39 The Siege of the Fishmen

Lorne froze in place.

A fisherman fell into the sea right in front of him, his head cut in half, and he didn't even have time to scream. What is Balza doing desperately trying to protect the fisherman?

The frightened cries of the other fishermen brought Lorne back to his senses: "Oh my God!

More voices rang out on the planks on the side of the ship, and Lorne was about to step forward to help Balza, but he shouted back: "Don't come!"

The two fishmen bared their teeth and bit down on Balza's crusty armarmor. He swung his fist hard and smashed it where the fish's head was not protected by scales. The fish-men relented from the blow to the head, and Balza grabbed their mouths with both hands and tore them in half.

It took a lot of effort to deal with the two fishmen, and a dozen more fishmen climbed up from all sides of the ship. The fishermen were scurrying in fright, and a few young men with strong blood grabbed the thick ropes on the boat and prepared to fight, but their hands were easily cut off.

"Hide in the cabin! Leave one to sail!" Barza roared, and the fishermen, frightened, at last thought of such a place as a cabin, and hurried around to the entrance of the descending staircase on the deck. The fishmen chased after each other as if it were their slaughtering feast, and strange cries emanated from their cavities.

The stairs into the cabin are intercepted by two fishmen, and Lorne Shadow steps forward to sneak up and stab the queen's blade into the back of the fishmen's heads, killing them instantaneously when they are completely unresponsive. The fishermen ran into the cabin like crazy and locked the hatch, leaving the two fishermen locked out.

They clutched their heads in panic, only to be dragged to the deck by Lorne. Balza shouted: "Open the boat!"

Extremely reluctant, the two fishermen just want to hide in the cabin to save their lives, but watching the fishmen who keep climbing onto the boat besiege, they begin to realize that the end result of dodging is to die in the belly of the ship and become a meal for the monsters.

So they pressed their beating hearts and rushed to the bow of the ship to hold the compass. The people in the cabin, though ruthless and selfish, are also assisting in the sail control.

"Lorne, protect them!" Barza roared, and a fish-man took the opportunity to sneak up and cut the hard armor joints of his limbs, falling to the ground. More fishmen rushed forward, cutting and tearing, and Balza's armor was constantly being torn apart, and blood was streaked all over it.

"Balza!" Lorne didn't care about either side at all. Fishmen tried to attack the ship's riders, but Lorne cut them back with a sharp blade, but did no real damage.

The blood rings on his hands lit up, and Lorne continued to attack with blood magic, but the blood fireballs that flew out smashed into the scales of the fish to no avail, leaving only a small piece of charred black.

There were no other weapons on the deck, and the situation was terrible. Balza held the barrel and swung it away, smashing the fish-man who rushed forward, and he was helpless to lose his great axe.

It was getting darker, the clouds were thick, and fine rains began to fall. The white mist rises from the sea, and the dense density faintly floats in the beautiful female song, distant and close, revealing indescribable fear.

Lorne had no weapon but a scimitar, and the continuous combat made him feel tired, and a faint voice in his head gradually sounded, like the snickering of an evil god.

How he wished he had a heavy weapon of mass destruction in his hands to smash these fish-men. He remembered the power of his war god clan again, and at this moment, Lorne's heart began to cry out to the ancient evil god.

"Give me strength!

The voice in my head did not respond. Lorne began to roar in his heart, he no longer minded that the power was right and evil, as long as it could solve the immediate crisis, he would rather submit to the evil god!

But no matter how much Lorne pleaded, the lonely old god would not respond. His physical strength became more and more unsupportable, and Lorne's movements slowed down a lot, which also gave the fish-people a chance to sneak attack.

A fish-man pounced on the side and pierced the boatman's calf with a long, toothed snout. The fisherman screamed in pain and beat the fisherman's head with his hand like madness, only to be thrust into his arm by the upside-down scales.

The fish-man screamed and began to eat the young man's calf. Horne was stunned by the screams of pain, and hurriedly stepped forward to relieve the siege, stabbing the fishman in the back of the head with a scimitar and killing it.

Another fisherman had long since been torn to pieces by the fish-man and thrown into the sea, and Balza's figure was fading in the mist, but it was certain that he was still fighting. Lorne was going crazy and roared, "Go boat!"

The young man was confused in pain, but he was dragged up by Lorne, and his bloody hands rested on the compass. As soon as Lorne let go, he collapsed on the deck and passed out.

Damn! Damn!

If you come to drive the boat yourself, then no one will be able to continue fighting!

Lorne tried to use his pure-blood dominance to blow the fishmen to pieces, but no matter how hard he tried, nothing happened. He didn't know what the trigger mechanism of his dark bloodline was, so he had to hurry.

By the way, allowing yourself to experience death might trigger the power of the bloodline, but the thought was fleeting, and Lorne didn't dare to take such a risk, because NDE is a blurred line, and if his head is cut off in an instant, he may actually die!

The sailboat had returned at full speed for nearly ten minutes, and it should not be far from land by now, but nothing could be seen clearly in the fog. Balza had overloaded his Level 1 ability with rage, roaring incessantly, and the fish-man's fragments were thrown everywhere, and he was already bleeding profusely.

Lorne began to feel hopeless. He didn't expect that in such a situation, those who hid in the cabin would actually lock the iron door, and the selfishness and ruthlessness of human nature would be exposed.

He gritted his teeth fiercely, regardless of the scratches on his body, cut a bloody path with a scimitar in his hand, and came to the iron door of the cabin and slapped it violently: "Get out!"

But no one responded, and large patches of blood oozed from the cracks under the iron door. Lorne was startled, and his shoulder thrust into the cabin two or three times, only to feel the blood clotted all over his body.

There were no living people in the cabin, and there were torn pieces of flesh all over the place, and the smell of fishy wine filled the dimly lit cabin. Four large holes had been carved out of the hull on both sides, and several barramundi were clutching at pieces of meat.

It turned out that the fish-men on deck were just a front to drag Balza and Lorne. Other fishmen climbed onto the hull from the sea, stabbed the reinforced planks with their toothed fish's beaks, and burrowed into the cabin to kill.

The fish-men on both sides paused for a moment and slowly surrounded them, as if they wanted to play a little longer and torture their prey to death. Lorne's heart was as dead as he was ashen, and he suddenly became unusually calm.

A faint voice in his head sneered, and the deep old language conveyed its meaning: "Are these people really worthy of your protection?"

Lorne froze in place.

"The lowly creatures, like the servants of Hagarn, are dust before me. The voice said, "You don't need my strength to deal with them yet." ”

Lorne was exhausted and his eyes glazed. For the first time, he began to feel that voice conveying the right will. These fishermen have no feelings for themselves at all, they are just lowly existences, so why protect them?

But a loud bang underneath the cabin brought Lorne back to his senses. The sailboat jolted a few times, and several fishmen were thrown off the wooden holes in the hull.
