Chapter 336: Stop (Part II)

The sound of the trumpet stopped, and calm returned to the hall.

Once again, every pair of eyes in the hall, including the dark eyes, turned back to the platform.

Robert grabbed the crown and stood up. He didn't know what the sound of the trumpet meant, whose end it was.

All he knew was that no matter how painful it was, he had to finish the game.

Lorana ...... It's the person he cares about in his heart.

No matter where Berclere and Calamon were, he couldn't help.

Robert's eyes didn't move, looking at the blonde woman standing on the platform. Almost unexpectedly, his gaze turned to Ella, who was standing beside Lorana, his expression masked by his helmet.

She gestured.

Robert felt movement behind him, like a cold wind blowing towards him.

He turned and saw Sir Souths walking towards him, his orange eyes full of anger.

Robert took a step back, knowing that he couldn't fight this monster that was beyond life and death.

"Stop!" he raised his crown and pointed it at the ground. "Stop him, Ella, or I'll throw something like this to the ground in all my might. ”

Sir South's silent laughter and unflinching pressed forward, his hand that could kill at the touch of a finger was outstretched.

"What are you fighting for?" said the Necromantic Knight. "My magic will turn you to dust, and the crown will fall at my feet. ”

"Sir South," a voice came from the platform in the center of the hall, "stop. Let the one who has won this crown give it to me!"

Soth hesitated, his hand still on Robert, orange eyes looking at Chipora suspiciously.

Ella took off her helmet and looked at Robert only.

He could see her brown eyes glinting, and her whiskers flushed with excitement.

"Robert, you're going to bring me the crown, aren't you?" yelled Ella.

Robert said calmly. "Yes," he licked, his dry lips. "I'll bring you the crown. ”

"Guards!" Ella commanded them forward. "Escort him.

Anyone dares to touch him, and I authorize him to be killed. Sir South, make sure he walks safely to me. ”

Robert looked at Sir South, who was slowly lowering his hand. "He's still your master, miss," Robert snorted contemptuously, thinking he heard the Necro Knight.

Sir Souths walked up behind him, the chill from his body nearly freezing Robert.

The two of them walked down the stairs together in a very strange combination: a transparent knight in black armor, and a half-elf holding a blood-stained crown.

Eriakas stood at the edge of the stairs, his men reluctantly getting out of the way.

As Robert walked past them, he saw many pairs of angry eyes, and he saw some people clenching daggers with unspoken intent in their eyes.

Ella's own soldiers gathered around, but most of them relied on the smell of Sir South's death to make him safely through the crowd, and Robert began to sweat.

Whoever wears this crown will reign over the world - but one night the killer's dagger may end it all!

Robert and Sir South's walk on, and soon they came to the bottom of a platform carved into a snake's head.

Ella stood at the top, looking incomparably beautiful because of the victory.

Robert climbed so many stone steps alone, leaving Sir Southe at the bottom of the stairs, orange flames burning in his eyes.

When Robert walked to the top of the platform and walked to the head of the snake, he could see Lolana standing beside Ella.

Lolana's face was pale and she forced herself to compose. She glanced at him, and at the sight of the blood-stained crown, she immediately looked away. He didn't know what she was thinking.

It doesn't matter. He could explain it - Ella ran to him and grabbed him. Cheers resounded throughout the hall.

"Robert!" she gasped. "You and I are indeed destined to rule this world together!

You're so good, you're wonderful! I'm willing to give you everything...... Anything—"

"How's Lorana?" Robert asked in a low voice. He narrowed his eyes slightly, eyes that could tell his bloodline, staring directly at Ella.

Ella glanced back at the elf, her face pale and her eyes stiff, as if they were a corpse.

"If you want her. Ella shrugged, and she only said to him.

"You'll get me too, Robert, that together we can lead armies and rule the world during the day.

In the evening, Robert, it will be just for the two of us, you and me. Her breathing grew rapid, and her hands rested on his bearded face.

"Honey, put the crown on my head. ”

Robert looked at those brown eyes, and he saw that there was warmth, enthusiasm, and excitement in them.

He could feel Ella's body pressed against him, with some longing.

All around them, the soldiers shouted frantically, and the noise came up like waves.

Robert slowly lifted the crown and put it not on Ella's head but on his own.

"No, Ella," he yelled so everyone could hear.

"One of us will rule day and night – that's me. ”

Laughter began to erupt in the hall, mixed with angry whispers. Ella's eyes widened in surprise, then narrowed again.

"Don't act rashly," Robert grabbed her hand as he prepared to pull out the knife at his waist. He grabbed her tightly and looked down at her.

"I'm getting out of this place," he whispered in her ear. "Let's go with Lorana.

You and your troops will escort me out. I'll give you the crown when we get out of here safely.

Betray me, and you'll never get a chance to wear it.

Got it?"

Ella smiled contemptuously. "So you still care about her the most?" she whispered.

"Yes," Robert replied. He grabbed her hand and saw the pain in her eyes.

"I swear by the souls of two of my most beloved people – Stone Brightbright. Hubble Stove. Do you believe me?"

"I believe in you," Ella said angrily mixed with pain. Her eyes lit up with reluctant admiration again.

"You could have had so much ......"

Robert let go of her without saying a word. He turned and walked over to Lolana, who had her back to him.

Robert grabbed her hand. "Follow me. He said coldly.

The soldier's noise began to rise, and he could feel the darkness above his head, and he was coldly watching the power transfer below, to see which strong man would come out in the end.

Lorana didn't react at all. She turned her head slowly, her honey-colored hair tangled.

The big green eyes were not angry at all. He saw nothing, no fear, no anger in it.

Everything will be fine, he thought silently, a throbbing pain in his heart.

I'll explain—there was a sudden flash of silver light in front of my eyes, a flick of blonde hair, and something hit Robert in the abdomen.

He staggered forward, unsteady in his attempt to catch Lorana.

But he couldn't catch her.

Lolana pushed him aside and lunged at Ella, grabbing the sword that Ella wore at her waist.

Her actions were completely unexpected. Ella struggled briefly, but Lorana's hand was already on the hilt of her sword.

With a quick movement, she pulled the sword out of its sheath and struck Ella hard with the hilt, knocking her to the platform. Lorana turned and ran to the edge of the platform.

"Lorana, stop!" Robert jumped forward to grab her, suddenly feeling the tip of his sword already at his throat.

"Don't move, Tancyrus," Rolana ordered. Her green eyes were full of excitement, and she raised her sword without hesitation.

"Or you'll die. If necessary, I will kill you. ”

Robert took a step forward. The sharp blade pierced his skin. He stopped helplessly, and Lolana smiled sadly.

"Do you see, Robert, I'm not the spoiled kid you know anymore.

I am no longer my father's daughter, I only know what is going on inside my father's palace. I'm not even a golden general anymore.

I'm Lorana. I don't need your help to decide whether I live or die. ”

"Listen to me, Lorana," Robert pleaded, stepping forward to push the blade away from the cut on his skin.

He saw Lorana's lips close slightly, and her green eyes twinkle.

Then, with a sigh, she slowly lowered her sword. Robert smiled.

Lolana shrugged and pushed him off the platform.

The half-elf frantically waved his hands and quickly fell to the ground. As he fell, he saw Lolana with the sword in her hand, and jumped down with him, landing easily beside him.

He hit the ground so hard that he could barely breathe. The crown fell from his hand and rolled on the ground. He could hear Ella yelling angrily above him.

"Lorana!" he cried out holding his breath, frantically searching for her traces. He saw a flash of silver......

"Crown, bring it to me!" Chipella's voice echoed in his ears.

But she's not the only one shouting. All the dragoons in the hall stood up and ordered their troops to rush forward.

All the dragons flew up from their perch, and the five-headed bodies behind the darkness looked down on the race to see who was the strongest winner in the end - survival of the fittest!

Dragonmen's claws, goblins' boots, humans' steel-encrusted boots stepped over Robert.

He tried to get up and avoid being trampled to death, and he tried to follow the silver light.

He saw it once, then disappeared again, disappearing into the melee.

A distorted face appeared in front of him, dark eyes glittering with rage. The hilt of the spear struck him hard in the waist.

Robert fell down with a wail, and the hall was in utter confusion.

There was a satisfied smile on the evil but charming face behind the darkness, and she didn't have to worry about the situation going beyond her expectations, because everything was under control.

Robert and Lorana, the two poor creatures, and even Ella, are just pawns after the darkness.
