Chapter 502: Meditation

What does it feel like to be home?

Tang Chen told you that it was actually not comfortable.

Originally, Tang Chen was still thinking about dealing with it easily, but in the face of so many people's "ardent anticipation" eyes, did he dare not go all out? It was precisely because of this that Tang Chen felt an inexplicable sense of tension in his heart.

"Master Tang, do you want to rest first?"

Although the second brother is old, he will only be more tactful in dealing with people, and he also takes care of Tang Chen's emotions.

"I'll just drink my saliva and calm down......"

Tang Chen also knew that there had been a small change in his mentality, and he needed to calm down urgently. If you use this mentality of gaining and losing to crack the feng shui bureau, I am afraid that the possibility of failure will be greater. Although the second brother didn't know about the change in Tang Chen's mentality, drinking water was a very legitimate request, which could be said to be very common, and he didn't think too much: "Please inside, please ...... inside"

After welcoming Tang Chen and Zhou Deqing into the house, the fourth brother personally made tea and entertained them.

Zhou Deqing was amazed: "Zeng Lao, your ancestral house is well preserved, five bays, with a protective house, a mountain court, symmetrical on both sides, a horizontal expansion layout, a five-drop courtyard in depth, a courtyard unit organized by the courtyard, a corridor, and a water run through the whole house." The wooden frame is used as a load-bearing structure, with a hard gable roof, a curved and warped ridge, and a 'dovetail' ridge angle...... To be honest, it is rare to see such a well-preserved ancient house. ”

The second brother is the master here, and he said with a smile on crutches: "Old Zhou praised it, it's just something left by our ancestors, we have to take care of it." In fact, I don't know how much pride is contained in these words.

Zhou Deqing looked at the ancient house with red brick walls, and nodded secretly in his heart. This "three-in-one patio type" of the ancient style house, there is a patio in the middle, a hall in the middle, and wings on both sides. In the southern Fujian dialect, several advances are generally called "several falls", such as the saying of "three falls and big wins", which refers to the three advances of Dazhan. The form is similar to the courtyard houses in Kyoto, inheriting the traditional Chinese symmetrical architectural structure, and the basic form is "a few zhang and a few large houses". The layout of the ancient house also shows the fine tradition of Chinese culture - respecting the old and loving the young. Its layout is organized on the central axis, symmetrical on both sides, with the hall as the center, and successively surrounding the large house, the second room, the front and the back. The main hall is dedicated to the ancestors and gods who founded the family, showing the highest status and the respect that future generations have for them. The other rooms are arranged according to generations, which fully embodies the spirit of respecting the elderly and caring for the young, and shows the harmonious atmosphere of the family.

The main color of the ancient house is red. Red is a traditional Chinese symbol of festivity, success, or being valued and welcomed. "Minnan Red" presents a kind of red with festivity, and the people of Minnan have been fond of red on behalf of festivity, auspiciousness and vitality since ancient times, and have continued to use red as the main color of the building. The white stone, bluestone, log color and auxiliary color of the decoration in the red brick houses in southern Fujian complement each other with the main color of brick red.

This kind of red brick of the ancient style big house is made of the soil in the rice field in southern Fujian as the brick, and is made of pine branches after entering the kiln, the color is gorgeous, the texture is excellent, and there are two or three purple-black textures on the surface, so it is called "smoke burning brick". Not only that, the red brick wall relief of this ancient house is rich and colorful, with birds and beasts, flowers and birds, fish and insects, and landscape figures, and the patterns are ancient and wonderful.

In addition, the ingenious red brick "mirror wall" is divided into several blocks from bottom to top, and each surface is called a "block". There are counter legs, group blocks, waist blocks, body blocks, waterwheel blocks, trench brick blockages and corner cards, and the red brick skills are vividly played on the body block, which is pleasing to the eye to see Zhou Deqing, and even claims to be good.

Not to mention the second brother, even if it is a young man now, he has spent a lot of effort to decorate his room, and when he is praised by friends, he will be happy, let alone the old man of the previous generation. Zhou Deqing can be regarded as the pulse of the second brother, and praised the past, so that he knew that he couldn't close his mouth, and almost didn't laugh off his dentures.

But after laughing, the second brother sighed: "It's a pity that it has its form, but it loses the inside......"

Zhou Deqing was stunned: "How do you say this?"

"Old Zhou, have you noticed the small river in front of the door?" the second brother sighed, "We still used a pump to pump this water up from the well, just pretending." ”

Zhou Deqing nodded and said, "I heard about this matter...... and his eyes glanced at Zeng Lao.

Zeng Lao smiled bitterly: "In fact, we haven't slept a peaceful sleep for almost two years because of this matter. Old Zhou, you also know. When we people in Fujian Province build a house, the first step is to look at feng shui to choose the address of the house. The first is to observe the mountain, in Feng Shui theory, the mountain is the change of the form of the 'dragon', and the mountain is the 'dragon vein'. The undulating, winding, and moving 'dragon' is believed to be able to 'gather the wind'. The second is to observe the flow of water, which must be slow, flat, curved, and surrounding, and this is the ideal water. The homestead strives to sit in the north and face south, that is, 'negative yin and yang'. It should be backed by a large mountain or hill, facing the mountain, with small hills on the left and right sides. It is also necessary to be close to a river or a large pond, but it is taboo to carry back water. The ancestors of our Zeng family took a fancy to the feng shui of this place, so they built a house here, but they didn't expect it...... Alas!"

Everyone looked at Tang Chen, and Tang Chen smiled meaningfully: "Elder Zeng is right, it is indeed like this......"

In fact, what Zeng Lao said is all feng shui common sense, who does not pay attention to the location of the homestead when building a house? It's just that in addition to the site selection, there are many things to pay attention to. In Feng Shui, dragon, cave, sand, water, and direction are the five main tenets of Feng Shui, among which the vertical direction is the key in Feng Shui......

Whether it is a yang house or a yin house, we must first inspect the water outlet, see where the water comes from and where it is going, and then orient it after distinguishing clearly. There is a feng shui mantra: "The way of geography is just mountains and rivers". The mountain has a line, and the water goes to the back, taking advantage of where it comes, and from where it meets. Looking for the dragon point, first look at the water potential. The method of observing the water, where the two waters must be able to see the mountains. The water will be the end of the dragon, and the water will stop when the water is crossed. When the water flies away, the gas disperses, and when the water melts, the internal gas gathers. Water is the blood of the dragon, and the air outside the cave. The dragon is not sent by water, and there is no way to know where it comes from, and the cave is not the water world, and there is no way to know where it ends. When you don't see the mountains, you should first look at the water, and there are mountains without water to find the land. Everything belongs to the dragon's lair, and it depends on the water as a proof. It can be seen the importance of "water" in Feng Shui.

As the saying goes, "the master of the mountain and the water is the main wealth", water is regarded as "the blood of the earth, and the qi outside the hole". "The law of feng shui is to get water as the top", and auspicious land cannot be without water. Feng Shui masters believe that when the water flies away, the qi disperses, and when the water melts, the internal qi gathers. If the "water" is not auspicious, then no matter how good the feng shui is, it is limited.

In this respect, Zeng Lao is right, but it is too superficial.
