger.
