10 Scythe Spider
Lorne froze in place, watching blood splatter from Samuel's side and his right arm hit the ground.
"Let's go!" Samur roared, the pain shattering his consciousness for a few seconds, staggering under his feet, and barely standing on his feet with great willpower. He shouted twice in quick succession before Lorne came to his senses, and Erin was already scared and weak.
Samur walked quickly, lowered himself and ran to the left, dodging the second cold light. If you don't bow your head, your head is gone.
The lurker in the forest appeared, a huge spider nearly two meters tall, with eight slender and sharp legs, like a sickle, looking extremely hard, glowing with cold light under the rain. Its poison sac hangs down below, and the face of a dirt dog grows on the front!
"Let's go!" a desperate roar finally woke Erin. She snapped back to her senses, tugged at Lorne's sleeve and turned her head to run, but she didn't pull it, and when she looked back, she saw that Lorne was shaking and her bones were popping.
Lorne's adrenaline was rushing, and after the horror was the rage! He looked at the kobold spider in front of him, and he no longer felt so scared, but his anger soared!
The kobold spider turned, its forefoot raised high, about to cleave. Lorne didn't hide at all, he brandished the meat splitting knife with one hand, and the green tendons in his neck jumped violently, slashing across the knife fiercely!
There was a hard, crisp sound, and the spider's scythe leg snapped, embedded in the dirt, and black blood splattered. The spider's miserable and high-pitched cry was almost exactly the same as the cry for help that had been heard!
Samuel endured the pain and his eyes widened as he watched Lorne slash like crazy. The spider was also in high spirits, and fought with the sharp faces of the other feet, but the material of the meat cleaver was harder, and after a few strokes, only three of the eight legs remained.
Seeing that the battle situation was temporarily superior, Samuel shouted: "Go!"
Erin pulled Lorne with all her might, and finally she did. Lorne's eyes were red, his breath was short, his heart was beating hard, and he didn't know why he felt the urge to cut monsters to shreds when he saw them!
But Samur's shouts and Erin's tugging finally brought him back to his senses, and he knew that now was not the time for a fight. Jack is dead, and he must protect the injured Samuel and Erin from the evacuation!
The three of them ran back together, following the footprints on the ground to barely make out the direction. The giant spider behind it tried to catch up, but its three legs could not support its weight, and it angrily embedded its sickle legs in the dirt and let out a piercing scream.
As if in response to its call, the same shrill screams rang out from all sides of the woods, and more sickle spiders appeared behind the trio, slightly smaller but fast, with various faces, dog heads or rabbit faces.
Fueled by adrenaline, both Lorne and Erin ran faster. Although Samuel had a broken arm, he had the ability to move quickly, and he did not fall behind.
Seeing the spider swarm approaching, Samuel's eyes lit up with blood, and he pulled out his left-handed crossbow during the run, and from time to time he turned around and locked the spider's head with the ability of a falcon, and one after another crossbow arrows came out of the string.
The scythe spider in the first formation was shot in the face by a crossbow arrow, and a flash of black blood rushed out, slowing down with a hiss. But it didn't work at all, and the spiders behind charged forward instead of them.
Samuel was about to bear to the limit, the blood was not stopping, his feet were already a little weak, coupled with the use of level 2 ability, he only felt that his eyes were black, and the falcon's locking ability had also decreased a lot, and many crossbow arrows had lost their heads and fell into muddy water.
The three of them distanced themselves from the spider swarm a little, and finally returned to the mud slope, Erin and Lorne ran like crazy, looking back at Samuel from time to time, and praying in their hearts, "Holy Mother bless, don't slide!"
Perhaps it was Celine who heard their prayers, and Samur ran all the way up without slipping down. The two of them couldn't help but breathe a sigh of relief, but it wasn't over yet, the scythe spider's legs were embedded in the dirt and soon climbed uphill!
Lorne whistled, and soon the horses were dragging the wagons to pick them up. But Samuel's situation was not optimistic, he was almost exhausted, his eyes were glazed, his crossbow fell to the ground, and he could not run.
"Die!" Lorne's eyes were red, and he activated his anger again, and frantically brandished his meat cleaver to split the spider that rushed uphill in half!
Erin hurriedly helped Samuel into the car, jumped to the front of the car, and shouted anxiously, "Lorne!
Lorne came back to his senses, seeing more and more spiders rushing up, and the black pressure was piled up on the hillside, he knew that he couldn't finish killing it at all, so he fought and retreated, jumped out of the carriage, and grabbed the handle: "Drive!"
Erin whipped hard, the horse neighed, and the carriage began to drive away from the plantation. But the spider swarm didn't seem to stop, hundreds and thousands, following the carriage and running wildly!
The swarm of spiders soon approached the carriage, and the horses were so frightened that they chirped. Lorne stood outside the carriage, slashing wildly, slashing the approaching spiders into black blood. On a few occasions he even felt the urge to jump out of the car and fight them to the end, but the last remaining sanity stopped him in time.
The carriage drove out of the northwest planting area and galloped down the moorland promenade. Erin exclaimed, "Can't let them into town!"
On rainy days or at night, when monsters are infested, the Pilgrims of the Wasteland retreat to a place close to the town to garrison, because it is too dangerous outside, and if there is an emergency, they must gather men to fight.
Lorne woke up suddenly. If he continued to chase after him, these spiders would enter Nokmar's final base, and the people would be finished! His mind was blank while he was fighting, and he couldn't think of a good way.
Suddenly, Samuel coughed up blood and stretched out his left hand and handed out a flare gun through the car window: "Inform the centurion...... Get ready...... Fight!"
Lorne grabbed the handle of the carriage with his left hand and slashed with his right hand, leaving no chance to catch the flare gun. He gritted his teeth, stuck his arm in the brass handle, quickly grabbed the flare gun, pointed it to the sky, and pulled the trigger!
With a crack, the red flare shot straight into the rain curtain and burst into the air, blooming blood-red flowers. Lorne's center of gravity was unbalanced, and he quickly threw away the flare gun and grabbed the handle.
Damn!
He didn't ask for the blessing of the Virgin, he just wanted the people of the town to see it and send someone to help!
The carriage galloped all the way to the town of White Sails under the wasteland, and Lorne could even see the outer city defenses. Suddenly, his eyes lit up, and he saw a yellow glow pouring out of the town, like a sea of light. On closer inspection, the hunter cavalry in raincoats hurried towards this side with weapons in hand.
The iron gate on the outside of the town was lowered to protect the town. The hunters rushed to the wasteland, with steam lamps hanging from their saddles, chanting all the way, blood flashed, and several balls of blood fireballs flew through the rain curtain and burned the spiders to ashes!
