Chapter Ninety-Five: The Chess Game
When the gods, the only and destined rulers of the world, fight against an opponent of equal rank, what happens is unimaginable to mortals.
For example, the mortals who are now standing around the battlefield and facing the metal giant trees at a loss have no idea that in the depths of the metal thorns, countless worlds are dying.
The supreme power of the gods is creation.
Only science can create the world, he knows everything, he has everything, he can do everything, because the physics of his creation are naturally subordinate to him.
And the metal monster, I don't know where it came from, in what form exists,-for-tat.
Whenever the power of the gods creates a new world, the power of the monster destroys it, no matter how it happens.
Of course, science knows that those destruction will not affect him.
Here, a place that seems extremely vulnerable, is the last line of defense for science and monsters alike, and until one side achieves complete victory, the terrifying destruction outside will not affect here.
Science thinks, looking for possible ways to win in ways he has never tried before.
He knew that perhaps the conflict of pure power without ideological support would not lead to anything, and it was here that would ultimately decide the outcome of the outcome.
But the monsters had the upper hand.
With the help of the countess, the mortal, the monster understands science, while hiding where science doesn't, watching him blindly rush left and right in the trap.
Mortal, science's favorite creature, but when confronted with a mortal who could destroy him, the god finds himself never really aware of what he has created.
They are incomparably beautiful, just as science has lamented countless times before, but just as dangerous.
Science pondered and landed on the grass.
It's a nice courtyard.
If you ignore the meadow, the terrifying stars in the pure black sky, the palpitating cosmic light bands, and the terrifying stars that flicker far and near, then this is the perfect courtyard.
Still, it's a mesmerizing garden, always tended by skilled gardeners and filled with exotic flowers and plants from all over the world.
"All over the world. ”
Science laughed at this thought in his heart.
Here, the world is a pitifully small word.
He pushed open the door of the glass greenhouse and stepped into the garden.
The warm air came to his face, and the god suddenly realized that the air outside was actually very cold, but it was just right inside.
"I don't know, would you like to have a cup of tea here. ”
The countess sat among the flowers, covered with green leaves, and in her hand was a white porcelain cup filled with black tea.
It's like a rabbit jumping out of the grass and standing in front of a hunter.
Science stretched out its hand, and the power of terror gushed out in an instant.
Then he noticed another person sitting next to the countess.
Or rather, not human.
It was a strange creature, presumably humanoid, with a queen-like majesty and an ornate crown, but no human underbody.
She, alternatively, its lower body is a cylindrical base.
Science was amazed to find that it was exactly the same chess piece.
It was only a moment, and the god's mind was lightning fast, and then the power in his hand vanished.
It looked as if an invisible barrier had blocked the terrifying power.
Science laughed.
Of course, this is not an illusion, and of course, it is only that monster that can resist the power of the gods.
Science stretched his hand forward, and he touched the barrier, like a gale, and although it could not be seen with the human eye, there were enough signs of its existence.
"So, you sit there and I can't go over. ”
The god was in no hurry to break through the obstacles with his terrifying power.
As he thought, this was a close battleground, and the monsters had put a lot of effort into building a defensive line, so the science of head-on confrontation needed the same amount of strength, which didn't help to achieve victory.
This is not the case with finding holes in the line of defense.
The gods looked around.
It's an incredibly beautiful garden, a glass greenhouse, where science searches its endless memories and discovers that its prototype is the Royal Society's Botanical Gardens.
The above-ground part of the building is made entirely of a large monolithic piece of glass, transparent and crystal-clear, arranged in a regular manner like a large diamond.
Among the diamonds are softer, but no less beautiful things.
The green plants are full of beautiful flowers, so showy and intoxicating, and the dew on the green reflects the light like jewels.
The countess sat next to a blooming rose, each of which was unique in red flowers.
The only thing that makes people feel incongruous is the Countess's side, the Queen.
"Knight!"
When she interrupted the beautiful tranquility with a gruff voice, a knight in full armor arrived, and science was sure that it was a queen.
Born noble, outcast, brutal and difficult to change, she was lucky to ascend the throne, and she is always greedy queen.
The god laughed self-deprecatingly, he wouldn't have wasted so much thought on such an ugly role, science would only focus on the brightest souls.
Of course, this queen did help him.
Science looked up at the square glass overhead.
The jewel-like glass makes up the greenhouse, shielding it from the cold air and protecting the delicate flowers, and strangely enough, they have two colors, alternating each other.
Science is standing underneath a piece of brown glass.
And coincidentally, the countess and the queen beside her were separated by the dividing line of two pieces of glass.
"I just took a step, and then the knight moved forward, so now, it's still my step, right?"
Science did not expect that this question would be answered, and he firmly believed in his speculation and chose to act without hesitation.
He took a few steps to the right and stopped.
"General. ”
If the glass on the roof of the greenhouse is considered as a chessboard, then just now, the place of science is the queen, the place of the countess is the king, and the place of the queen is also the "queen".
The knight was called, and his position was also in the knight's position.
It's a game of chess, but it has an excessively beautiful board.
Now, following the queen's move, Science came diagonally opposite the countess, in a place where the opposing queen and knight could not attack, and at the same time was able to attack the king's position.
This is the general.
"Knight!"
The queen shouted again.
So the knight, who was heavily armed, came to the countess and kept her behind.
