Chapter 325: The Battle of Ideas
Dawn finally understood what it was like to say "not very comfortable" by Kurolo, the rough and dilapidated cargo box car running along the rudimentary track like a sick mad cow, the speed changing with the undulations of the terrain, and the roar of the air and the tooth-aching "squeak" in her ears. With Dawn's physique, there was a feeling of nausea, but Kurolo was excited, as if this crazy mode of transportation had activated his racial nature.
"This is the most terrible vehicle I've ever ridden, not one of them!" said the sallow face, obviously uncomfortable.
"You're so tasteless that this way of traveling is the rhythm of life!" retorted Kurolo dismissively.
"Don't dwell on that, it's a little weird here!" Dawn reminded. They were on an empty platform, and the surroundings were very flat. There are several similar tunnel openings behind them, which shows that this is a transit station.
With a solemn expression, Kurolo took out his natal gold coin, and then gently threw it away. The gold coin that landed in the palm of his hand did not show any side, but stood upright, and the surface of the gold coin was still trembling.
"Let's go, they're aware of our coming!" Kurolo snorted coldly, and walked towards a large stone cavern.
"What used to be ahead?"
"The square where the goods are distributed, the widest place in the corridor, it's hard to say now!" Kulolo replied very seriously.
The old huge stone gate made a tooth-aching sound, countless dust continued to fall from all sides, and a huge and boundless square appeared in front of the Dawn and the others. It's a pity that the square is not empty, but densely packed with humanoid objects of about five meters.
"My dear brother, is that how you welcome me!" said Kurolo, gritting his teeth.
In the center of the plaza there was a passage through which stood a dwarf leprechaun that resembled Culolo. The goblin is dressed in a gorgeous armor, every detail of the armor is meticulously crafted, and there is a strong elemental power circulating on it.
"The shame of the goblins, the scum of the entire race, you still have the face to appear in front of me?" The goblin in the gorgeous armor seemed to have not spoken for too long, and his voice was extremely stiff, and even many words were confused.
"Stuttering ......" Chenxi was stunned, which did not match the coquettish image of the other party.
"It's not a stutter, the other party shouldn't have communicated in words for a long time!" said Xiang Xiang silently. This at least shows that the so-called goblin remnants have disappeared a long time ago.
"Graeme, my dear brother. May I politely ask you to tell me why your father's beloved armor is worn by you, and why you, who have always been clever and clever, have become the way you are. Also, where are all my people now?" Kulolo's voice was cold, as if a chill was shining in the air.
"Your people, what qualifications do you have to say this!" Graeme said in a mechanical voice, still very unfavorable between words, "If you hadn't insisted on joining forces with the giants, how could our fairy kingdom have been destroyed?" Where did you go when we were in trouble, when the country was destroyed? Where did you go when we were slaughtered by the gods of Danu on the battlefield? Where did you go when we were hiding in Tibet and panicking all day long?"
"I'm going my own way, ridiculous!" retorted Kurolo angrily, "a bunch of fools who can't tell the situation for the sake of a little bit of money. The city in the sky has fallen, the Danu Protoss is unstable, and how much war money have you made from this. If we hadn't united with the giants, we would have been enslaved by the gods. Do you think that everything will be fine if you don't go to war head-on, open your mouse eyes and see who the gods of Danu have tolerated along the way? Even the elven clan who first supported them and made great achievements in war has not been wiped out by them in the name of civil war!"
"Hmph, what about then, where did you go when the war began?" Grim snorted, though he hated his brother. But he also knew that in terms of wit, scheming and overall situation, his second brother was indeed a wonder in the entire goblin race.
"Whether it is joining the camp of giants or dodging the war of annihilation, I have only one belief and one goal in my heart, and that is to obtain the Farr Gem and use its power to lift the curse imposed on our race!" Kurolo said silently, "Even if the kingdom is destroyed, as long as we are still alive, as long as we still have a heritage." After obtaining the Fal Stone, you can return to the Terrans and start our own era of freedom!"
"Part of this underground project was built by me back then, and I knew that our race would not perish, so I kept following the trail of Farstone. Although, I've been told that even the Falstone can't make us go back to the way we were, I've always had that belief in my heart!" Kurolo continued, as no one else did, but Dawn saw some strange powder sprinkled on his sleeve. The powder slowly melted into the darkness of the night, unnoticed by Grim in this undersurface space where visibility was not high.
"What do you want that thing to do, why do we want to turn back into Terrans?" Graeme retorted disdainfully, "Elves have long lives, and humans alone will never be able to match them. Fairy ......"
"Why, the world is the world of human beings. Why, then, even the high-ranking Terrans have to give in to the weak humans you call out!" Kurolo interrupted Graemm's declaration with a slight word. "Human beings represent endless possibilities, the future, and hope. I, Kulolo Pasuran, have never considered myself a goblin, I and my people are part of the Terrans, and they have been, and they will be!"
"Race silverfish, I don't bother to bother with your Terran dreams if you want to, why bother us with peace!" Grim is a racist with pure fairy blood, and Kurolo's "heretical" ideas are the root of their brothers' fight. In the ancient kingdom of the goblins, each of them had a follower in their minds, and there was no real right or wrong in this kind of racial ideological battle.
"I've come into contact with a lot of wandering goblins during my wanderings around the continent, and I know that my father led the rest of my clan here. But then...... I've heard something about the coup!" Kurolo said coldly, his eyes fixed on the delicate armor on Grim's body.
"That old thing that doesn't open his eyes should have died a long time ago. It's ridiculous that he wants to use the two of us to play some kind of checks and balances, is his elm brain enough!" Graemm snorted disdainfully, not denying the fact that he had killed his father and usurped the throne.
