Chapter 21: Asura
With six arms, four of which hold weapons in their hands, vajras, bows and arrows, axes decorated with skulls, Shiva is the god of destruction, and in the eyes of the Brahmins, his power mostly represents destruction. The remaining two arms, one hand is an oil lamp made of skulls, and the other hand is a blooming lotus flower.
In the correct posture, the lotus flower should naturally be on the top of the right hand, and the top of the left hand is the vajra, no matter what the gods, this is the case, to represent the Dharma above everything, and the surrender of the outer path is only the Dharma, and in fact the Shiva himself that Magellan has seen is also like this.
Below is the bow and arrow, the bow is in the left hand, the arrow is in the right hand, and at the bottom is the oil lamp and the axe, and the right hand holds the axe.
The statue was very delicate, and although it was massive, it was very easy and effortless to move its arms up and down, and Magellan quickly set up his arms in the correct position.
But he only heard a crisp crash, not the sound of the secret door opening.
That was enough, though, the sound of the collision came from the mechanism hidden in the statue, and it came from the next place that needed to be moved.
Magellan climbed back onto the lotus seat at the foot of the statue, tapped his fingers on the statue, and listened to the echoes inside. Soon he found the rest of the mechanism, which turned out to be the statue's hand.
It took a little time, and he was a little surprised.
The Brahmin technique was beyond Magellan's expectations, and it was very complicated to install a set of mechanisms at the top of the arm, which was already able to move, and then a set of mechanisms to allow the palm to move alone, so that at least in Magellan's previous impressions, the Brahmin could not have been interested in developing the craftsman's technique to such an extent.
But that didn't matter, Magellan turned his right hand at the top of the statue so that the lotus was facing down, and then the sound of the mechanism running, and then the sound of stones rubbing against the smooth ground.
The secret door has been opened.
Magellan jumped off the lotus seat and turned behind Shiva.
This statue is to hide the secret door and the secret passage behind it, so contrary to the norm, Lord Shiva is not the usual one-legged standing and dancing, but sitting cross-legged on the ground.
Walking into the dark passage, there is no darkness in front of you, the firelight flickering illuminates this spacious corridor, and you can see the gorgeous gate at the end.
The door is embossed with the god of books, the Ganesh Ganesh of the Vedic recorder, and Magellan stands in front of the door and gently pushes the door open.
Behind the door, as he expected, was a splendid library, a vast room decorated with gold and precious stones, and the lights flickered brightly.
But Magellan didn't see the books that should be here.
"Welcome. β
In its place was a tall, thin, dark-skinned, ugly man.
It was undoubtedly not human, and Magellan knew that he was probably the only one who knew what was going on in all the worlds that supernatural forces had left.
"Who are you?"
"My name is Rahu, and I am an asura. β
Magellan nodded and walked up to this asura: "You want to see me?"
"All the answers you're chasing are with me. β
Magellan smiled.
He walked to the middle of this hall and stood in front of the asura.
"I've met an asura once before, not like you. β
"It was in the world of the gods, and our forms were distorted. β
"You mean, in this world, the gods can also be distorted?"
Rahu smiled and did not answer.
"Everything you're looking for, I've got here. β
This asura faced Magellan with an absolutely confident smile, everything was under his control, everything that this mortal did in this world, was out of his arrangement.
"In this world, can the gods be distorted?"
The smile on Rahu's face froze.
The gods will not be able to enter this world, they will not be distorted, but excluded.
But that didn't matter, what mattered was that this mortal was not as harmless and obedient as he had always appeared, and Rahu began to wonder if the plans of the three great gods were too optimistic.
"No, the gods can't enter this world. β
Although his heart was full of hesitation and doubt, Rahu finally decided to continue according to the plan of the great god, whether it was possible for this mortal to get out of control or not, he was not qualified to judge.
"And what are the signs of divine power that I felt before?"
"It's Asura, my power. β
Magellan's sense of divine power was very dull, so he was not sure what the supernatural power he felt before, but now that he was standing in front of Rahu, he was extremely sure that that power was the power of the asura in front of himβand it was exactly the same as the divine power he had felt before.
That could mean a lot of things, for example, that the asuras and the gods are simply the same kind of being.
Of course, it is also possible that Magellan's sluggish feeling deceived him, but it is clear that the performance of this asura in front of him will not deceive him.
Rahu looked at the puzzled look on Magellan's face and smiled: "It's the same as the power of the gods, right? In this world, the asura is the god, the ruler who controls everything, and of course, the power that transcends everything is in my hands." β
"I'm going back to the realm of the gods and continue my asceticism, if you're an enemy of the gods, Asura, you should know that, right?"
"I am an enemy of the gods. β
Rahu didn't really mean to stop Magellan from continuing his asceticism, and the expression on his face had already revealed everything.
"It is the three great gods who want to see the ascetic completion of the asceticism, and if you want to stop me, you are going against their will. β
The Asura was silent for a moment.
Although the three great gods did not want to waste time in order for the ascetic to be completed as soon as possible, it was inevitable that Magellan would fall into the hands of the asuras, and everything that Rahu did was to complete the ascetic as soon as possible, but at the same time, he was also working hard for the assura to defeat the gods.
He no longer believed that he could defeat the gods with the result of a single ascetic, and now Rahu found that the three great gods who truly decided everything were willing to sacrifice everything for the completion of this asceticism.
So this time, Vayu, the powerful god, the god of the wind that the Asura could not defeat, was eroded by the Asura.
Because the harvest was too rich, he couldn't give up at all, and Rahu hoped to continue to use this mortal to move away from several other powerful gods who blocked Asura.
He wanted to hold this mortal in his hands.
It's not an easy thing to do, but it's worth a try.
"You've completed the game once to find the ultimate secret hidden in an empty world. Rahu smiled, "Your performance meets the requirements of asceticism." β
