Chapter 011: Involvement

As the evening approached, the snow was getting heavier and heavier, like goose feathers.

With Martin at the driver, Favian's carriage moved quickly. At this point, there was no longer a trade path at all, and Martin was moving forward completely by the trees on both sides of the road, relying on experience.

"Yu... Suddenly, Martin stopped in the carriage.

"Young master, something is wrong ahead, do you want to come over and take a look. Even in a thick cotton coat and a rain and snow jacket, Martin was still a little shivering.

Without saying a word, Favian opened the curtain and saw that there were large patches of dark red blood on the snow in front of him, and he didn't even have time to bury the heavy snow.

Favian immediately jumped out of the carriage with his long sword, walked to the slightly bulging snow, and kicked lightly with his foot, it was a corpse that turned over, and Favian gently shook the snow on the corpse.

"This is the guard of the caravan from before!" he recognized the identity of the corpse, which had been patrolling in the middle of the night each time during the previous camp.

"The knights were really going for them," Favian muttered in a low voice.

Looking at the number of corpses in front of him, it was obvious that it was not all of the caravan, and someone should still be alive.

Favion walked a little further, and saw that the snow was strewn with stray footprints and horseshoe prints, and he considered whether to continue the pursuit.

He doesn't want to be nosy, and he doesn't have a sense of justice. It's just weighing the pros and cons, and he doesn't know what he can get if he makes a move.

"Forget it, I still don't care about them. Feeling that there was nothing worth making a move on, he decided to let Martin steer the carriage slower and avoid the muddy water as much as possible.

Favian began to walk back, intending to return to the carriage and continue on his way.

Just then, he heard a very low cough that had been suppressed.

"Who!" Favian could hear, it was clearly not Martin's voice. So he drew the knight's sword in his hand and looked around warily.

Squeak. Squeak. This is the sound of people walking on thick snow.

"I'm sorry, I don't mean anything, I just want to get your help!" came a girl from behind the tree on Favian's right.

At a glance, Favian recognized the girl as the real person in charge of the caravan.

"I'm sorry, I don't even know your identity and don't want to get involved in this dispute. Favien put away his sword and walked towards the carriage.

"Chip, detect girl attributes. Favian commanded the chip in his mind.

"Ding!Unnamed!Strength: 2.3 (4.3) Agility: 2.5 (4.7) Constitution: 2.3 (3.9) Spirit: 1.1 Status: Injured!"

The girl suffered a lot of abdominal injuries, and even if there were no pursuers afterward, it would definitely be a hassle to take her with her.

"I can pay you, absolutely to your satisfaction, I just hope you can send me to Peru City!" the girl said hurriedly, and coughed violently twice from the injuries on her body.

"I don't think there's anything else in you that deserves my help. Favian paused, but still didn't look back, just said lightly.

"A map, a map of the wizard's ruins! And the ruins on the map are also near Peru City!" the girl's eyes were complicated, with reluctance, relief, and hope.

Favian's heart pounded violently twice, and he turned to stare at her intensely.

"Let's go to the carriage and take care of the wounds!" said Favian after half a sound, turning back to the girl.

"Thank you!" the girl wiped the snow from her head with her hand, and walked towards the carriage in small steps, she did not dare to walk too fast, after all, she had lost a lot of blood, and if the amount of bleeding was too heavy in this weather, it was easy to get sick.

The knight's physical fitness is very high, but that doesn't mean she won't get sick, and if the girl is sick now, if she doesn't get timely treatment, she will most likely be killed by it.

Favian stood quietly outside the carriage, letting the snowflakes fall on him, as if thinking about something, and couldn't help but be a little distracted.

"I hope there will. After a long time, Favian exhaled a hot breath and muttered something in a low voice.

The carriage quickly broke away from the small battlefield and ran at a constant speed in the direction of the city.

Favian looked at the arrow wrapped in linen on the ground, and then carefully looked at the girl in front of him, and couldn't help but light up in front of her, a typical Western beauty.

He was older than Favian, about sixteen or seventeen years old, and his beautiful hair was scattered on his back like a small brown waterfall. As if he no longer had to worry about his own safety, a pair of eyes as pure as spring water contained a soft light, calm and warm.

"My name is Favien Bourbon, you know, what do I call you?" seemed to be affected by the girl, and Favian's voice became softer and less cold.

"I'm sorry, Winnie Feder, you can call me Winnie. Winnie lowered her head in embarrassment, her people had besieged Favian, but now Favian had saved her.

"Why don't you tell me what the hell is going on?" Favien was a little curious, after all, the knights were clearly headed for Winnie.

Winnie hesitated, afraid that if she spoke out, Favien would give up on helping her. After all, the opposing side is too strong.

Favien could see Winnie's hesitation, but he didn't explain anything, just looked at the other party quietly. The opportunity is given to her, and whether she can grasp it depends on the other party's choice.

"My family is a nobleman of the Fred Kingdom, and my father is a powerful viscount with a strength close to the level of a great knight. Without waiting for Faviando, it only took a moment for Winnie to begin to tell the story of what had happened.

"This is an ancient family that has been on this continent for thousands of years, and has always kept a low profile, but this time it was the powerful Duke of the Kingdom who did not know where to get the news that our family inherited the legacy of the Mill Empire. Winnie clenched her fists in anger, her face flushed with anger.

Favian was a little surprised that it was the old duke who wanted to deal with her. However, he can also understand that in order to deal with the Bourbon family, the old duke has fallen into a state of madness, and he will not give up anything that can increase his strength. From this point of view, the Feder family suffered a complete unwarranted disaster.

"After encountering an irresistible enemy, my father had no choice but to let us children, each carry a part of the family property, and transfer it in advance. And my father led some of the knights to live and die with the territory!" Tears flowed down Winnie's cheeks as she spoke.

"So these knights were also sent by them to hunt down, is it for the sake of the wizard relics?" Favien gradually sorted out everything that had happened from beginning to end.

The conversation in the carriage gradually became immersive, and Winnie had lost a lot of blood, which would require a good rest. Favian closed his eyes, not knowing what he was thinking.

At this moment, Favian suddenly heard the sound of horses' hooves. The sound was faint, and that was because it was absorbed by the snow on the ground.

Favian lifted the curtain and looked ahead.

"Martin, don't panic, just follow this speed, just move forward at a constant speed. Martin was a little flustered in the car, although he was loyal and honest, but he was not stupid, the knights, the corpses and the girl, he knew.

The squad of galloping knights gradually got closer and closer to the carriage.

When the knight at the head saw the carriage, he made a gesture and slowed down his attack.

The leader of the knights was dressed in dark red armor and held a greatsword instead of a longsword, which Favion said was definitely wider than the length of his skull.

Seeing that it was just a simple and honest groom and a child, the knight made a gesture, and they picked up their speed again, and continued to run, and he recognized the carriage, which his team of knights passed by just as he had been tracking Winnie earlier.

However, when the knight leader missed the carriage, Favian saw a hesitant look on his face.

"Okay, it's safe for now. Favien said to Winnie in the corner.

Winnie quickly let go of the hand covering her nose and mouth, and gasped for air.

Any knight has a keen perception of the external environment, and of course, it is useless to distance beyond the range of perception.

"Chip, bring up the test just now. Favian said silently in his heart.

"Ding! A total of twenty-one people have been detected! Three knights! Four knight apprentices!"

"Ding!Unnamed Strength: 6.7 Dexterity5.9 Constitution: 6.8 Spirit: 1.0 Status: Health!"

"Ding!Unnamed Strength: 5.4 Dexterity: 5.1 Constitution: 5.3 Spirit: 1.0 Status: Health!"

"Ding!Unnamed Strength: 3.3 (5.1) Agility: 2.9 (4.7) Constitution: 3.1 (5.3) Spirit: 1.0 Status: Injured!"

"You wounded their knights?" Favien asked in surprise as he saw one of the wounded knights.

"No, they are much stronger than us, and the Finnish captain of the guard led them away. Winnie explained.

Silence returned to the carriage, except for the sound of Martin waving his whip and driving the carriage forward.

And Favian didn't say anything more, just lowered his head and pondered, it was obvious that the knight's injury should have been caused by Finland's dying counterattack.

。。。。。

The group of knights who crossed by Favian were riding their horses and running towards the path they had come, getting closer and closer to the small battlefield.

The knight leader waved his hand and directed his team to slow down. When they arrived at the battlefield, all the knights stopped neatly, and there was not a single sound from them.

"Dismount, search the scene, and find the girl for me!" the knight leader looked around, and some traces were buried by the heavy snow.

All the members dismounted and searched around.

"Sir, there's blood here!" a knight apprentice quickly discovers where Winnie was hiding.

The knight leader walked over quickly, and following the slightest trace, quickly found the location where Favian had stayed before.

Then after a few laps around where the carriage had stopped.

The knight leader looked gloomily in the direction of Favian's departure.
