Chapter 108: The Bird's Nest
The echoes from the valley were pale and feeble, and Andy felt the air flow in his ears, the smell of blood filling the rising air, and England's sharp claws shaking his tormented body wantonly. Pen & Fun & Pavilion www.biquge.info
Andy's right leg was already unconscious, and England deftly landed on the edge of a cliff. Its massive body rattled against the gray rocks.
Andy was already in a state of vertigo after being hung upside down by the big bird for a long time, he trembled his body to relieve the congestion of his head, when he looked up at the huge beak above and instantly collapsed, the indescribable fear in his heart spread throughout his body like a chill. He never expected that Aldrich's mount in the crotch would meet him in such a way.
After a pause on the cliff, England took off again and came to a steep rock face, where a dozen thick logs formed a sturdy bird's nest in the crevices of the rock, and the dry thatch lay on the thick branches seemed very warm. This nest, a few meters from the top of the cliff, resembles the spacious Alex Tavern in Muddy Lane, where four fledgling chicks open their slightly immature beaks and wait for England to return from predation.
Andy looked at the scene below him and knew that there was no way he could escape, and the damage that Taryn had done to himself would become a history that no one knew as he disappeared. He wanted to meet his little friend at the last moment, as well as the Archer who had been in trouble all day, and the sourness in his heart made him unable to let go for a while, and sad tears dripped down his ears into the bird's nest.
England let go of his claws and threw Andy into the nest, the violent impact relieving him for a moment, and he used his hands to support his trembling body and watched the approaching chicks in front of him. Standing at the top of the cliff, England let out a chirp that was so thick that it seemed to pierce the clouds floating above the cliff.
Andy knew that England was going to kill him, but the chicks that were approaching seemed to be more interested in the fresh prey. The four chicks flicked their wings and came to Andy's side without fear, and they each greeted the impending prey with their sharp beaks.
Andy's right leg was pierced by England's claws with two thumb-sized wounds, and the broken flesh turned outward, and the blood that kept flowing greatly stimulated the fledgling's attack. The four chicks began to form a predatory encirclement around him, and their noisy cries filled the entire nest.
Andy used his hands to prop up the thatch beneath him, and with his intact left leg, he kicked the wood that stood out of the nest. Standing at the top of the cliff, England calmly watched the chicks' predation training, seemingly indifferent to the noise in the nest.
Andy used his left leg to chase away the approaching chicks, who were swaying their heads to the weeds flying around. He saw that the chicks who had been disrupted by himself were not attacking for the time being, so he immediately glanced behind him and observed the surrounding terrain by the way.
Andy found that the nest was built on the edge of a cliff, and there was a dead end near the cliff, so he began to move towards the dead end of the nest in order to prevent himself from being attacked on his belly. He moved to the end of the nest in excruciating pain, rubbing his back hard against the rock face, barely standing on his left leg as his ass moved away from the messy weeds.
The chicks saw their prey actually stand up, and the difference in height caused the little ones to start backing away. Andy deliberately made a ferocious appearance, and a cry similar to Ralph came out of his throat. The chicks retreated to the other side of the nest and did not dare to move forward, blinking their eyes and gradually forming a confrontation with Andy.
England at the top of the cliff spotted the situation inside the bird's nest and immediately flew down, the wide wingspan brought a gust of wind, Andy looked at the other party's cold eyes and knew that the dying struggle might be over. He was groping on the rock wall sideways, when suddenly he touched a loose rock.
Andy shook the rock that was about to fall off with his hands, and he was ready to make a final effort with it. If the rock happens to hit England's eye, then the chicks at their feet are unlikely to pose any threat to themselves, and it is highly likely that they will have a chance to escape.
England fell, the wide nest instantly became a little crowded, and the four chicks saw that the supporting figure had arrived, and immediately attacked again. Andy finally removed the loose rock, and he held the only "hope" in his hands.
Andy stared at England's eyes, brown as baked flatbread, and attacking such a large target would have been a breeze for a trained Storm Prophet. He saw the opportunity and used all his strength to throw the rock in his hand at the opposite side. Just as he heard the "pop", England actually used his huge beak to block the rock that flew towards it.
The rock that hit the cliff wall snapped, and the two stones that fell on the thatch of the bird's nest instantly had a strange effect, and a blue light fell like a ghost. England immediately instigated his wings to fall backwards, and the blue light from the rocks gradually dissipated.
Andy looked at the rocks on the thatch and whispered: "I didn't expect this place to be able to encounter blue ghosts, it was really in vain for Tylen to search for ten years in the Black Mountain." ”
Enraged by the prey's actions, England attacked again. Andy's dodge was clearly useless, and he was easily caught by England's wide beak and quickly tossed into the air. When Andy, who was about to fall into the bird's beak with his head down, looked at the clear blue sky, a sense of calm that he had never felt before, and he clenched his fists and sang the requiem of the Buniers.
While England was teasing Andy, a dozen pairs of eyes beside the cliff kept an eye on what was happening in the bird's nest. They had already drawn their bows and arrows, and those flaming arrows were pointing at the wide nest at the same time. Just then, a long arrow shot from a distance pierced England's eye.
This unexpected situation was not expected by those who were ready to set fire with bows and arrows in hand. England in the nest did not continue to move, and the huge body fell suddenly, and the originally closed beak slowly opened. Andy was immediately refreshed at the sight of the light above his head, and he crawled out with his tongue covered with slime as he pulled his slippery beak hard.
Andy immediately let out a cry of excitement when he found that England had suddenly died, and he looked at the bow and arrow that pierced the bird's eyes and shouted, "It's so fucking relieved, you want to eat me for no reason?"
