Since ancient times, although there is a method of disgust with victory, the river naturally flows eastward. The Shu people have boasted for a thousand years, and the overflow is not close to Zhang Yilou. This year, the irrigation of the mouth is damaged, and this matter may be ashamed. This poem is about the Dujiangyan of Li Bing, a water conservancy expert in the Warring States Period, who ensured 1,000 years of Shu "drought will lead water to infiltrate, and rain will plug the water gate, so the water and drought will follow people, and if you don't know hunger, there will be no famine year, and the world is called 'Tianfu', and finally irrigated the mouth and damaged the field in the Tang Dynasty, causing a catastrophe." Du Fu clearly pointed out in the poem that the method of disgust was used in this excellent water conservancy project, and the rupture was the retribution for using the demon method back then.

It turns out that there is a legend in the carpentry that the one who built Zhang Yilou on the side of Jiangyan was the public loss class, that is, Lu Ban himself. After the building was built, Lu Ban put a small wooden man carrying a burden in the recess of the beam, and put a grain of rice millet on each side of the burden to maintain the balance of the wooden man, leaving a sentence: the wooden man does not fall, and the water is not close to Shu. A thousand years later, in the year of the Dujiangyan break, before the flood, a large-scale rat plague broke out in Shudi. All the millet you can find, you can pull out the rats and eat them, even if you hide them on the beam. Therefore, Du Fu said: Although there is a method of aversion to victory since ancient times, the river naturally flows eastward. To be tired of winning is to be tired of winning, not to be invincible, which means that if you violate the objective law, you will have no good fruit to eat.

It's a pity that many people don't know this allusion, but instead use the aversion to victory as beating villains, and in the end they still harm others and themselves. ”

"Harm others and hurt yourself?" Miaozhu asked puzzled, "What do you say?"

"It's as if beating villains is also a kind of disgust, and the so-called 'disgust' means 'disgust and victory', which is the use of spells to curse or pray to achieve the purpose of defeating the person, object or monster that you hate. Usually, you can also see some disgusting things, such as carved peach versions, peach people, jade gossip cards, jade beast cards, swords, door gods and so on. Common and many, is tired of winning money, also known as winning money, is cast into the shape of a coin auspicious product or evil spirit. The front of this kind of money is cast with words such as 'Long live the thousand autumns', 'The world is peaceful', 'In and out of Daji', 'Yishu IKEA', etc., and the back has stars, double fishes, turtles and snakes, dragons and phoenixes for wearing and playing. Few stall owners understand it, and they all refer to it as 'spending money'.

I give these examples to say that there are good and bad things to be averse to. But if it is not a last resort, you can't use the aversion to evil. According to craftsmen and carpenters, this is a rule handed down by Patriarch Luban. Once the rules are broken, retribution comes. Therefore, the general carpentry technique is not used among peers, let alone on projects that are not built by themselves. ”

Hearing Tang Chen's words, Zeng Lao was a little enlightened: "This is a bit like an ancient peach talisman?"

Tang Chen pondered for a while before he said, "The ancient peach talisman, which is now the Spring Festival couplet, is also a kind of disgusting thing. But this kind of disgust is to prevent others from doing bad to oneself. At that time in the Song Dynasty, every household set off firecrackers and exchanged peach charms on the door every New Year, warding off evil spirits and attracting blessings, which meant to be tired of winning. The great writer Wang Anshi also has a poem "Yuan Ri": "In the sound of firecrackers, the spring breeze sends warmth into Tusu." Thousands of households always replace the new peach with the old one. The custom of placing disgusting objects can be seen. ”

"Isn't this like a kind of magic weapon?"

Tang Chen said: "Magic weapons have a deep relationship with disgusting things, and it can even be said that witchcraft and feng shui also have a deep relationship. However, the times are developing, just like changing the peach charm, which continues to this day, not changing the peach charm has been changed to changing the Spring Festival couplets, firecrackers are still released, and the ceremony is still similar to the ancients, and the real meaning is the ancient meeting.

Not only the Spring Festival, but also the lights on the fifteenth day of the first lunar month, the insertion of mugwort on the Dragon Boat Festival, the eating of moon cakes on the Mid-Autumn Festival, and the drinking of realgar wine on the Double Ninth Festival in September, are also conventional, no different from the ancients, and even the patterns are renovated, which have the meaning of disgust in it. However, because it is a national festival, there are many festive elements, and the element of disgust is diluted.

The real aversion to victory is to have a professional cast a spell on a certain thing, and the aversion must be used, and the professional will use the aversion to overturn, suppress, hide or block the originally good or bad things, which are generally used to harm people. And the responsibility of protecting the family and the house falls on the magic weapon......"

Miaozhu said angrily: "Who invented this kind of ghost thing, it is not beneficial, and it can harm people?"

Tang Chen said with a smile: "This can't be blamed on people, because carpenters belong to the lower class of working people in feudal society, their economic income is low, and their social status is not high, isn't there a third-rate and nine-religion theory?"

China's traditional small-scale peasant economy has led many Chinese to develop a selfish mentality, so when dealing with carpenters, even if they carefully design and build houses for their own families, some owners will treat carpenters at a loss in terms of food or wages. Not to mention those feudal landlords or feudal bureaucratic families in the middle and upper strata of society, they look down on carpenters who make a living by craft, and will disrespect them very much, and even do bad deeds such as not paying wages, and there are many folk tales that landlords abuse carpenters.

Therefore, in order to win a certain social status and necessary social respect for oneself, carpentry is of course ultimately to obtain a certain economic income in order to achieve self-survival and development, so 'carpentry weariness' came into being. Therefore, through the prayers and sacrifices of the ancestors, the taboos of language and behavior, jargon and hidden words, etc., and even with the help of the power of ancient witchcraft, the carpenter carried forward the special method of 'carpentry weariness', in order to seek his own safety and the success of his work.

Of course, there is a good side to things, and naturally there is a bad side. There are carpenters who use their aversion to benefit their employers, and naturally there are carpenters who retaliate against employers who deduct wages. What's more, after learning the art of carpentry, he will harm people everywhere. But harming others will eventually harm oneself, and carpentry is not unbreakable because of the origin of witchcraft. As long as they meet a master and use a little trick, they will not be able to please them. ”
