Chapter 20: Bestiality
The men recovered faster than Magellan had expected, and Tara took the pile of poisonous stuff with them, and the curious children surrounded Magellan, pestering him to talk about the outside. Pen "Fun" Pavilion www.biquge.info
Soon, Tara returned. With a few words, she told the children to disperse, and then led Magellan up the hill.
"Follow me. β
The two of them were paved with stone steps at their feet, and Magellan looked at the fractures exposed under the moss, and his guess was more certain.
Through a grove of trees, they came to a small cabin.
"Grandma, I brought him. β
"It's coming. β
With an old voice, an old man came out of the door of the hut with his waist bent.
"Oh, you're that guy......"
The old man's eyes were like those of an eagle, and her gaze could make people feel the illusion of being stabbed by a sharp sword, which reminded Magellan of Sherlock Holmes.
"I'm that person. β
Hearing Magellan say this, the old man smiled: "You go to the mountains and hunt a prey down, you can prove that you are Etara." β
Magellan shook his head: "I'm not here for this. β
The old man laughed loudly: "Tara, you lost. β
Tara waved her hand and turned away, saying as she went, "Okay, he's handed it over to you, don't let him go so easily, I'm going to make him fall in love with me!"
The old man waved at Magellan, turned around and walked into the cabin: "You don't love him, why should you make him fall in love with you." β
Magellan listened to this conversation, did not know what to say, and followed the old man into the cabin in silence.
It was dark inside, and it was pitch black before Magellan's eyes, and all he could hear was the sound of the old man's robe dragging on the ground.
"It's been a long time since an outsider has come into this house. β
With the sound of stones clattering together and the splashing of sparks, the room lit up a little.
"There were a lot of people who felt they deserved Athena's favor, but they just ended up dying under the antlers and turned into dirt under the tree. β
Magellan carefully walked around the dark holes in the wooden floor, with skulls and suspiciously bright liquids, and stood not so far from the lights.
"The goddess does like humans, but she will only give humans what she likes. β
The old man said, letting out a long sigh.
"I just want to continue this brave deed, this is not the time when the gods decide what a person gets. β
The old man looked up and laughed exaggeratedly, revealing the few remaining teeth in his mouth, but there was no hint of a smile in those clear eyes.
Magellan couldn't help but get distracted, and he said in his heart: "When I was young, this must have been a big beauty." β
"Let's see if it's really what you say. β
The old man stood up, took all sorts of strange things from the table, and threw them into an earthenware urn.
Magellan saw more than one poisonous mushroom in these things that he had just picked out from the side of the pot, and he had a bad premonition in his heart.
Then a fire broke out in the hut, and the light of the fire darkened the corners of the house, making it look eerie. The old man put the urn on the fire, and Magellan looked at the black pattern on it, and his heart was even more bottomless.
It didn't take long for the old man to take a spoonful of clear liquid out of the urn with a wooden spoon. It looks transparent and colorful, and the gradient between the various colors is gorgeous.
"Drank it. β
The old man looked at him with a sneer, as if he had decided that Magellan would not dare to drink it.
Magellan smiled helplessly, took the spoon and drank the liquid in one gulp.
He savored the slightly pungent, refreshing taste in his mouth, waiting for something to happen, and then he noticed that the witch and the house had suddenly become taller.
Magellan understood almost instantly that he had become shorter, and then there was a cacophony of voices that was not good, for he heard the sound of at least a dozen jars and bottles breaking.
The old man sighed, but did not seem angry, she said "follow me" to Magellan, and walked out of the cabin.
In Magellan's field of vision, he began to retreat, but in his heart he actually wanted to turn around, which made Magellan have a very bad association.
Following the old man into the forest, Magellan heard her sigh all the time.
"After all, everyone in this world is different, but fate is the same, I don't know if you can succeed...... Athena is very picky. β
With that, the old man turned and left, leaving Magellan in the jungle.
But in his heart, there is a kind of comfort of the tiger returning to the mountains and forests, and a bloodthirsty impulse for no reason.
Magellan clearly felt that his sanity was leaving, but there was nothing he could do, he knew that he should become a beast, but he did not know what the test was asking him to do.
Soon, there was an answer to this question.
Magellan was strolling through the woods when suddenly a scream came from behind him: "Monster!"
The scream dragged away as Magellan turned around, leaving him with only a familiar back, and Magellan was suddenly in a state of reelβa sailor aboard the Queen Elizabeth's Revenge.
Magellan was desperately trying to figure out what to do, but his head was getting duller and duller, and his panic was overshadowed by primitive impulses.
He used all his strength to keep himself from chasing in the direction of the sailor's escape, but sadly, it didn't take long for Magellan to hear Edward's loud voice.
"Where is the monster, I'll clean it up, haha!"
"There!"
With an exclamation, gunfire erupted in the forest.
The sailors used the backward black powder that was common in this world, and the power was so poor that even Sherlock Holmes was reluctant to use it as a bomb. However, the pirates' firecrackers have been modified, and the iron sand produced is not small.
Almost at the same time as the shots rang out, Magellan lost his mind.
He turned around and saw that Edward was incredibly thin, and then let out a high-pitched scream and rushed forward.
The tree, as thick as a man's waist, was impossibly fragile, shattered like a toothpick in Magellan's eyes, and flew away.
"Get out of the way!"
Edward shouted, but still two sailors were bumped into by Magellan and flew out.
The sailors' handcuffs were transformed into a big belly and a small muzzle, and it took a long time to reload at a time, and now they had no power to fight back against Magellan, who had turned into a monster.
Magellan's heart was full of bloodthirsty madness, but in the corners of his heart where there was still reason, it was all cold despair.
It was then that he saw the Count of Monte Cristo.
The Count fell to his knees on one knee, arms outstretched, and words in his mouth. Magellan's eyesight had deteriorated terribly, but at some point he saw a golden glint in the count's eyes.
At that moment, Magellan was sprinting.
His strength was so unbelievable that the whole world was ridiculously fragile in his eyes.
