Chapter Twenty-Four: Henry: My Role Is a Little Small!
The world lacks common sense about the mysterious.
The knowledge of demons is even greater.
Morris was sure that there would never be anyone on either ship who knew them better than he did. Not even Leonard, who summoned her out.
In fact, for magicians like Moris, who wander on the edge of darkness, the whisperers—demons and devils—are the ones you need to know when you come into contact with the mysteries, and you need to be careful about the objects of your dealings.
They are known for their manipulation of evil and demagoguery, and these scum are accustomed to these tricks, and they often use rhetoric to deceive the souls of men as food reserves.
On top of that, their body size is beyond common sense.
Anyone who is well versed in mystical history knows that whisperers are everywhere. The barrier between hell and this world is not as impregnable as some in power claim.
The world is in shambles.
Mysteries often believe that the Three Pillars created only one side of the world—that is, Tirel, including Furren and the Endless Sea.
On the other side of the world, Hell is said to be a place with only two colors: red and black.
The red ones are magma, blood, rivers, and the perennial rain of fire, and the black ones are scorched earth. The human respiratory organs cannot carry the air there, and the human digestive organs have nothing to do with the food there.
It was a hideous soil.
In fact, no one with a basic aesthetic taste would ever want to build Hell, and the same is true for the Three Pillars.
If they had prepared a plan and an outline of the laws before the creation of the world, then there must not have been any of them related to hell.
Under this premise, the appearance of hell can be said to be an accident.
Unlike Tyrel, which was carefully built and tended by the gods, it was born and evolved on its own simply following ancient laws.
When the Three Pillars laid out the forests, the sea, the deserts, the mountains, and the wastelands for the box garden in the back garden above the stars, it gave birth to scorched earth and rivers of blood.
As they carefully carved eyebrows for newborn life, it gave birth to countless whisperers.
As they tease through Tirel's disordered order and law, it becomes cruel, violent, absurd, unreasonable, and difficult to survive.
By the time the three gods found out about it, and discovered that the young Tyrell had a twin brother, they were no longer able to destroy it.
Because the law is unshakable. Unless the gods destroy the whole world together.
It's like a coin that you can scratch one side and grind it flat. But you can never let one side disappear and the other stand on its own. This is one of the laws of the world.
For the gods, the appearance of the opposite side of the world is like an unplanned pregnancy. This makes Hell an unfavored child. They eventually decided to put a barrier between the two, making it impossible for the Whisperers to cross it.
The gods of heaven follow their words. The law is unshakable. From this point of view, the barriers of the world are unbreakable.
As experts at exploiting loopholes and studying contract terms, the Whisperers never have to be here in person. All of the famous Whisperers throughout history have created an arbitrary remote-controlled shell in Tirel through a method called "projection".
They are full of hatred and wreak havoc on the front of the world, trying to make it another hell as well.
They are unscrupulous, because the whisperer who is killed in the front of the world is nothing more than a doppelganger, a "projection". The Lord is still happy on the opposite side of the world.
Sending demons back to hell is just sending them back to hell.
......
Sending Lilith back to Hell is not an easy job.
At least, Morris is helpless now.
If he has enough materials, he can prepare an exorcism ritual. But he is not a believer in any deity, and the power of the ritual will be greatly reduced.
And in this chaotic situation, there was no one to protect Morris's ritual, and he himself was not lightly injured, and the rash exorcism was just to deliver food in the past. You can't do this with just a lot of blood. Morris is aware of this.
But he didn't need to think about it so much at the moment, because there were other troubles waiting for him.
He met with Leonard.
Morris took a position to deal with the rocking waves of the sea, and then quietly glanced at Peters and Henry, who were left and right, before turning his gaze to Leonard who was running towards him.
"Ever since I let you scum go on the Beer Keg. ”
Morris took a deep breath, frowned, and said, "I thought even a pig would learn to be a little better." ”
"Then you don't know much about us people. A smirking Leonard wiped his blood-stained sword and said, "Navarre's shit aristocracy - Mr. Mulris." ”
"I'll teach you a good lesson like I did last time. "To let you know what the dignity of a nobleman and a magician is." ”
"I've had enough of your boring tricks!" Leonard replied dismissively. If what Mistress Lilith said was true, then there really wasn't anything difficult for this third-rate magician to deal with.
Just don't give him a chance.
He stabbed a sword with great speed, but the sword was held back by Morris. Unlike Leonard's swordsmanship that he honed between life and death, Morris has been training since he was a child. And there are several knights with superb martial arts to feed him.
But his real combat experience is pitiful.
In particular, he was not lightly injured, and the enemy's swordsmanship was even rarer.
Leonard's sword momentum was unstoppable, and he almost gave up the opportunity to change his moves. Morris secretly complained that if his left hand was also intact, he might still be able to fight with him.
As for now, all he can do is not let himself die so ugly.
Morris gritted his teeth, he didn't call for help.
In fact, among the rest, except for Peters, who was also in a bitter battle, there was no one on this ship who could match Leonard's swordsmanship.
In the distance, Robert's battlefield began to shift again, and with the enemy losing his leader, Robert gradually regained the upper hand. The rebels of Aurus were constantly screaming and falling into the water.
But Morris knew that it would be temporary, if they didn't get rid of the demon, or if they lost men in the battle with her. Then everything will end at worst.
"Seriously. Morris gritted his teeth and slashed Leonard's sword, pressed against the damp wooden wall, gasped, and asked, "Do we have any grudges, why do you keep staring at me?"
Leonard didn't answer, he stepped forward, and slashed at Morris's head with a sword with a blushing face. He didn't expect this third-rate magic dealer to be so superb in swordsmanship.
You can still maneuver with him with just one hand.
It was a blow to him.
Unaware of this, Morris dodged the blow in frustration, his sword slashing through his collar - nearly kissing him on the neck.
As he stood still panting, his sword-wielding right hand could no longer stop trembling.
"I thought that someone with such superb swordsmanship should be a strong-willed person. Morris stared at Leonard, who was slowly taking a stance, and said, "Do you also listen to the devil's rhetoric?"
"You're boasting about yourself. Leonard sighed and said:
"If you hadn't been hurt, I wouldn't have been able to win against you. ”
