Chapter 294: Authority (II)
As soon as summer comes, Eriakas's plan will allow him to ascend to the throne of the Candela continent.
The dragoons of the other continents on Candela all looked at him with envy and fear.
Because a continent will never satisfy Eriakas.
His vision had already begun to move westward, beyond the Western Rian Sea.
But now - an unimaginable tragedy has happened.
Eriakas walked to the door of Ella's bedroom and found it locked.
He coldly recited a spell, and the heavy wooden door exploded to pieces in front of him.
Eriakas stepped over the flying debris of the doorway and the blue flames into Ella's bedroom, one hand resting on the hilt of his sword.
Ella lay on the bed. As soon as she saw Ireakas, she immediately took a pajama and stood up to cover her slender body.
Even in the midst of his raging rage, Eriakas couldn't help but admire the woman he trusted the most among the commanders.
Although his visit must have been unexpected, and though she knew that the price of her failure was death, she calmly faced him.
There was no spark of fear in his eyes, and there was not a word of begging for mercy in his closed lips.
It only made Eriakas angrier, and reminded her even more of how much she had let him down.
Without saying a word, he took off his helmet and threw it at a box in the corner, shattering it.
At the sight of Ariakas's face, Ella was actually confused.
She subconsciously shrank into the sheets, her hands nervously fiddling with the ribbons on her pajamas.
Anyone who has seen Ereakas's face rarely becomes pale right away.
It was a face devoid of human feelings.
Even when he was angry, he could only see the twitching muscles near his chin.
His long black hair hid his pale face. The freshly shaved place on the face is stubble again. His eyes were dark and deep, like a frozen lake.
Eriakas rushed to the bedside with an arrow. He pulled down the curtains around him, reached in and grabbed Ella's short hair, pulled her off the bed, and slammed her to the floor with a thud.
Ella landed heavily and couldn't help but let out a wail from her mouth.
But she recovered quickly, and she was almost ready to get up quickly like a cat.
However, the voice of Eriakas froze her.
"Kneel for me, Ella!" he deliberately and slowly drew his sword from its scabbard.
"Kneel on the ground and bow your head like a sinner to be publicly beheaded.
Because I am the executor of your death sentence, Ella.
That's the price of my subordinates' failures!"
Ella continued to kneel, but she kept her head up. Eriakas saw the hatred burning in her brown eyes, and he was glad he had a sword in his hand.
Once again, he had to praise her, and even in the face of death, there was no fear in her eyes, only the fury of revenge.
He raised his sword, but the fatal blow never fell.
Cold fingers gripped his sword-gripping wrist.
"I'm sure you should listen to the Dragoon's explanation. A hollow voice said.
Eriakas is a strong man.
He can pierce the body of a horse with a single throw of a spear. With a single snap of his hand, he can break a person's neck. But he found that he couldn't break free from the cold grip that was slowly tightening.
Finally, Eriakas let go of his sword in pain, and the glittering sword fell to the ground with a thud.
Ella stood up in a trance. Gesturing, she ordered her men to let go of Ireakas.
He immediately turned around and raised a hand, ready to cast a spell that would turn the monster behind him into ashes.
Then he came to a standstill. Taking a deep breath, Eriakas staggered back, completely forgetting the spell he was about to cast.
The figure standing in front of him was no taller than him, clad in ancient pre-Cataclysmic armor.
That armor belonged to the Sorenian Knights. The symbol of the Rosenkavalier is carved on the chest, etched by the years, and now it is only a faintly visible black shadow.
The armoured figure had no helmet and no weapon on his hands.
But Eriakas glared at him and took another step back. Because the human form was not a living person.
The face of that humanoid figure is transparent. Eriakas could see the wall behind him.
A faint red glow shimmered in the grooves of its eyes. It stared straight ahead, as if it could see through Ereakas.
"Necro Knight!" he whispered in awe.
Eriakas rubbed his aching wrist, which vaguely contained a cold demonic aura that did not belong to the human world.
Frightened even more than he looked, Eriakas bent down to pick up his sword.
He muttered a spell as he dispelled the after-effects of the crushing grip.
He stood up and glared viciously at Ella, who was looking at him with a narrow smile.
"Is this monster your subordinate?" he asked hoarsely.
Ella shrugged. "So let's put it this way, and we'll take what we need. β
Eriakas had to look at her with admiration. He glanced at the Necro Knight out of the corner of his eye and sheathed his sword.
"Does he often visit your boudoir like this?" he said contemptuously. My wrist hurts so much right now.
"He comes when he wants, he leaves when he wants. Ella replied, casually wrapping her body in her pajamas.
It's not so much for face, but for the cold spring weather. She shrugged and shrugged as she brushed her short, curly hair with her hands.
"After all, this is still his castle. β
Ariakas closed his mouth, his mind racing through all kinds of ancient legends, and after a moment of trance, "Sir Thorne!"
He turned to face the figure and said, "The Black Rose Knight?"
The knight nodded politely.
"I have forgotten the legend of Daga Fort. Eriakas looked at Ella thoughtfully. "This young lady, you have more daring than I thought to live in this cursed house.
According to legend, Sir Souths was the commander of an entire army of skeletonsβ"
"It's very useful on the battlefield. Ella said with a yawn. She walked over to a small table by the fireplace and picked up a crystal glass bottle.
"Just let them touch it," she smiled and glanced at Eriakas.
"Well, I think you know what happens to poor creatures who don't have enough mana to counteract their influence. Would you like to have some wine?"
"Good," Eriakas replied, still staring intently at the transparent face.
"What about the wraiths who are on the side?"
"They're here...... somewhere. Ella shuddered again, then raised her glass.
"Maybe you'll hear them soon. Sir South, of course, does not sleep.
The ladies helped him through the long night. β
For a moment, Ella pale and put her glass to her lips without moving.
Then she put the cup down as it was, her hands trembling slightly.
"It's really not pleasant. She said succinctly. She turned her head to look around and asked, "What did you do with Gabbanus?"
Eriakas fiddled with his glass and said nonchalantly. "I left him in ...... Under the stairs. β
"Is it dead?" Ella asked, pouring him another glass of wine.
Eriakas frowned. "Maybe. He's in my way. Is there anything wrong with that?"
"I think he ...... It's funny. Ella said. "He acted on many aspects of Bakaris' mission. β
"Bakaris, I remember. Eriakas finished another glass of wine. "Your commander has been captured, and your army has been crushed!"
"He's an idiot. β
Ella said coldly. Even though he was crippled, he tried to ride on the back of a dragon. β
"I've heard, what's going on with his arm?"
"In the Tower of the King, the elven woman shot him with an arrow.
It was his own negligence, and he paid the price.
I have removed him from his post and made him my personal bodyguard. But he insisted on washing away the shame. β
"You don't seem to care in the slightest about his capture. Eriakas said as he looked at Ella.
The pajamas were just at the neck, supported by two ribbons, and didn't cover her slender body much.
Ella smiled. "There's nothing to lose. Gabbanus is a pretty good replacement.
I hope you didn't kill him, and it's nerve-wracking to send someone to Karaman tomorrow. "What are you going to Karaman for tomorrow, are you going to surrender to the knight and the woman?"
Ariakas asked sarcastically, and his anger began to rise again.
"Not true. Ella found a chair across from him and sat down, looking at him coldly.
"I am ready to accept their surrender. β
"Hah!" Eriakas snorted. "They're not crazy. They also know that the current war is in their favor, and you and I both know that this is true!" His face turned the color of a pig's liver.
Eriakas picked up the bottle and poured the rest of the wine into his glass.
"Ella, your necromantic knight saved your life, at least tonight. But it can't stay with you forever. β
"My plan went even more smoothly than I had hoped. Ella replied fluently, unaffected by Eriakas's anger.
"If I can fool you, my lord, then I am confident that I can fool my enemies. β
"When did you lie to me. Ara?" Eriakas was as calm as an iceberg.
Ella was slightly stunned when she heard this, he didn't understand what the other party was trying to convey when she said this.
Although Eriakas is now the leader of the Dragoons, he is also the most favored subordinate after the darkness.
The power he wields is self-evident, and decisions, big or small, will cause great turmoil on the entire Candela continent.
Ella now has the help of the Necromantic Skeleton, at least without worrying about being killed in her sleep.
However, she is only able to protect herself, and the number of dragoons under her command cannot be compared to that of Eriakas.
