6. Impersonating a prophet
Medivan's story begins thousands of years ago, when humans and the High Elves established friendship and co-founded Dalaran, and Dalaran was led by an organization called Kenrito.
The High Elves are a branch separated from the Night Elves, during the War of the Ancients, due to the abuse of magic by the upper elves led to the invasion of the Burning Legion, after defeating the demons of the Burning Legion, the remaining elves decided to abandon magic and practice all natural spells, but there is a group of elves who do not want to abandon the power of magic, they are the current High Elves.
In order to continue their study of magic, they left the Night Elves and crossed the Endless Sea to the current state of Quel'Thalas, when humans had just appeared in this land and were being bullied by trolls, because the elves had been fighting with trolls since ancient times, and the High Elves had to take it from the trolls if they wanted to occupy a place, so in order to deal with the trolls, the High Elves decided to use humans.
Using humans, and all they pay for is some low-level magic, it seems like a good deal, but they underestimate human creativity.
Although the lifespan is only a hundred years, humans are extremely curious and creative, and unlike the high-elves, a long-lived race that spends most of their time seeking pleasure, humans are short-lived and can even spend half their lives on the research bench.
It was this persistence and curiosity that made the High Elves marvel at the study of magic in a certain aspect, and so, at the suggestion of a human mage named Adogon, the mages founded the country in Dalaran, with the participation of the High Elves, and the two races studied magic together.
But the High Elves always remember how demons were attracted in ancient times, and after the War of the Ancients, there were still many demons left in Azeroth, and in order to prevent demons from threatening the world again, the Guardian was created.
The High Elves extracted a wisp of the Sunwell's essence and, with the cooperation of all the archmages, infused it into one of the chosen mages, giving that person unimaginable powers.
The first Guardian was named Alodi, a hybrid of a human and a High Elf, and the Guardians who came after him included both humans and High Elves, who inherited the power of the Guardian until the appearance of Egwene.
The arrogant woman refused to pass on the power of the Guardian to the man assigned by Kenrito, and Egwene thought that these magnates were just trying to use it for themselves, which was the high-sounding reason, and she no longer obeyed Kenrito's orders and began to act alone, and the strength of the Guardian was too strong, and although Kenrito sent troops to hunt her down, there was nothing she could do about her.
The power of the Guardian can give people a long lifespan, and Egwene has lived like this for hundreds of years, I don't know how long, but at least three hundred years old.
During her quest to hunt demons in Northrend, she met and defeated Sargeras, the boss of the Burning Legion.
But of course this is a conspiracy of Sargeras, the people are Titans, and even have the power to destroy the Pantheon alone, can he be defeated by your little guardian?
Of course it couldn't be, it was just a doppelganger of his, not even a doppelganger, it might be an illusion, anyway, after pretending to be defeated, he leaned into her stomach while Egwene was not paying attention.
Egwene is also a human and a woman, and humans are social animals, and eventually Egwene feels tired and decides to give up, and it just so happens that she sparks a spark of love with one of Kenrito's pursuers, Neras Elan, and then gives birth to Medivan and transfers the power of the Guardian to her own son.
Perhaps Kenrito felt that young Medivin was easier to control, or perhaps they were afraid of Egwen, and they agreed to this, but what no one expected was that Sargeras's soul had quietly transferred to Medivan and controlled him.
So Medivan began to build the Dark Gate, and the Burning Legion bewitched the orc race on a planet called Draenor, and the orcs who drank the blood of demons were crazy and bloodthirsty, which was the best cannon fodder chosen by the Burning Legion to attack Azeroth, and the orc war began.
The orc war was fought twice before and after, and it ended in the defeat of the orcs, which is something that everyone knows, and now continue to talk about Medivan.
Medivan's demonic possession was eventually discovered by his good friend Anduin Lothar, who killed Medivan with the help of Khadgar, a mage's apprentice at the time, who appears to be dead, but is not.
He was actually resurrected, by his old mother Egwene, Egwene is a chicken thief, she didn't completely give the power of the Guardian to Medivan, she retained the power that can make her life super long, and in the end Mother's love took over, she used this power in exchange for Medivan's resurrection.
In this way, Medivan has lived incognito until now.
As his mage tower has been eroded by magic for many years, making the surrounding space extremely unstable, and occasionally fragments of the past or future appear there, Medivan learns of the shocking secrets of the Burning Legion's impending invasion, and he begins his journey of persuasion.
He first went to Lordaeron, the strongest kingdom of mankind at the time, to persuade King Terenus to raise an army to Kalimdor to fight the demons, but he didn't even dare to show his true face, the old king would believe that he had ghosts.
And then Zhang Li also knew that he went to Dalaran to try to persuade Antonidas, but was kicked out, and he would go to persuade Arthas and Gianna in the future, Arthas ignored him, but he succeeded in fooling Gianna, at that time the Scourge invaded, Lordaeron was devastated, Gianna led a large number of refugees to Kalimdor, and established the later city of Seramo.
Later, Medivan also found the orc chief Thrall, and also tricked Thrall to go to Kalimdor to fight the demons, and the Salju clan migrated to Kalimdor, which was an indirect help to the orcs.
Therefore, Zhang Li knew that what Arthas said was exactly what happened when Medivan first tried to persuade Terenus.
"I know who you're talking about, but trust me, I know better than he does. Zhang Li smiled a little mysteriously, but his animalistic muscles made this smile look very hideous.
"The catastrophe is more terrible than you think, and all spirits have warned me that this catastrophe can only be avoided if I do what I say!"
"What disaster? I still don't know what you're talking about!?" Alsace looked completely confused.
"I think he's a madman, a god with a bad brain, and you have the ability to let that spirit tell us personally. Then the captain let out a scornful laugh, which seemed to him to be ...... Wild guys are either crazy or trying to gain power in this way, which is really naïve to the extreme.
"Why don't you go and talk to my father, but to me?" Alsace didn't believe either.
"Trust me! By the time I reach Lordaeron, it's too late! You must listen to me, or the world will be destroyed!" Zhang Li became very excited, he grabbed Arthas and shook it vigorously, deliberately stimulating the beast nature in this body, making him look really urgent.
"Hey, what are you doing!" "Stay away from Your Highness!"
He was isolated from Alsace by the captain.
"I'm sorry, sometimes it's hard for me to control the bestiality in my body. Zhang Li was trying to suppress his emotions.
"Really, then I suggest you go to the doctor. The Captain's tone was very disdainful.
"This ...... I'm sorry my friend, but what you said is so inexplicable, why don't you talk to Mr. Uther when he comes, maybe he will understand what you mean. Arthas smiled awkwardly, in fact, he also completely regarded Zhang Li as a madman.
"You will know that when the living dead appear to you, you will believe in my ......"
